Hey, I only found y'all a couple of months and I'm bingeing like crazy to catch up. I haven't seen my children in weeks and can no longer do basic math. But it's worth it! Anyway, finally made it to the Leanne Morgan episode (Thank Sweet Jesus!) The awkward gypsy talk really took me back. I was raised by a single dad in the early 80s and threatening to SELL ME TO THE GYPSIES was one of his discipline strategies. If I didn't do my chores, etc.,he'd sell me to the gypsies. When I was about six years old, I guess I was over it. I asked him how much and when are they coming. He said, "probably about 50 bucks." I went on the porch and waited like "well, I guess this is it." I guess the chores were that bad. I'm now a wife and mom but haven't tried that strategy. I do, however, still eat over the sink. P.S. My dad is the greatest dad of all time:) KEEP IT UP THE GOOD WORK!
Having Nate struggle to read my last name was one of the greatest honors of my life. Let's GOOO! He had it right initially, and Aaron's comparison to mulligan in golf is made by every friend who's ever golfed with me. I am still wondering if Sandford, or any other academic institution for that matter, is secretly sponsoring you as long as you hold Aaron up as a picture of what an ideal Notre Dame grad ought to be

Watch Dusty zone out - 41:46 - 42:08. Hilarious. Staring up at the wall, mouth open. Him snapping out of it was my favorite part. I want to know where he went. What was he thinking?
I immediately Google'd "Dusty Slay Ted Talk" and can't stop laughing at him saying he pooped in a David's Bridal! Nate, Aaron, and Banana, you guys are killing it, and adding Dusty was a great choice!
Please keep reading comments, they’re great. Also Beluga included some wild comments today; one praising him from an outside source, one inviting you guys to a wedding, and one that says to stop reading comments. Maybe Brick should just pick better comments!
I want to thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. I recently had stomach surgery and the affects of which have given me digestion issues. My routine is to come home from work and get this podcast ready to watch after my enema. This show has become part of my bathroom regiment and I couldn’t be happier.
I want to thank Nate for singlehandedly changing the way I talk after listening to this Pod for 100+ episodes. Nowadays, at times I used to curse to express my astonishment I now say “Golly” just as Nate did 10 times in the first 25 minutes today, getting looks from others as if I just emerged from an underground pod from the 1950s.
The candy bar debacle in this episode is the greatest thing I’ve ever witnessed. I watch this podcast every week, and Aaron’s description of a 3 musketeers is by far the funniest thing I’ve heard in a while. So many hilarious and accurate descriptions. “80% air”.. “its all fluff”.. “home insulation” .. I’m crying. Thank you for this. It made my day. Keep it up! Also, just got tickets to see Dusty in Toledo, OH in July with my brothers and our wives. Can’t wait!
Just got out off the Marine Corps this week after 8 1/2+ years, my wife and I are moving to Nashville in like 55 days (neither of us has ever been) , can’t wait to hopefully catch some of your guys local shows!
I can’t believe I podcasted the first 100 episodes and missed out on all of the little gestures and Aaron’s silent laughs. This is an entirely new experience and has opened my eyes to so much. Guess I’ll have to start at the beginning and listen through again!
fun story, related to Dustin's thing about being ready to perform. During a live concert n the 1970's, the drummer for British rock band The Who collapsed on stage due to drug use. So the guitarist asked if anyone in the audience could play drums. Some random guy from the crowd named Scott Haplin came up, sat at the drums, and finished the set with the band.
Just before New Years, I had my neck cut open by a skate in a hockey game in Sweden. Doctors were quick on the scene to save my life. I returned home shortly after to start therapy and to be around loved ones. Recently, I got to see Nate in Calgary and I have to say it was THE best time I’ve had since the injury. I’ve never laughed so hard. A night I will never forget. Thank you Nate for your comedy.
This podcast is perfect. After nearly an hour of discussing peer reviews, government coverups of UFOs, and other serious topics, the first explosion of enthusiasm from the panel occurs when Nate claims the Milky Way candy bar is terrible. Keep up the good work, folks.
Aaron's adament love for Milky Way candy was the best, quickly followed by Nate saying he's not sure he's ever actually eaten one! Best 5 minute rabbit trail off the topic 🤣 Thanks so much for making me laugh and making Wednesday my favorite day!
Jen Weiss here- as the former host of a failed podcast, I would like to say I’m very pleased that you changed the full screen comments to the comment being shown in the lower 3rd of the screen. I was going to send Brian a long email but I forgot about it, because let’s face it- does it really matter? I simply did not want to miss the look of tear sherror on Nate’s face when the words “get away from him”. The fact that I merely had to think my comment and my feedback was applied is proof that Nateland is the greatest land. I guess I’m back to writing my comments in, Brian, since I no longer have a 1 hour episode devoted to my opinion on Nateland. Keep up the great work, folks!
