You media people put too much in the 1st of anything. What I'm concerned with is he/she corrupt or not, how they spend our money and what they stand behind, how they govern and do they defend our constitution and laws
The media often highlights the first racial minority in a political position to underscore progress in representation, equality, and diversity. This is significant because it reflects societal milestones and recognizes the breaking of barriers that have historically excluded certain groups from positions of power and influence. Many racial minorities have faced systemic discrimination and exclusion in the U.S., making their achievements noteworthy milestones in American history. Celebrating "firsts" helps to acknowledge how far society has come in addressing inequality. These "firsts" often inspire others, especially from underrepresented communities, by showing that such positions are attainable. Representation matters-seeing someone from a similar background in leadership roles can encourage participation in politics and civic engagement. Highlighting these milestones educates the public about the historical lack of diversity in certain roles and industries. Pointing out these achievements holds institutions accountable, signaling progress or lack thereof in creating opportunities for all Americans. It challenges the status quo and encourages broader systemic change.
It’s not done for the sake of representation of any ethnicity, it’s done for the sake of boosting their own ego. Being Mexican American, whenever a Chicano became “The first” whatever, I didn’t care because in the end, the only difference between a white politician and a Mex-American politician is just skin. Political figures are not the common person so I can’t relate to them.
The road conditions in Fremont are in very poor shape, and cleanliness needs significant improvement. Street cleaning occurs only once a month without any parking enforcement. Many walkways are broken. Additionally, thousands of apartments have been approved, and roads have been narrowed under the pretext of bicycle safety. Hopefully, attention will be given to improving Fremont's infrastructure.
He needs to address the homeless people who live in RVs, vans and cars that are parked in Lake Elizabeth, Central Park of Fremont. You see at least 15 cars in the park after 9PM.

Hope the new mayor does something to improve the night life at Fremont- better restaurants like a Cheesecake Factory etc , some bars / clubs etc and an active downtown like a Mountain View downtown , anything to make Fremont not such a boring city. Fremont is great for travel as it’s centrally located in bay area and has good schools , but have to drive down to a palo alto/ Mountain View etc to have a decent night out in the city.
There is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My husband and I will be retiring in the next two years n another country. We are absolutely worried that SSI will no longer be funded. we'll have to rely on his pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific lnvestment account with my Abby Joseph Cohen my FA. Our national debt is bloating and expanding every month. Our government needs to get spending under control and cut the federal budget.
I know this FA, Abby Joseph Cohen Services but only by her reputation at Goldman Sachs; even though she's now involved in managing portfolios and providing investmnt guidance to clients. I have been trying to get in contact since I watched her interview on WSJ last month

Such a weak comment and weak mindset, a elected person? How can he be a “ruler” that happens in islamic countries with little to no education off course you know which book they read, but the way you speak about Indians is very weak. You sound like a very weak person.

As long as he’ll make Fremont how it was and bring people together I’m in .

Make Fremont affordable and safe again 😅 (homeless ness and rents have increased or so I have been told)
It will never be affordable you can forget that part. Too many great jobs near-by for it to be affordable.
@RandomRabbit007 thanks for your comment. Any examples of great jobs you would like to share?
