I don't have any friends who crochet so, since I fake knowing what I'm doing half the time, no one around me has any idea it's probably wrong! Lucky me! I 💖 that you also fake it from time to time and laughed throughout this video with you! 🙃
I love the color of your sleeves with the black. Also, just out of curiosity, I looked to see if there was a decrease for a granny stitch online, and they did it exactly like you did! It makes sense to me! Thanks for showing how the sleeve goes. Hugs! 🥰
I love your granny cluster decrease! I looked at several different versions and I like yours the best! I also decided to decrease my sleeves every third row. I am very happy to find your channel. God bless you!
Hi Hun I love the colors in your granny stitch sweater. Hope all went well with the home nurse , up here we call them Home Health Aids. We have a snow storm going on up here . We are all fine . Take care
I am so happy that I found you on you tube tonight, because I love crotchet work and thank you for showing how to decrease because I dont have any body whow love it like I do. Hope you are feeling betet soon. May you be blessed to show us more of your awesome work. Love all the way from south africa. Lots of love and good blessings.❤❤❤😊❤😊
Good morning, your sweater is beautiful. I have been making socks like the ones you made , My feet are small so I used a smaller size hook. Then my husband wanted a pair. Using a larger hook I made him a pair using a larger hook. They both turned out. You are a blessing, I have alot of chronic illness. Plus early alzheimer's. I have been crocheting now for some time now. Thank you. It does my brain good. I write everything down.
Wow. I love those colors together. I’m not saying this to be mean, but, I never thought I would be learning to crochet from someone with only 4 fingers. Thank you for brightening my day
There are so many ways to tweak crochet stitches as long as it works for you and you like how it looks thats all that matters. I'm still knee deep in granny squares for a scrappy cardi I'm making. Hopefully soon, I'll be thigh deep and this scrap busting project will be over! 😅
Hi Kayla. I think that the way you are decreasing is correct. You might be able to decrease every other row. When your sleeves are finished, and you border the neck, you could also decrease there as well, to make it more fitted and not look so baggy. Even if you just decreased on the front and not the back, several decreases across. It is looking beautiful. You could put a draw string cord at the waist, or bottom even. I am sure that it will be lovely. Love, Audrey. ❤️🇨🇦🧶😘
Another creator said that any comment, even just an emoji, helps their channel, so when I don’t have anything good to say I leave hearts everywhere for support. ❤❤❤
The way you decreased would have been the way I would have done. I am no expert but when I thought about I thought what you did. Really love those sleeves with the black.
Another possibility could be to keep on making granny clusters without the chain one in between, but clusters of two double crochets instead of three. Might that work? In other words, on first decrease round, eliminate chain ones. On second decrease round, eliminate one dc from each cluster.
I'm 7 years older than you and I haven't lost much but as I get older I tend to wear sweaters more often. Can't wait to see this done, I thought from the beginning that it looked to big for you.
You tickle me SO MUCH, Kayla! 🥰😂🥰. And great job on figuring that out - big applause!! I had voted for the Parrot 🦜 Stripe, but those colors look so beautiful together! You seem like you feel a bit better today and your hands look warmer. I pray that they ARE. Hugs and loves 💝
Oh thank you so much! I just learned to decrease granny stitch like this, but the video that showed me didn't tell me what to do in the next row, I didn't know if you skipped over the decrease, now I know thanks to you! 💖💖💖
This is clearest explanation of decreasing granny clusters I've been able to find. Was looking for a method to decrease to make a cushion cover, the cushion is slightly tapered though. Thank you!
Hi Kayla it's Sandy from Austin. You know I've always wanted to make the campfire cardigan but I don't like the sleeves. So now I'm gonna make it and use your decrease. That's awesome. I just got home and was happy to see you've posted video. I'll let you know how it turns out. Big hugs. God bless.
That Fruity color looks amazing with the black. Whatever works for you is correct, is what I always say, lol. Looking forward to seeing your finished creation.♥🧶
