Why is it that the side and front are not aligned? How did you set up the reference images?
im an industrial design student studying modeling in S.Korea. i really want to thank you. This is a very very, informative video :) thx again. God bless you.
How come the side and front are not in line? Dude seriously next time pls show how you set up the reference images... not everyone knows how...
very well done !
btw could you please tell me from where you get this type of blueprints, they are really detailed and very good for modelling
i need ones for a mk4 supra
This has to be the most frustating thing ever. I mean following step-by-step is fine and you are an amazing teacher, but as soon as I try to model my own car the blueprints won't match up at all, I will be modeling the wheel and it will look ok in the side and front view, but it will be in the middle of the car from the top. If I correct one view, I miss all the other 2. I must have wasted dozens of hours trying to model different cars by now with no improvement between sessions, I decided I would simply download a free model, delete the brand and model, and stretch or narrow it as well as changing the lights shape and adding further details.
for some reason its always my front view thats not correctly alligned to the other perspectives! no matter how correctly i place them. anyone knows why?
OMG.Once you model all Zack's car tutorials you might be able to model some cool cars by yourself.
God bless this awesome channel.
Thanks for the kind words bro!
please share references image please
already finished modeling this part.. waiting for part 2.. Awesome🤗

It's the F-Type S, 2014 model with the dual centre exhausts.

thank you so much Zack for sharing your modeling workflow with us.
Which Maya version are you using?
awesome!
Oh shit I didn't realize there's this very subtle music playing in the background! That's a nice addition, I feel like I'm playing This War of Mine for some reason! Awesome tutorial man, can't wait to see the process of making the interior for this one!
Thanks for the kind words dude, glad you find the videos useful!
Thanks for this tutorial series .here is my final exterior model !! _ _ _ www.artstation.com/artwork/XlGPY
Looks awesome! Nice one.
Can you make a video where you let see how you make and setup a object blueprint??
Already have - ua-cam.com/video/5T7Y35OXYA8/v-deo.html
Another great series.. I'm excited. but where's the reference images?
Just added them to the description.
What's the best way to navigate that site? It seems like the search thing doesn't work properly which makes finding anything quite difficult. I know you gave a direct link, but I went back to find it myself since I've had trouble navigating that site before and I still couldn't find it despite knowing the name of it already. Thanks.
Search function hasn't worked for years. Generally find the manufacturer you're looking for then rake through all the different pages.
I'm guessing the e-mail confirmation also doesn't work? Never sent me an e-mail. I've tried resend at least twice. Just curious. Thanks.
Sorry man not sure, I registered on the site a long time ago when it was properly moderated. You should still be able to access most of the images as a guest.
great tutorial .thanks !
just wondering how much faster it would take you to model these cars if you didn't make it a tutorial... does talking it through slow you down?
Probably not much faster, normally I would take my time with parts. I feel like some areas get a little rushed in the interest of time.
Yes I can agree with that. I've been used to modelling cars in Solidworks and only after watching your tutorials I realised how much more detail and accuracy I could have put in to them.
i started using maya this week*
Cool Well Done !
your voice gives me peace
