Trials have a way of highlighting what really matters.
Spreading the gospel and taking care of each other.
The gospel of Christ is not exclusive, it is specific. It points the way to Jesus for salvation for ALL.
“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.”
Acts 4:12-13
“And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.”

This is my second year ❤ Thank you for the Bible recap! I dedicate the first part of my day to God in my Bible reading. I just wish I could be on the current Bible recap for that day but it looks like I am very early in my Bible reading and the recap comes out very late in the evening.
What time do you read? It is always there on UA-cam when I read.
It sounds like you are reading 1 day ahead of the plan. The recaps are published at midnight - the first hour of the new day - every day so they would be available early in the morning if you are on the same date the plan is on. But of course that might very depending on your time zone and what country you are listening from. I think they are published at midnight EST each day. For example I am listening now at 10 am CST and the episode was published 11 hours ago.
The recap comes out a midnight EST.

I think Ananias and Sapphira are clear examples of how not to live the Christian life.
They didn't just lie to man but to God Himself.
Romans 8:27-"God knows the hearts of men..."
I think of that when confessing to God my sin. He already knows! Don't hide it from Him, confess it and be cleansed.

I think it’s sad because they didn’t have to lie!! They could’ve told the truth & changed their gift amount. Why lie??!

I have a question I was doing a Daniel fast and praying am on day 3 then my period just started
Trials definitely give you a stronger walk with God. Even being persecuted or not taken seriously should not take you away from you assignment. There is definitely salvation in no one else. He is where the joy is . I’m so happy that I chose this walk. 🙌🏽🫶🏽
We saw in Gen 31:42 that God is “the fearsome God of Isaac,” and Ananias and Saphira had no fear of God. But the disciples do, and they fear God more than the authorities, who can put them to death. Godly fear is marked by obedience to His word (see John Bevere’s “The Awe of God”). If there’s one way for me to grow closer to Christ, it is through obedience and the fear of His great name.
The Lord is our all in all. Not a part.
You guys I want to encourage you if you’re not already to learn and practice sharing the gospel of Christ. Jesus is Gods only Son whom He sent to die on a sinners cross, for your sin and mine. He was buried and on the 3rd day God raised Him from the dead just like He said He would. If you believe this gospel the Bible says, the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of salvation to those who believe it.
I’m surprised that ppl think they are saved bc they thank God everyday for supplying needs..which is good.. but it won’t give them eternal life! When someone says they believe ask them why and ask them if they know the Gospel story. If they do celebrate together! If not.. TELL THEM😭 We’ve been commissioned In Matt 28 to do so. Download the 3 Circles, pray and ask God to help you and to give you the desire to share the Gospel. The enemy doesn’t want us to share it bc… he knows it’s the power of God into salvation for those who believe 🙏🏾

The apostles chose to listen and obey God over humans (Acts 4:19, 5:29). They said they couldn't help speaking about what they had seen and heard (Acts 4:20) and continued to share the gospel after the Sanhedrin told them not to. They even rejoiced in their suffering after being flogged (Act 5:41).
May I also listen to and obey God over humans and not help but speak of what I've seen and heard. 🙏🏽

Yes and Amen! The pure gospel! Lord, may you make us as bold as the apostles, being unafraid to speak the truth despite opposition.
Trials highlight what really matters. Wow. That's so true. Either we focus on the trial or let the trial bring God glory.

They even Saw the angelic radiance of Stephen’s face 🤷🏻♀️
The apostles didnt pray for persecution to be stopped but that they, the apostles, would increase in boldness in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ…Wow. I have heard the persecuted Church have prayer requests like that too. The Holy Spirit moving in His people 🙌🏼
