i watched another video from someone with way more views and subs and they were speaking so fast with practically no visual aids on the screen as they hurriedly explained how to level fast. not only did you make a lot more sense, you showed us what you were talking about step by step and broke everything down so it was easy to follow and understand. for example when they spoke about macros i was still confused what macros even was but your video actually made sense as to what the function was. thank you. you deserve way more views and likes
I agree with the other comments some other videos may have some good information but they go off on tangents and make it super difficult to understand anything. They will spend 10 minutes talking about alternative links and quests and forget to show us the actual process of some of these steps. So I appreciate this guide, it’s very easy to follow and great for people just starting the crafting journey.
Buying extra mats' to make double or triple the items required for the class quests is such a huge tip. It all sells really fast and not only pays for itself but actually turns a profit. Thanks man!
I so rarely leave comments on anything I watch on YT. I've only been playing for about 6 months and am just now getting into crafting. To say I was overwhelmed is an understatement. I watched several guides. Yours was by far the easiest to understand and very pleasant to listen to. About to watch it again as I get started on this huge part of the game I've just entered. Thank you!!! Subbed.
Crafting can be quite overwhelming before starting out. I'm happy to have helped in making it clearer for you! It gets really fun the more you get into it. Thank you and good luck on your crafting journey!
I thought I had commented on this video when I started my crafting journey, but I guess not! I checked out a lot of crafting guide videos, and this is by far the best for me. The step by step instructions are very clear, and I appreciate you showing the menus with the visuals. The system is heavy and convoluted at this point, but you've made things much more simple. My crafters are all 70+ atm, and I feel like it's smooth sailing to 90 now. Thank you!
Awesome guide to help earn some gil back after the road to 90 for Omni-Gathering and CUL. Even discovered through the power of math that if the tsai on the MB is under 2600 gil per dish (I try and stay around 2000 gil) you'll make provide of around 30% to 40% in case you don't have your DoL at 90 yet. Of course gathering it yourself and selling it is still the bigger buck, but there is a MB way. :)
I leveld few classes before to 90 but wanted to see if something new added in thew way. Dude your video is insanely good trhis is what I will recomend to newbies after this point!
great video! well explained. best crafting video by far! only suggestion make the vendor and crafting windows bigger. its hard to see sometimes even full screened. (edit i had it on 480p *face palm*) but still for phone viewing and stuff, better to have bigger windows imo.
starting a twink and leveling crafters once again reminded me that - the marketbord need a funktion where you can select the number of items you wanna buy needing 3 wood for crafting and seeing only 99 stacks makes it extremely annoying
If you want to make Gil, you typically gotta figure it out yourself. But here's a tip. Convenience. People don't like doing things. They don't like grinding, farming, effort. If people have the money, they will use that money to skip as much as they can. Think... quests that require HQ crafts of certain things. Another example is, in WoW, every new expansion, or major patch that introduces new crafting materials, you can make ABSURD amounts of money just, farming those new materials and selling them. Because people will pay a ton of money just to not have to go grind it themself, and get a headstart on crafting themself.
I guess I checked the MB at the wrong time. I went down the list of the majority of the items you'd need for Restoration crafting and... well, I can't tell you if they're cheap or not because none of them are listed.
This guide is super helpful but I'm rly stuck on the lvl 58 WVR quest where you have to craft HQ crawler silk. I have mostly lvl 55 gear save for accessories since I'm not really sure what to get and never have enough CP for the macros even with the recommended foods and being lvl 61. Any tips would be appreciated!!
What level are your accessories and your primary/secondary tools? If they're low I'd just grab whatever you can with CP from ishgard accessory vendor. Then meld CP materia into the rest of your gear
@@ozario my main tool is lvl 60 and my secondary lvl 59 and I upgraded my accessories to lvl 46 - 50 and melded the highest CP materia i could to everything yet I still can't seem to get those silks at HQ it's super frustrating lol
holy fuck I spent all night to finally find this video that tells me the firmament is in the Aetheright..... This is the ONLY video I found that mentions that. I finished it back at released and could not find it again
I personally didn't use them. I'd say if you are planning to level crafter's at a more steady pace then yeah custom deliveries would be good to get done for the easy xp. The recipes are pretty easy to make I believe. Good luck!
From someone who has been leveling crafters, absolutely. Just hit 80 on all of them yesterday, gonna finish it off in the next 2 days. When I ran out of skybuilders mats or I didn't do collectibles yet, I did these. It's really fast quick XP considering you just buy the components for like 500 gil and get a ton of XP and scrips while boosting your custom delivery satisfaction level. Plus you can't even do that many per week so I'd say yeah go for it.
I never understood the point of crafting macros.... It is slower than using the skills yourself, and doesn't take advantage of condition procs. So why?
The thing is I’m trying to level up my CUL ! I need to make Sesame biscuit which needs sesame from diadem but there are no nods that shows these sesame ! Tried to google and there is nothing about it..it’s a level 10 gathering nod but where is it!?
Hmm I'm not sure exactly where the sesame would be but you could try harvesting in the most southwestern island and see if u find some there. Or if it's cheap enough, it might be quicker to get a few from the MB. Let me know how it goes!
im finding out i hate these jobs. i have been following guides all day and around lvl 60 i have just been lost. none of the macros seem to be working. i dont undsrstand the rotations to manually do it. this has all been a headache. decided to just blow gold on the collectibles in mor dohna to get scripts. the lvl 50 macro works on thebone item i picked but everything else i try it just doesnt seem to line up right for me. i cant wait until this is over.... lvl 65 and still barely know what im doing. every item i search on the macro website there are no macros for.... oh what a day this has been
Total A* guide- please make more👍. After levelling 1 crafter I’m still looking for the best way to level them (and do a few at once) and your guide is comprehensive, entertaining AND easy to understand. Subbed. Cheers!

