    I'm from Oklahoma and have lived all over the world. It's a severely underrated place, despite having some major problems not touched on in this video. It's a great place to live for a lot of people. If you're middle class and above, it's incredible. Life sucks everywhere for poor people.

    • @everythingoklahoma
      @everythingoklahoma  3 роки тому

      @@risenshineofficial Like everything it all depends on where you are! Overall OKC isnt that dangerous especially compared to other bigger cities. Our suburbs are great (Yukon, Mustang, Edmond, Moore, Norman etc) and they usually have a pretty good school system. OKC Public school isnt the best but they arent the worst either. A better option would be a private school or a charter school near you.

      The law is the worst issue here, over half the state has been and is on parole for crimes, such as possession, and other non violent crimes, and everyone else is on probation for unpaid tickets and the like.

      I went on a 5 day vacation to Florida and missed Oklahoma on day 3. I moved to Northeast Oklahoma aka green country a few months ago and I am so happy here. I know the 'real okies' don't appreciate the influx of people moving here but I think most movers mean well and are thankful to have the freedom to move to different states in the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. The people here are amazing, especially the elderly with their kind midwestern charm and I love that the younger generation is still rocking mullets and hanging out late at local dinners with large groups of friends and have good manners.

That HAS to be in the ghetto because if you want a nice apartment (nice, not fancy but somewhere safe with low crime), I have never seen anything less than $1,100.

    I word of advice, which by the way has nothing to do with discrimination. I myself am of mixed race. Be very cautious with regards to who will be your neighbors. I am currently living near Indian computer engineering students. Ever since they moved in I have been having issues with my Wifi and computer network being hacked. Besides that, they like to save money and so they will fit about 4 people in a one bedroom apartment. Which causes excessive noise at all hours. Additionally they like having phone conversations outside which usually tends to be in front of other tenants apartments which can cause a disturbance. When they use the laundry room they leave the clothes in the machines over night and do not clean up after themselves once they are done. Additionally, They are not very clean in general. Once a cat must have taken a dump near their front door and they never cleaned it up. This attacted flies in my home. It was a mess.

      To late I've been here 24 years and have seen the turn to a liberal State, our mayor's are liberal two senators are liberal and soon I believe we will loose the governorship. Twenty years ago Biden wouldn't have been even close to beating Trump in our state. It's just a matter of time. I'm out of here I only have 10 months before full retirement. Get out. God hasn't turned his back on the USA, the USA government and half it's people has abandoned God. Hard times are coming. You can see around you. Our borders are wide open, to Middle east, Haiti, south and central America.
      Government Spending on socialist agendas, lgbtq giving God the finger. It's bad. Don't take my word for it. God showed me 4years ago to plan and take my family out, but like Sodom and Gammora some family members don't want to go or believe but I must press on. Or risk being disobedient.

I would not able to afford that much money here in California specially in San francisco cuz the housing here is very expensive. GLad you have Oklahoma has some nice housing with cheaper cost and you would not get to have that here in SF. Even for $600,000 alone would not get you a studio apartment in San Francisco let alone just one bedroom. That's why I plan to move out of here and save more money to get a student housing for a lower cost than what they have here in San Francisco. Also if you are conservative, I do not recommend you to move or even visit San Francisco due to liberal politics happening here specially at college campuses... that's why a lot of people like me who are conservatives living in SF want to get out of here.

      Hello Abraham, my family moved to Broken Arrow 10 months ago and our only regret is not moving sooner. Just wanted to mention that it is a fast growing town and will soon be a busy one. A street corner near our house that was empty in May 2021, now has a coffee shop and two not yet named stores almost complete. Lots of new construction and neighborhoods near us are in the late stages of development. If i could go back, i would maybe buy a home in Inola or Coweta which is just one town over. We love Oklahoma but our mistake was buying a cookie-cutter house with almost no backyard when a house more in the country with land is so affordable here. Please do come see all the suburbs near Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving. Sand Springs is a beautiful town west of Tulsa and has beautiful rolling hills the closer you get to Shiatook Lake. Wish you all the best, God bless.

      @@nataliafangau3518 thank you so much for your advice I will definitely check out surrounding areas around Broken Arrow. I definitely want to buy a house with a minimum of half an acre so I could play with my children outside. Selling my house here in California with the equity I will have money to pay about 80% of the house in BA. Hopefully pay it off in about 5 or 6 years.

      Hey Victor, I'm glad you are not coming, if your leaving California to come here you might as well stay there because this is now the new California. It is turning from a very conservative state to a very liberal State. Now if your looking for investment purposes only then I would recommend you come here for a couple years until the prices get like California then sell and get out. I hate it here but my wife loves it. I tell her the future is Oklahoma all States in the USA have problems but I see Oklahoma as the best bet for now. Nice homes cheap prices you can literally buy a gorgeous little mansion for 250-300k low taxes and very conservative so far you'll be able to get a good 20 year's before it starts to turn but eventually all big cities in America turn liberal little by little. My daughter lives in Texas and she knows it's turning into a liberal socialist state little by little. I'll probably cash out my half of the estate soon and get the hell out with or without the wife. Liberalism, socialism, communism, progressivism it's all a cancer. And where God is mocked and spit on, eventually it's going down my wife and I disagree big time she thinks there's hope because there praying for our country and there's hope. I say USA is one of the the beast in the book of Revelations. And although God loves us he will not be mocked. He hasn't turned from the USA, the USA has turned from him. God bless wish you the best. Trust the Lord for your life he will guide you to all truth and trust not man for he is inherently evil☮️🙏
