1) Her point makes no sense because the vast majority of those who cross the border are NOT seeking asylum status.

Some people wait 10-15 years to come here legally, many die before than and many more are returned to their country and die. They don’t tell you those stories on any news do they? She also points out how US intervention in those very countries spark movement into the US. For example the US has an embargo on Venezuela. That means right now we have US Naval ships blocking shipments of food, water, and medicine into Venezuela (yet politicians blame socialism some kinda way when we are literally blocking resources from reaching these people). On top of that leadership of neighboring countries while also having a large influx of immigrants are weary to aid Venezuela because the US might retaliate against them.

Actually, it's not true. It's the way they choose to perceive reality. Ana, like all of her progressive radical followers, don't operate from reason or logic, but from feelings and emotions. They think she did well because she expressed anger at him thoughout the diatribe, and took cheap shots. They consider she did well because she was rude and emotional. That's how they have chosen to perceive everything.

I follow and like Ana a lot, but this was not her best interview. She was rude and hostile, she asked questions just to interrupt and talk over him. Furthermore your argument about aspirations in a college classroom should have been: "It might be looked down on at a college course if you say your aspiration is to become a housewife because college is attended with the intention of getting a career. As a father who lives in a Nordic country, I’m really amazed that to Prager, family values mean a stay at home mother and and an absentee father. Both parents can have a good work-life balance. Everybody wins, especially the kids.

The old man came there willing to talk in a civilized maner, recognizing that the other side could have valid points and counter arguments. All this clueless girl had was an hostile ariture, trying to make fun of hwr oponent and almost zero valid points. She had no interest whatsoever in finding any point of agreement. And as far as how loud or quiet someone talks or how calm they are, that is not something that I consider relevant to a debate in terms of how I see it. Greed existed long before free markets, and also exists in other economic systems. Currency/the movement of currency is not required for greed to exist. In short, you’re putting the chicken before the egg.

Free market capitalism doesn't incite anything good for the society we live in, and while yes it is part of human nature to be greedy, capitalism just opens more doors for greed to thrive, if your argument made any actual sense, you'd seem like a socialist more than anything, you just don't like the idea that capitalism is bad and as such you resort to blaming human nature, which is a rhetoric which already has been debunked many times by many different people, yet capitalists keep on trying to blame it on human nature, as if it made capitalism itself somehow less harmful to the people in it.
