feels like they are trying to make her crumble for the drama. you cant just be the better dancer, what else you can offer? as they did with the "visuals" but maybe this pushed her to choose a strange position in the 1 to 1 battle, to prove herself in the next episode. She is very mature / pro that I forgot that she is still fragile. maybe they are trying to build up a story line of superation, as she hardly had any challenge beyond lack of vocal training.
The way everyone agrees that ground creative should have won instead of iland Tells a lot they were so harsh on sujung when she was upping the standards alot
yes I also really like chaeeun and how much growth she has shown in dance, I know that's an unpopular opinion amongst western fans, but she really would be a great addition to the group
I feel like the stage outfits played a role on ground's defeat in the creative battle. I mean just look at these outfits compared to iland's outfits bro... Iland gets all these sparkly shimmery eye-catching outfits meanwhile all ground gets are white tops with black shorts like? The stage outfits also play an important part in a performance and I feel like it's just so much harder to connect with ground's performance when they look like they're just doing a dance practice and not an actual performance.
the whole jiyoon and jungeun "feud" is really annoying to me. as someone who's new to mnet survival shows i was made aware of the evil editing and it seems like jiyoon is the victim this year. jiyoon and jungeun might be friends, they might not be friends, but who the hell cares? it doesn't make either girl a villain because of it. sometimes you don't get along with everyone and that's okay, but again they might be friends or trying to be friends. i'm sure the contestants could barely hear anything with yui crying her heart out, the other girls pointed it out, but instead of showing how happy everyone was they decided to show an awkward looking jiyoon and jungeun. i know they need drama, but pitting a 16 year old against a 18 year old is weird
I think 6 was the right amount of people to leave iland, but ground DEFINITELY deserved to win the creative battle. I've gone back and rewatched their performance several times, and I NEVER rewatch survival show performcanes just for fun. And the lack of Sujung appreciation just suckssssssss. I'm also glad someone agrees that Mai's expressions are just a bit too much in that performance. Scared for thursday cuz I feel like Soul and Gyuri are getting eliminated. Also, I know most Mnet shows have 12 episodes, but sine episode 7 is a filler does that mean part 2 is gonna be shorter than part 1? Especially when you consider that most of episode 8 is probably going to be centered around the elimination, and episode 12 is just going to be a dramatic reveal of the final lineup, so we basically only have 9, 10, and 11 for team missions. Probably only 9 and 10 since 11 will probably mostly be prep for a finale mission. When you compare that to the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 that part 1 got it really makes you doubt if they're going to be leveling it up in part 2 like Mnet keeps telling us they are. Anyways, sorry for ranting, have a nice day!
Soul is definitely getting eliminated, she isn't that popular, idk about Gyuri tho. I think Jeemin, Sujung, Yuju, Lingling will stay because they are really popular, maybe Yeeun and Koko as well
I watched this entire video and literally agreed with every single part of it. That's pretty rare for me when watching these types of videos lol. I love your survival show comments they are always so interesting.
I may never get over how frustrating the judges were with the Rain On Me performances... maybe it's my inexperience or maybe it's my bias, but I still don't get what was so good about iland's performance that pushed them to win over ground's. Like, the gap between their scores should NOT be that close. Also, it's your ONE job as a judge to judge based on ONE criteria. It's okay to expect more from Sujung, but judge her as an idol trainee, not as a dancer, because ILAND 2 is an IDOL survival program.
Leejung's hypocrisy is on another level. She can do a f****** shoelace tie choreo that's also too nonsense for me but can't give a honest feedback to a trainee who is literally just a trainee of the show choreographing a whole performance alone. Leejung just lost all my respect with her comment "it was just stable". I don't know what "stable" means to her. In every episode she never fails to fangirl over mai blindly or with her open eyes I don't know. But it's really annoying to see whatever her biased trainees give she will eat all. Performer like Yui, gyuri just can't get a chance to listen some appreciation from them cause they are not "mothers" or "leaders" to their same age or 1 year old fellow trainee. Sujung's this epi is just a example of how mentally strong she is as a trainee. I hope they don't rig the voting also but can't believe them anyways. Just agreed with all your opinion.
@@kimkardashi-un2.051same! The only appealing thing she has is stage presence, while that’s a good thing, it’s the only thing she has 😅 I wish yuju won.
@@lovetahsin Yuju is much more consistent than Mai. But they wanted to show us Mai's mothering or leadership "quality" and that's the place they got content about her. But what I found is she has no personality it's all mn*t's edit credit whatever you say. Just because someone has good expression that can't really beat someone who is more good in another units as well as "stage presence/ facial expressions" Yuju is more deserving for me.
I 100% agree with your top 7! I definitely think Mai needs more training before she can debut. Don’t get me wrong I love her, but her voice is nasally and she needs to practice her breath control. Having watched episode 6 I feel like Gyuri continues to get shunned by both the audience and the producers which is frustrating because she has so much cute charisma and charm alongside her skills. Yui definitely shined in episode 6 as the center of one of the Iland groups. One person I think may definitely be a top contender especially considering her popularity is Lingling. She has many international fans that love her and she might fight her way to the top through votes alone. I can’t deny she has a strong stage presence in the most recent episodes as well. Another top contender is Bang Jeemin who will definitely debut on votes alone. So if I were to be realistic about my ideal lineup Jeemin would definitely take the spot of either Sarang or Yui. (Maybe Gyuri but my heart won’t be able to take it if she doesn’t debut) Anyways I feel like I-Land 2 is definitely pushing its stronger contestants which is a relief. I get flashbacks to Wonhee from R U Next? And I honestly think that though the spotlight is definitely unfairly distributed, the spotlight is given to the people who shine. People like Sujung, Fuko, Jungeun, and Jiyoon deserve to shine.

@miskatulmumu5785 oh yeah for sure mnet didn't plan on 9 girls leaving iland, it just sucks that the girls would have possibly felt like they didn't do well enough when, in reality, they truly did do a good job :< I hope they didn't lose confidence because of that but oh well all I can do right now is vote as much as i can for my pick😭

I agree with many of your creative unit points and you honestly changed my mind on who should’ve won but I want to point out some things. I would like to point out more is how I feel like iland seemed more like a team effort (not that that’s a bad thing on ground) but ground seemed like it was only one persons idea comparatively (even with the whole umbrella being a comment) non of this is for or against any team but honestly I feel like if it’s based on “creativity” it makes no sense because you would have to incorporate how much someone suggested creative ideas into the points which you couldn’t see on the performance. Anyway, if it was based off of creativity of individuals, I would, based on what they shown, give island a higher average then ground because only one person would have the creativity points (maybe two). Second thing I want to bring up: although I feel like ground should’ve won (shouldn’t be based off of “creativity” as in like each of the members creativeness individually like I feel it implies) iland should definitely have been given a ton of props still because they were literally doomed to fail, but didn’t give up and came up with creative ideas individually (the challenge was obviously harder for the team and they had way less experience) Sorry if some of this doesn’t make sense 😂 thanks for reading if you did