You're the goat for this man, all crafters 1 - 50 in one day
Amazing Guide, rarely drop a comment on UA-cam, but this worth a comment. Very helpful and informative! thank you for your effort :)

Thanks for your guide. The other ones I found were so convoluted and added 100 different options which did not clarify what the best way was.
Wow. What an amazing video. I’ve just leveled my gathers to 90 and was scared to level crafting but you make it seem so much easier. Thank you
The chime at the end of the macro is a really nice touch! Always know when the job's done!
Thank you so much. Returned after a year and all skills had changed. This really helped getting back into crafting
No worries! Welcome back :)

I just want to say thank you for this. I was dredding leveling from 80 to 90. You made this super easy and quick. Much appreciated.
You are welcome! Glad to have helped ✌🏽
Thank you for speaking at a normal human pace, made the guide much easier to follow! Sometimes I have to watch guides in a slower mode lol
Thank you for this, the guide was very clear and has helped me out so much. I have everything in the 50-60 range now!
Thank you for making this video 🙏 it’s content creators like you making Eorzea a better place for all.
My pleasure! I'm happy to help :)
This is really well produced and informative. Keep up the good work!

You'll always see something strange happening in limsa, even if you're only there for 5 seconds lol!

Thanks for the guide, will the gc level 50 gear be good enough to use macros for power leveling with grade 4 crafts?
Hmm I'm not sure since grade 4 crafts are for level 70 or 80 if I'm not mistaken? The gear will be too low level for these crafts
@@ozario I’ve actually been crafting grade 4 lv.40 crafts with that gear for 50-63 leveling

how many item required for ishgard restoration from 70 to 80? i wanna gather the material but im not sure how much i need

Where do we get gear from for this expansion, where is the Armorer artifact gear.
I might have missed it but what about custom deliveries are they worth doing each week or because they are limited not bother?

I believe you need around 253-255 CP for it. If you're missing some, stone soup should help! Gl

i think there are way too many materials and without retainers, it's a freaking nightmare to manage all the items xD (still in free trial atm)
Haha yes! It can be overwhelming. I've had to purchase 2 additional retainers
