It’s so crazy that this is the topic you decided to talk about because recently I’ve been feeling like im changing and its been slightly overwhelming. I’m 20 and so many new things are happening in my life but I haven’t really processed that fact that I’m way past high school, way past my younger self era, and it’s just so fun that we are discovering who we are in our 20s together. I love you forever!

Growing up as a woman is incredible, we know ourselves better, are free to create our ideal vision of life, which is less accessible when we're teenagers, because we live under our parents' roof therefore we lack not only maturity but also perspective on life :)

Oh my gosh, I love this topic. I have felt like I have been in limbo with becoming a woman and still feeling like a girl. I am 25 now, but I have always been working on becoming my best self since a very young age. However, life sent a lot of curve balls my way that made it difficult to follow what I thought was the right path and timeline. I have learned now that we all have different timelines, and just because we grow up a lot in one area doesn't mean we have to grow up in every area. It's okay to be a woman at work and in some relationships while still being a girl at home and with the right people. It's all about learning balance and boundaries and being okay with where you are at and the things you have learned. Everyone's journey is different and just as unique as they are.

fern this was such a wonderful episode, and such perfect timing! the first half I was thinking to myself she must've been inspired by the barbie movie, how interesting that was how you already were talking about that topic back in June!! I love how we all have been valuing girlhood and womanhood and you Fernanda are one of my biggest inspirations, you truly inspire me to prioritize my self care, and express my creative and happy side. I truly feel connected to you, as I am a libra as well and I just relate so much to you. thank you for this amazing podcast, for further inspiring women or anyone listening even more. 💖💖💖💖💖

Girl hearing this has really helped me process how I feel about being 20! I just turned 20 and I have been struggling with my personal growth as a young adult and getting out of that phase that has kept me from elevating myself. This talk has helped me realize that I need to give myself grace for my teen years and move past the things that were from my teen years. I’m learning to let go of old baggage and place myself into a new era where I embrace my growth and let my 20s be a “do over” similar to what you said about rebranding. I’m not sad of letting it go I just don’t know where to go now, like I struggle with finding my style as a young adult and things that may seem small to others like my go to everyday makeup! I’m glad you made this because it’s given me an opportunity to self reflect and move forward! thank you 🩷

Im also neurodivergent so it’s extra hard for me. I got this though! We got this!

first off, i wanna say thank you so much for this episode! im super grateful and proud to say that, as you are a public figure and influencer, i call you my role model:), not only because you are a bit older than me, but it’s just the way on how you embrace your energy and personality. i didn’t know how much i’ve needed this episode til now. you are literally the only podcast host that i watch😭, and i have to admit, i’ve only been watching your main channel for maybe the past year and a half now? but in that past year, you have helped me grow so much, mostly mentally. i can’t imagine how my life would be rn if i haven’t started watching you🩷 you truly are a queen, Fern! i feel so connected to you even tho idk you personally and we haven’t met in person, but i hope i get to one day! your friends (and everyone in your life) are so blessed to have you, they deserve you and you deserve them:) im so sorry for my long ass comment lols. but im thankful to call you my favorite youtuber and i love you so so much, you have no idea🩷🩷

I’m literally excited every Thursday morning (European time) to watch your podcast. Every time I feel like I’m in a bad head space you help me get over it. Can you maybe do a video about the right mindset as a content creator? Like how to believe in yourself more and keep crafting instead of looking at others. As a streamer I feel so judged by other streamers sometimes for my numbers etc. And that keeps me from staying creative.

11:50 was so spot on. i find myself constantly looking back at pictures of myself from when i was literally 14/15 and wonder why i don’t look the same. i felt so much more confident in myself then & it really makes me struggle so much more now. putting on jeans that used to fit me like a glove & now i can’t even get past my legs. my size changing has really effected me mentally and just has made me feel like i’m so big. but reality is, i’m just growing. i’m not going to stay the same little size forever. i feel like a lot of women can relate to this feeling & i hope you guys know you are not alone in it! we are all just growing and changing and there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that. thank you for making that comment fern 🤍 u really made me open my eyes up a bit more

we’re happy and excited to see you grow and experience life, but I think some of us are a bit worried that youll be sucked up in the influencer world and become like everybody else- which is still understandable. When brands come to you and offer you what sounds like a dream life it’s hard to turn down, but nevertheless, it’s also why a lot of UA-camrs fall off and are no longer interesting i.e. Emma Chamberlain. what’s sad is most girls throw away all of their innocence and their old life away for a life that is lonely and extremely damning to one’s soul.
    best of luck!❤

I don't think I can ask this really but what actually makes you a full woman (no I'm not talking about trans stuff) but like, is having my period making me a woman, or anything else I really don't know! Does it happen when you turn 18, I'm asking as a 13 year old so I know that I'm not old in the slightest but I just don't know. I was forced to grow up mature and sadly sexual so I don't know what the difference between being a woman and being a girl

Teenhood is overrated also putting any date on a “prime” is not cool. Everyone is on their own path and has their own timeline. I feel telling everyone the best years of their life is a certain time pushes social pressure and makes people feel worse who are having a hard time and think this is the best years and it’ll only get worse. Also feel unsuccessful and that they’re missing out. Or pressuring people to do things out of social pressure not because they actually want to.

