Happy to see you again 🎉
🙏 Thank you for teaching me this. 🤗 Yay! My first garment.👏🏻🤞🏻 Off to the races!🏃🏻♀️
Awesome! Garments are my fave! Hope you enjoy. :)
Thank you for this tutorial
Recently finished this pattern, minus the hood, and it is Great! Thank you for sharing this pattern. I also went to the website and bookmarked it for the next time I make your pattern.
Very nice pattern 👌
Thank you!❤
Thank you
Any tips on the hood? As in for all of it lol
Can you clarify the discrepancy between the video and written instructions on your website? In the video you turn but the instructions say not to turn... I have two hexagons but I turned. Am I ok to continue?
You can turn or not, it's your choice, It depends on how do you like the resault more
Love it! Great instruction. The sleeves are just what I am interested in.. is there info on the sleeves... I like how they are tapered
Yeah, you can check out how the sleeves are created in this section of the free pattern: makeanddocrew.com/campfire-cardigan-free-crochet-sweater-pattern-part-2/
@@makedocrew1717 I'm looking through this thread if you've provided info on the hood. If you see this - can you point me in the right direction please? Thanks!
Is there a video about the pockets please
If I buy the pattern do I get the cuff and bottom cuff instructions and hood ??
This was awesome, tried for the first time, does the tutorial come with hood?
She is using Color Theory yarn from Lionbrand. So I think she’s using a 6mm hook for the body. And a 5.5mm hook for the trim.
Actually, she is using a K/10 hook. I wondered as well.
Thank you so much! I was following the written pattern and was confused on the gague and how she was getting these measurements when in the pattern materials list it’s listed as 8 mm hook
Do you have a video showing me how to make the hood?
I was just looking for info on a hood! I'll let you know if I find anything --👍
I must have missed it somewhere. Exactly how much yarn (yardage) was used for the S/M cardigan?
Thank you for this free pattern, in the video no pockets instructions? I want to make pockets, is this incl in the buy pattern?
Sorry i did not Watch the video ok, i see you explane the pockets 🫣
Am I confused? The pattern I bought and this video don't match up no does the website link. Do I work in rounds or in turns?
I agree. The pattern on the website doesn't match this tutorial
@@aminaabbasi394 I agree, she also starts with a magic ring instead of a chain 4 like in her written
I'm confused, the written pattern says not to turn after each round but in the video, you say to turn. Thanks for your help!
Yes her website notes say Not to Turn 🤔
I found the answer in one of the videos, the first or second. She said that she wanted the rows that are added for length to match the rest, up to individual preference.
What hook size is that? Can I use DK instead of worsted weight yarn?
And the hood ???😊
I bought the camp fire PDF pattern but it doesn’t match up with your video. It has you start with ch 4 instead of a MC. Then it doesn’t tell you to turn after your ch 3. Is there a reason why they don’t match up?
I’m now on my second hexagon cardigan. I joined a group on Facebook before tackling the project myself. From what I have read both are up to personal preference. Not sure why the video and written pattern wouldn’t match up though. I prefer to chain 4 verses using a magical circle. As far as turning to alternate right side and wrong side it is totally up to the look you are wanting to achieve. I turned with my first, and continued to do so with my second. I like that you can chain three to start on your first cluster. Instead of chaining four to start your first double crochet plus the chain one space. I hope some of that makes sense!
@@leahbogart6970 Do you mind me asking if you've seen anything about working up the hood? Thanks --
Can you do this with variegated yarn. Cause I'm a lazy and don't like to change colors.
yes! this is the patterns i’m following and i’m using a variegated yarn. i’m not turning at the end of rows, i’m just working in the round.
I'm sure I missed it somewhere, but what size hook do you suggest for this?
Always depends on the yarn you're using but I'm guessing she's using one between 3-4 millimeters:)
What size hook?
What size hook did you use
Wondering too, the pattern says 8 but that seems much bigger than what she is using in the video
If you pause the video and zoom in you can see she is using K/10.
Why do you turn your work ?It’s the first time I see this.
If someone know of a better tutorial please let me know the explanation here are very vague
Bag of day
Unique stitch designs does a very clear video if you're ok with accents as she has a Spanish accent.
This is the tutorial for the hexagon base, check for her five other videos that will cover the other stages of construction for the cardigan.
Search craft and a cuppa..brilliant videos!

For someone who's not used to how you write your patterns, your free patterns and otherwise are out of order and A LOT of Talk. Not to mention the confusion between which "Paid pattern" will lead us to the correct end result.
Please try to "Number" your videos to avoid confusion. Thanks 😊
Thanks for the 'heads up'. I'm just starting looking at a variety of vloggers, so I appreciate your input. 😊
This is a bad tutorial. You never finished the piece. People, there are BETTER tutorials out there that show how to complete this jacket. Smh... you were doing well until the end. Also, you do not have to turn at every round. You can just slip into the next chain 3 space. I think it looks like a cleaner join. You crochet very well however, you need work on your tutorials.
The turning is for when you want to add length and you want that to look the same as the rest of the cardigan. (Because when you add length you will go back and forward, which looks the same as when you turn after each round of the hexagon)
There are 5 videos that all show start to finish.
