I also like the mix of both in a single project, this one was amazing. Would love to see your take on the Rebuild Evangelion AT Field effect, somewhat similar to this one.
Amazing. Love the combo of shading and geometry nodes. You asked which we prefer. I say this combo approach is best! You rock. Thanks for all the content.
This was really a wonderful tutorial indeed. Thanks for this. My only problem with this is that this whole animation is 2D. This does not have any length in the side dimention, it becomes invisible. Can you please help me with that to make it in 3D so that we can add this in the Videos!!! I am unable to use this in my shortfilm, as the side view of this makes it almost invisible and unreal as well.
Thank you for this tutorial. But for me it is little bit difficult without key kombinations on the screen... becouse somthing in tutorial happend behind the video just by clicking few keys )
Yes! You can! In shader nodes, Make sure to plug Random value from Object info into the seed of White Noise set to 1D. Then, plug the output value from White noise to colRamp, and set the colramp to constant. Add the colors you want in the Colramp, Finally plug it into the Base color of Principled Bsdf.
@@renderize69 disk.yandex.ru/i/OvvGtc-XFL11ow So Google to help me))) Good evening. I say that I did about that. I don't know if the link to the screen will remain here or not. But I added a kingframe with fixed colors and randomly set the factor. And the color animation turned out. Different rings have different colors during the animation.
im doing the geometry literally without geometry nodes cause im too lazy to download the 3.0, along with my laptop is probably not capable of not dying with the 3.0 lol
whenever I apply the emission shader, it never makes the glow, just changes the transparency of my hexagon, even after i've turned shadow mode to none and blend mode to alpha blend
Would you all like more geometrynodes content in the future, or more shader stuff?
I pick both... thank you 😊
Yes. ;-)
SHADERSSS
Geometry would be good .. since that the 3.0 change a bit :P, and im on it to learn more about it too !!

Simple yet so effective. How can I do achieve this effect on a 3d mesh object.
Это прекрасно! Я сейчас делаю свой проект по аниме, и мне хотелось узнать как делать такую красоту))
Good day. Very funny and sticky. Is a random color possible here?? So that each ring has its own color???

In "render" settings I activated "bloom" and increased emission power, the result is close to something from video@@TheDominicTyler