Catalin Jurnalov Hello Folks. Finally caught up after listening to all the episodes! So glad you added Dusty! There’s just so much that comes to mind right now, but I want to thank Nate for coming to KSR bar in Lexington I guess over an year ago and being on KSR with Matt Jones. I’ve been listening ever since. Bates Motel, congratulations on Eleanor! Get together with Jase Robertson, from Duck Dynasty and the Unashamed podcast. He started a foundation for cleft lip/palate kids, the Mia Mu foundation. You should definitely be on the Unashamed podcast with him. It will grow you both. Keep loving each other men, and adding fun to our lives each week.
Dusty is a great addition, I find "all right" and "were havin a good time" slowly creeping into my regular dialog.. its becoming my new "hello folks/ let's go folks". Only ppl just kinda just look at me strange when I randomly drift into a deep southern accent for a phrase-and-a-half.. living in the north east only confuses things more
I understand Aaron's irrational fear of being called out at a concert. I was at a Green Day concert in a 20,000-seat arena. They got to a point in the show where they begin to assemble a completely new band from the crowd. They call out for a new drummer, bassist, and guitarist. They always do this for a simple cover song they perform called "Knowledge". The guitar parts are three chords and the drum beat is fairly simpleand they even show you how to play it just in case. Once each new band member is comfortable with their part, the lead singer will sing the song with his new crowdsourced band. It is very cool! When he called out for a guitarist, I raised my hand because I knew how to play this song already and thought it would be a cool story to tell if I was selected to play on stage with Green Day. Imagine my shock when Billie Joe Armstrong looked in my general direction and said "You!". My heart was racing when I pointed at myself in disbelief and said "Me?!" and began to move toward the stage. Then he said, "No not you, HER!" and chose a girl two rows in front of me to play the song. Truthfully I was more relieved than disappointed. The girl did a great job and I got to have a short, long-distance conversation with a punk rock legend.
Hello Folks! This is my favorite podcast! I would love it if one day you guys would switch roles. For example: Worried Breakfast reads the comments. Mr. Gout jokes about them (since he’s always laughing at Nate). Forgetze has the laptop. I think it would be really hilarious seeing Nate Google things. Love from Miami ❤️🔥 -Ely
You absolutely can touch a moon rock at Kennedy Space Center. Its from the Apollo 17 mission. We were there in March. I put the pic on the Nateland page. As always... thanks for the laughs on a Wednesday! PS The addition of Dusty.. is GOLD Jerry Pure Gold!
Very busy at work so haven't watched this yet, but I can already tell "Dusty" will "Slay" this episode......I was actually gonna ask ya'll to do another Alien episode with the addition of good ole Dusty. Ya'll are ahead of the curve.
My husband and I saw Nate in Edmonton, Alberta, last Saturday and it was amazing! We laughed from the beginning to the end! Literally, the greatest comedian EVER!
I had the same situation happen as Aaron. I won a contest to throw out the first pitch at the 2017 World Series. They had a second person who was also throwing out the pitch after me...her name, Rachel Robinson (Jackie's wife). Not a single person in the stadium clapped for me. They probably thought I was going up there to test the mound out for her.
I love that you guys throw in Seinfeld references. It is pure comedy gold and so relatable to everyday life. I want to know who each of your favorite character is from the show?
I like how nobody trusts the guy with gout when it comes to what candy bar is the best. Also Aarons outburst when Nate puts down Milky Way candy bars could’ve been heard on that scientists instruments that listens to space. Keep it up, love the podcast.
We saw Barnacle and Dusty at Stand Up Live in Huntsville. After the late show, my partner started to question if Dusty used a stage name. After watching every Nateland (and Aaronland) podcast, I took the stance that Dusty did not change his name for comedy. After a few minutes of classic Nateland uneducated guessing and arguing, I distracted my partner with Dusty's Nascar picture story. Telling him how Dusty posted a picture and his fans found themselves in the background. It worked! I am glad that I can rehash this argument by proving that my stance was correct. We really did have a good time! Thank you for coming to Huntsville!
Traveling back home from our family vacation in Mexico, sitting in the Denver airport and I feel compelled to issue a travel advisory for Dusty. Cancun Mexico has the loosest, most stretched out plugs we’ve ever experienced. Phone and iPad charging for a family of 5 was a nightmare. Not a snug plug in sight!!
