- Walter Hamada testified in the Johnny Depp defamation trial that there was no chemistry between Amber Heard and Jason Momoa in 'Aquaman' and that was the reason her part was not as prominent in "Aquaman 2." Heard has tried to argue that actions by Depp lead to Warner Bros. diminishing her role in the film, which Hamada said was not true.

what were her claims? I missed parts of the case, so I didn't fully grasp if this guy's deposition was detrimental to AH's side or not. Could you or anyone please explain? Also, the attorney asking the question was Amber's right? Why did she focus so much on the lack of chemistry, when that would seem to go against her client's best interest?

I find that when there's chemistry between actors (especially the main ones) you can't miss it, and you remember the character portrayals way after watching the movie. With Amber Heard, I can't remember anything except that she had red hair and a green suit.

I hadn't realised that Amber Heard was in the film and remembered absolutely nothing of the character. I've since watched a clip and wasn't overly impressed. Heard has poor acting skills which she could get away with if she could offer a screen presence; but this is non-existing. I don't think much of Momoa's acting but he has a huge presence

So they basically, WB DC, Walter Hamada is now has to debunk Amber’s statements. Walter says the reason is No Chemistry between Amber and Jason Momoa. They wanted to replace the Actresses. But Amber says, she fought hard to get her role back and got paid for it.

To be honest I didn't know who Amber Heard is before this trial and I just only recently watched Aquaman just for the sake of this trial..My honest opinion, Nicole Kidman moved me with her acting and her chemistry with her on screen husband is so good.Amber Heard on screen chemistry with Jason Momoa is just so so.It's probably not good when the leading man does not have chemistry with his co star. This is the first time I have watched Amber Heard movie so I wouldn't know how is her acting in other movies but I have watched Jason Momoa with Emilia Clarke in Games Of Thrones and their chemistry is soooo good.

Heard's lawyer then goes on to waste everyone's time trying to confuse the issue by what is the definition of chemistry. Can it be produced in editing and on and on. Mr Hamada shows his intelligence and patience by repeating the same thing over and over. One can try to manipulate the truth but the truth does not change.

Amber did not have chemistry with Jason. Everyone who saw that movie knows that. Amber was a pretty face, but her acting was one-note and did not match the tone of the movie. Jason needed a better love interest, and it was clearly obvious from her first portrayal on screen in Batman V Superman that she wasn't right, but she had a minor part not worth recasting.

The woman causes problems everywhere and even Warner Brother's said they needed to replace her because it took too long to get them on equal footings and Jason had already said he won't work with her again. Jesus Elaine. It's a medium designed for post production. It has acting, photography, sound and especially the possibility of editing all the pieces to get the scene you desire best.

This should be it honestly. Proves she still got paid and was in the second movie and lost nothing like she lied that she did. She always lies. Whatever they choose to do in final edit is their business. Also proves they weren't going to let her go due to Depp or anything including that but because of her and chemistry. Pretty straight forward. She lost nothing due to Depp. Ever.
She lost a First Class compartment on the Depp Gravy Train. All her minions and bullying victims hopped aboard like magnets. It’s frightening to watch a grown woman trapped in all her lies. (On video no less). However, she does have $7M to play with but that goes fast for a party girl like her. During this trial, we learned she has “former friends” , whatever that means, who are kind enough to testify on her behalf. Is there an “or else” attached to that gesture? Her personal witnesses all looked intimidated which, given they’re mostly ne’er-do-wells, they most likely were.
She didn’t lose much, if anything. But she sure gained a hell of a lot while with me Depp lol and regardless of the outcome, I believe she is done for in terms of public opinion.
The lack of chemistry may show that Johnny was responsible for her role in Aauaman.

I would argue that the editors of Aquaman didn't do a very good job at all of making it appear that there is chemistry between Momoa and Heard. It is quite obvious that Momoa is having trouble acting like he even likes her, and he is certainly having trouble reacting to her bland, tabula rasa attempts at acting.

I’ve read a lot of negative comments directed at Heard’s legal team such as “they’re the most incompetent lawyers” , “really bad lawyers”, etc.. Nothing is further from the truth. They’re a very established group from two different firm, I think. Both have excellent reputations. Please consider perhaps they themselves have not been told the truth. They appeared to be flustered quite a bit, stunned and at a loss for words. Very out of character for seasoned attorneys. It leaves me believing Heard is lying to them which is a gigantic mistake. They can’t fend off the mountains of evidence against her without the absolute truth. She won in the U.K. because she lied. The clip regarding notifying TMZ was very telling as she knew she put her foot in it and tried to cover up. It’s all unraveling. Sadly, I predict this jury is going to be in favor of both of them picking up their toys and going home. For non-Hollywood types, this mess must appear to be an x-rated Lifetime Movie of the Week.

Most of the time the repetition of questions is meant to clarify to the jury to the nth degree, at least in principle, but even legal professionals know heard's legal team is doing that to get him to slip up and present inconsistencies. But we all know it's grasping at straws

Yet she claim that she used the 7 million dollars due to Johnny Depp sueing her. She had 13/18mths of the money in her possession to make payment but not doing anythg abt it and she is also being paid for her role in Aquaman 2. Why not use the Aquaman 2 payment/salaried to paid her lawyer or PR instead of using the 7 million which she has not been donated as said in the press worldwide. Very clear cut in her lying. If the Jury does not see this as and important evidence of her lying then i am lost with words and trust in the US Jury system.

I feel like this was a strategic move from Warner Bro to protect them from any further lawsuits from Amber Heard. "Lack of chemistry" is a safe excuse because there are many lead actors who don't have chemistry and due to post production "magic", they manage to make it work. The movie industry generally relies on actors having good press and their private lives being kept under wrap, and in this case, I don't see how AH low popularity would not have had an impact on Aquaman and Warner Bro.
