Why Did I Remove the Vinyl Wrap from My JEEP WRANGLER?

  • This wasn’t an easy decision by any means, but in this video I’ll explain while after less than a year, I decided to remove the custom vinyl wrap from my Jeep Wrangler. I’ll show you how well it’s held up after being out on the trail many times, out in the sun and other weather conditions, then I’ll show the process I went through to remove it and share with you my thoughts on if I’d ever wrap it again?

Funny, I was just thinking the other day how good the wrap looks and how it adds depth and texture to the Jeep. So much for that!

Wanting to be a little more subtle while daily driving when not attending expos is a good point. I similarly lean more towards an inconspicuous look with nearly everything. That wrap is still badass and served its purpose well.

Like Ronnys 79 - You did the same thing. First putt all the cool stuff on. Than, suddenly, its to heavy. I mean you do not need beadlocks and 37 on an overlander. I recommend looking to "Andrew St Pierre White" and "The Road Choose Me" and "Overtheland.de". There 4x4 have a really good overlanding concept. Maybee the Gazell Kit is the way to go for you? In Europe JKs are very common for overland use. You see them mostly chance back from big tires back to small ones. Just because everything wear out to quick when your JK is so heavy. Keep in mind that in Europe and Australia roof tops/Overland 4x4 are common for years ago.

Do yourself a favor and put a new Mopar radiator back in. Or you can try some stop leak tabs. The tabs worked great on my Motech 6.0 LS aluminum radiator. I went for a new one on the '07 because of its' age.