There was so much going on in Aliens part 2, that Nate was able to throw away "We could bite the aliens" and nobody said a thing. Let's save that for Aliens part 3! Thank you for the spit takes! Katie from Brooklyn.
I’m the pastor of the guy who invented skittles (the first batch ever made was in his kitchen). He also helped invent snickers. Needless to say, I get lots of candy.
Hey Nate, Aaron, Dusty, and Blue cheese broil. The best reads are the ones that deal with licenses. License is definitely a word Nate never finishes. Curious to know why the S in license isn't worthy of pronunciation.
Based on Nate’s disapproval of the Milky Way and Aaron’s even more dramatic reaction, we clearly need a “candy” episode where the guys all taste out different candy bars and rate them. The history channel has a great program “The Food That Built America” that explains where a lot of the candy companies came from. Tell Billy Bonka to do his research while watching that so we can enjoy watching the 4 of you argue over which candy is the best. Also, when does Dusty get promoted to an ad-reader? Love the podcast and the constant comedic joy it brings all of us.
Hello folks! The strory of the red orb floating over the Air Force base sent shivers down my spine as it reminded me of the night me and a friend of mine saw a green orb float down into his backyard and hover around before shooting into the air and disappearing. It was around midnight and I'd say the orb was close in size to a beach ball. My friend was basically frozen in fear and refused to talk about it at the time. This was 7 years ago and still gives me goosebumps when it comes up. I pay close attention to the sky now at night hoping to see something else.
Not that I think Nateland was lacking anything but Dusty is exactly what was missing.. Especially with an episode like this one talking about aliens. Dusty is exactly the kind of guy sent by a secret government agency to greet a race of highly intelligent, interstellar, space-faring alien species with nothing but a pair of ol cut off jean shorts on and report back to them saying "we're having a good time".
Breakfast just brings it ALL into perspective. Such an ASSET to the show. The Sauce on the BIGMAC!👌 Nate="The Top bun".....Dusty="The Cheese".... Aaron="That middle bread", I dont always have to have it...But they all make for a great sandwich.🤷♀️🍔
I have been an avid listener of the podcast for sometime. My mom and I are traveling from Knoxville, TN down through Texas, I knew she would enjoy the podcast since we saw Nate in Knoxville in April. I have laughed just as hard on the second time threw as I did the first! Yes, I get “Costanza like the guy from Seinfeld?” ALL THE TIME. (It ends with an O and not and A)
Aaron is so correct on the MilkyWay being the #1 candy bar. Me and my 2 friends from Sunday school called ourselves the 3 MilkyWays because we enjoyed it so much more than a 3 musketeers.
I've never been more in line with Aaron. His opinions on chocolate are spot on! Milky Ways are by and far the #1 mainstream chocolate bar. And butterfingers are the best milkshakes mix in! Simple as that. The fact that he was the only one at the table who thought that is so surprising. Aaron, I peer reviewed your findings on chocolate, and I approve.
Off topic but it’s time to refill the sour patch kids box behind breakfast. Love the podcast, listen to it everyday. My husband and I will be at your show in Paso Robles, California this weekend!
If you guys could.. The audio at the very end of the podcast (where Nate says him and his wife produce the show) is peaking, and needs to be lowered in the mixing. Aside from that- I love every other second of every pod!
Nate, As I listen to the podcast on Spotify, I've noticed that Aaron's laugh in the background sounds a lot like Muttley, the cartoon dog. They kind of favor each other too. What do you think? Love the podcast! Jeff
On what Brian just said about ‘most of this isn’t accurate but if you act like you know what you’re talking about…’. A read a quote years ago and it’s stuck with me throughout life “You don’t have to be right, you just have to be convincing.”
You could call the comment portion of your show “a word from you and our sponsors” or “a few words from the audience, and some ads” so people know exactly what’s happening, cause I got confused at first and missed comments early on.
My husband works for Mars (the candy company, not planet!) and I know way more about candy than I thought possible. Let me tell you, a warm snickers hot off the line is amazing. But, I do have to agree with Aaron. Milky Way trumps them all. Love your podcast and thanks for the weekly laughs. If you ever want to know the ins and outs of candy bars, I’m sure my husband would love to dive deep into this 🤣 maybe an episode idea?
Hello folks.. ET is a great alien movie!! And don't forget we were introduced to Reese's pieces in that movie. A podcast on candy bars or just all kinds of candy would be awesome. Milky Ways are one of my favorites but gotta say Clark bars and Mallow cups are close seconds. Love listening to you guys!!!!