When I was buying snacks for the Barbie movie three women that were in her 50s were giggling and being silly and that caught my attention. But when I saw that every single one had something pink I couldn´t stay quiet cause I´m the type of person that when I see something that is pretty to me, I say it, no matter if they are strangers. So I asked them if they were gonna see the Barbie movie and that their outfits were fire and they asked me and my friends to take a photo, I took the phone and they all said "no but let´s all take it together". Then in the movie when Barbie tells the older woman "you´re beautiful" as soon as she saw her, I cried. Cause to me that is one of the pilars of being a woman. Won´t forget that memory, it really screams sisterhood :)

The barbie movie reminded me SO MUCH of manifestelle's channel, who talks a lot about stepping into your feminine energy and being a girls' girl even with having negative interactions with other women and honestly just touches on everything you touched on in this one video. I'm 18 and it's been amazingly helpful in helping me move from my high school years (which were online for the last couple years) into getting a job and finding friends and choosing a partner all in a way that allows me to relax into my feminine energy and feel safer. I just thought I'd share since it might help some people watching, or even Fern herself, since we're all here trying to navigate this weird and beautiful thing we call being a woman and it's helped me a whole bunch. Much love, as always, loved the episode and the barbie talk and the passion in the beginning

I'm 19 going 20 all my life I've been wanting to grow up now I realise we never stop growing up, evolving, re-branding, & that it's not bad to sometimes be more "childish" or "grown up" cuz there's no way of being one way or another, I've been going through stuff on my personal friendships how I view them what people I want close etc, & I've been only watching u & wizard Liz, Tam Kaur, Alessia cuz those are the type of women I want to become & sometimes you'll find people older than u that u thought u could rely on & find out they're not the right person to get advice! To all the beautiful girls out there that feel lost no matter the age u don't have to be a certain size, have only one style have X type of personality what makes us human is the constant transformation we go through! Much love we'll find our paths❤

The way I knew this episode was inspired by the barbie movie. I absolutely loved the movie, it really hit home. It healed my inner child, I felt like I was 6 again. What an experience it was, whole time sitting in the theatre I was like "oh how I love being a woman". Also loved this episode so much, it's such an interesting topic to discuss about. Honestly it's so heartbreaking to see women bring down women, we've just got each other we gotta stick close and root for each other. I'm always a girls' girl. I love my girls so much. Everyone needs to watch this movie, I've been seeing so many people saying that the movie was antimen but they literally missed the whole point of the movie. Even though everything was so called perfect in the barbieland shit went down which proves that both of the extremes can be harmful. We women and men gotta thrive together and respect each other equally

Fern this episode was very inspirational!
I‘m a 35years content creator (have been working in the field for 12 years) and it was SO interesting to listen to someone that is in this phase right now. I think it was harder for you, as many people have those lovely carefree university years to segway into adulthood. You went directly to a dream career most dont have even after university. You have to deal with so much stress and objectification every day, still you keep being so motivated and positive. Enjoy those transition years, the 20ies will be the best years of your life.
Being 35, it is really hard being a content creator where everyone around you seems so young and perfect, but in the end no matter how old you are: Always be proud of yourself and love yourself ❤

LOVED this episode Fern ❤ I'm 16 and I find this topic so interesting! Your take on maturing has made me more excited to get older and experience new things, while enjoying the present moment too ofc! 💕💕

✨️✨️Document your journey and document your process and be proud of it ,and not look back at any stage of your life in like kind of cringe at it cuz that was the best that you could do with the knowledge that you had at that time ✨️✨️🪻

I’m turning 19 in 3 months and everything I’ve been through in the past 2 years has opened my eyes from me being wild at 17 and drinking every weekend to now being a mother and actually having to grow up I love it because now I think logically and actually think before I do anything I feel like a women I’ve changed and grown up so much already and I am so proud

Omg I was just thinking about this! I’m 22 and realizing how my transition from girlhood to womanhood is a bit tougher than I thought but I know it’ll be worth trying to become the woman I want to be rather than not trying at all. This journey will be the best thing that’s happened to us that are trying ❤

There is two quotes I LOVEEE:
    1. “Today is the oldest you've ever been, and the youngest you'll ever be again.” ― Eleanor Roosevelt
    2. “Do not complain about growing old. It is a privilege denied to many.” - Mark Twain
As 26 y/oftentime catch myself in thinking about past and time when I was teenager. It was amazing, but now is even better - life is blessing.
Love your podcast, keep going girl!! 💗

You are an example of beauty with brain. I don't care about your IQ. You are so emotional intelligent. I grew up as an only child. I don't really have friends or family who will support me emotionally. You are my truly internet big sister. I learn a lot from you. Your family and friend would be so lucky to have you in their life. Stay healthy and happy💌🌷💕 Keep up the good work!