Great idea. That’s how I would’ve done it. It’s kind of hard to decrees on a granny square stitch, but keep up the good work it’s a beautiful day to crochet.
The color choice was great alongside the black body of the cardigan. The decrease is good. I've never done one with a granny square. It is not noticeable, and if it works for you, that is all that matters. Doing it at the armpit was the perfect solution for where it should be. I am anxiously waiting to see it finished with you modeling it. It will be a showstopper for sure. I pray that your health will improve so you can have better days than bad ones. Hugs and love to you and Jody. 🤗😇🥰
Hi Kayla, I’m sure your sweater will be fine. It will keep you nice and warm, and after you wash it, it will soften up and drape the way you want it to. It’s beautiful 😍
Yay! I love the color that won it looks beautiful with the black yarn. It really makes it pop. I am going to have to get me some of that same color yarn. I hope that you are feeling better today. Thanks for showing us on how you are decreasing.
Your decrease looks awesome!! If the sweater was to big, you should of took off some of the black part.. and then try the black on before making sleeves.. it's beautiful tho.. please model your sweater for us❤️
Hii LLAMA MAMA 👋 I sometimes make things up on the fly myself, and they come out just as good, if not BETTER than the tutorials lol!! I love that you encouraged your viewers not to be afraid to try something new😉 Love your show! You're always so easy goin that you make me feel like I'm a visitor at your home 🏡 ☺️ Keep on intriguing me! Your friend, Ms. Heart ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘
love the colors!! Hey whatever works, I do the same thing lol. If someone is gonna look that close and point it out and complain about it, they don't need it in the first place. lol 😘❤😊
Thank you so much for this!! I'm not putting a sleeve cuff on my granny stitch cardigan, but I want it to look kind of groovy and 70s. The sleeve is so big though! This helped a lot.
Well, Kayla, I did almost exact same thing I just did two partials in each each spot and then put them all together. That’s what we do we make it up as we go. That sweater is going to be gorgeous. Love that color with the black. thanks for sharing. Have a great day.
The bell sleeves was such a good idea. So sorry it it didn't work for you, but it may be because the yarn is so thick that it doesn't drape well. I love how omitting the chain and also decreasing the dc stitches narrowed the sleeve. I am going to use this method for my mine. Thanks so much for that great suggestion and demo 🥰
Thank you thank you thank you for posting this!!! I am in the exact same situation and not liking the balloon sleeves that are so in now. I’m so grateful to have this information. I’m going to try it. Thanks!!!
Beautiful colors against the black! You did an awesome tutorial. Thank you!
Kayla, you know what Jennifer is always saying, you do you, what ever works for you do it's your project.
I don't have any friends who crochet so, since I fake knowing what I'm doing half the time, no one around me has any idea it's probably wrong! Lucky me! I 💖 that you also fake it from time to time and laughed throughout this video with you! 🙃

Are you feeling better? Did your hands warmed up? You are a God send. You don’t even know the impact you have on people. I pray for you ❤
The sleeves really pop and go really well with the black. I love it, Kayla!
My mama used to say when clothes were too big for her that it looked like she was wearing a tent 😂
Wow. I love those colors together. I’m not saying this to be mean, but, I never thought I would be learning to crochet from someone with only 4 fingers. Thank you for brightening my day

I'm glad you picked #2. It really pops!
I knew that sleeve yarn would be excellent with the black. I tend to want long sleeves which I can roll up if needed. I understand getting cold!
The way you decreased would have been the way I would have done. I am no expert but when I thought about I thought what you did. Really love those sleeves with the black.
Your sweater is beautiful I love the colors on the sleeves. I hope your feeling better today & warm.

I'm sure you'll be much happier with your sweater! Good job coming up with a solution!
I don't think I ever decreased on a granny square either. Looks good to me!

I'm 7 years older than you and I haven't lost much but as I get older I tend to wear sweaters more often. Can't wait to see this done, I thought from the beginning that it looked to big for you.