What a perfect example of this podcast alright folks today we are doing aliens part 2… 30 mins later and we still don’t know which candy bar is the best
Nate, batesman, Aaron and Dusty should spend a night in the dessert somewhere to look at the milky way. There are apps you can get on your phone that uses the camera to locate constellations and even other planets. I think the beauty alone and the feeling of like you're in space will bring a whole new perspective of the entire universe.
I finally found someone else who says “mirror” like “mirra”! My family doesn’t mention it since they’re just used to it, but all my college friends would give me the hardest time for how I said certain words with my accent (ice, water, lightning, and a bunch more). I went to a college in bama (where I’m from), but somehow my accent was still pointed out by people from northern Alabama & Georgia. Extra love to Dusty!
Nate having to slow down his pronunciation of “WWE” in the comments really lays the foundation of my affection for him and this podcast. Also, I remember not long ago at all that Batboy had no idea what a “heel” was but now he says it every time wrestling is brought up. Classic old man move, Buford.
Aaron talking about candy bars was like a dad talking about his kids. “This one is (insert criticism)” then followed by “oh yeah, I absolutely love them, they’re the best!” Love ya folks! #blandismyfavorite
Aaron's passion about milky way had me picturing him slamming the door in some trick or treaters faces after getting into a heated debate about the top candy bars (imagine the scene from billy madison and the mortal kombat vs donkey kong argument) I love this podcast, love the addition of Dusty; I was able to see him when he came through Omaha a couple months ago and it was one of my favorite comedy shows i've been to. I try to dabble in local comedy and I avidly listen to Nate's comedy albums repeatedly to get me in the right mindset before any writing or shows i do. i admire his low-key temperament and his ability to take the simplest every day occurrences and make them into hilarious jokes.
Reading the comment "Stop Reading Comments" is comedy gold that was handpicked by the under appreciated hero of the podcast, Butterfinger.
Having Nate struggle to read my last name was one of the greatest honors of my life. Let's GOOO! He had it right initially, and Aaron's comparison to mulligan in golf is made by every friend who's ever golfed with me. I am still wondering if Sandford, or any other academic institution for that matter, is secretly sponsoring you as long as you hold Aaron up as a picture of what an ideal Notre Dame grad ought to be
Congrats Chuck! It was unbelievable. Let’s go Folks!
I loved the reaction when everyone thought that Dusty cussed. "No, ship with a P."

I spit out my ramen when Nate said “well I’m not gonna know Aristotle by his government name” Ohhhhhh Nate, you simple simple hilarious man.

He was obviously being channeled by aliens 🤣

You three should do a Scientology episode. Would love to see Nate’s reaction.
The Fourth Kind is a good alien movie to check out
I have been an avid listener of the podcast for sometime. (It ends with an O and not and A)
I’m SO game for a candy bar episode. Now THIS is podcasting
“Genesis 6.” Clutch.
I love Dusty. This Pod is awesome.
Whenever Aaronland starts/ends you should do short intro/out to music and and an “Aaronland” logo, with Aaron saying “now back to Nateland.”
Nate,
As I listen to the podcast on Spotify, I've noticed that Aaron's laugh in the background sounds a lot like Muttley, the cartoon dog.
Aaronland, the show within the show.
Nate needs to do a Podcast tour again but promote Nateland this time. I know its a lot of work but you would blow this pod up if you did it!
I'm with Aaron on this one, folks. MilkyWay is absolutely the superior candy bar on the market. LETS GO!
You could call the comment portion of your show “a word from you and our sponsors” or “a few words from the audience, and some ads” so people know exactly what’s happening, cause I got confused at first and missed comments early on.
Nate, you were thinking District 9. Great movie
This was one of the funniest episodes. Loved it start to finish!
My wedding was in a bar, not even joking! Love the Podcast guys keep it up.
Mine too. ✋🏼. & my wife’s too
helllller folks
Hello folks.. ET is a great alien movie!! And don't forget we were introduced to Reese's pieces in that movie. A podcast on candy bars or just all kinds of candy would be awesome. Milky Ways are one of my favorites but gotta say Clark bars and Mallow cups are close seconds. Love listening to you guys!!!!
highly underrated candy bars: 5th Avenue and Zagnut
My 16 year old daughter hasn’t seen the first Top Gun and she’s seen Maverick twice! It’s an absolute amazing movie!
Y’all had a whole Tom Cruz segment
Aarons got some opinions about candy bars. Real passionate.
Please do a show on Natural Flavors, including the history of beaver glands.
you go Bates!!!! awesome
I hear ya, Nate. I see your point, but I just can’t get behind Tom Cruise movies. 😂
this podcast has introduced me to the salted caramel milky way and i will be forever grateful
