I am new in my journey and walk with God. Something lately has been calling to me on a deeper level. I can’t describe it or even began to understand it. I started praying and I have not done that since I was a little girl. I opened up my Bible for the first in I don’t know how long. I have been feeling amazing and well rested. It’s like all my worries and anxiety have been lifted off of me. I can’t explain how to great it feels to know that God loves me no matter what I have done. He will never leave me.
God's drawing you closer to Him . This is how He gets you to get to know Him.
Yes God loves you and wants you to get to know him. He keeps forgiving us again and again. He is where life is found. ☺️

The Shepherd here is Jesus.
John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
This is the fulfillment of the prophecy.
Matthew 26:31
Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “’I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’
This happened near 30 to 33 AD.
Hosea 6:1-2
Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.
After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.
In prophecies 1day is equal to 1000 years. Which means after two thousand years Jesus will return again.
And on the third day which is the 3rd millennium, we will live in his sight. We all know we cannot see God's face and live on Earth. So it's the second coming of Jesus.
Luke 21:11 ►
There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
Matthew 24:6
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
We are the witnesses of all these things. From the death of Jesus to 2030 - 2033 there are 2000 years. Jesus is coming soon. Let's all repent and turn from our old ways and turn to the Lord.

It's my first time reading about Stephen about a week ago, I'm not afraid to claim that I cried when I read about him. Not just from the tragedy but because mainly from his undying love for the ones killing him. It's powerful
Steven was full of the holy spirit and blessed of the lord. He also gave one of the greatest summaries of the old testament and how it points to jesus christ our lord.

I just finished the Old Testament today, wrapping up my quest to read through the whole Bible! I'm finally familiar with the stories that are referred to in the Gospels and the Epistles and the imagery of Revelation.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful message! Stephen is one of my favorite characters because as he’s dying he sees Jesus STANDING at the right hand of the Father! We normally read of Jesus seated at the right hand of God, but he stood for Stephen 😭🙌🏽🙏🏽

During Peters preaching at pentecost, the apostle quoted a verse from Psalm as an old testament prophetic evidence showing that the Messiahs resurrection was predicted by the patriarch David. Referring to that Psalm(a David's Psalm), the context of the verse or all the sentences preceding that verse all the way upto the beginning have the psalmist in mind. And the sentences past that verse all the way to the bottom are referring to psalmists, king David himself. That is the subject of the statements is king David. A thousand years later we are told to believe that peters verse is particularly speaking about the Messiah. Or have the Messiah as subject. One has to hold that it is speaking about king David's own belief in his own resurrection from the dead from local context alone. That is if we take Peter challenge to the crowds to think logically about the verse. Davids statements are as follows "you will not leave your servant in the graveyard nor let his body see decay". The next sentence then says, rather you will let him enjoy pleasure and your presence forevermore. He is humbly saying, in fact tacitly requesting, that as opposed to being left in a graveyard like any human being, his God would allow him to live forever and enjoy pleasures. If we take Peters interpretation(making Jesus a subject), Jesus end up becoming like David in the last sentence that is a common servant hoping for heavenly paradise as opposed to being left in a graveyard. Or the Messiah of chritians sought eternal life like an average religious person. Since this conflicts with other consistent Christian theology, this can not be the interpretation. These suggests Christianity is another Jewish sect built on the teachings of men interpreting the Torah like the Essenes, Sadducces, Pharisees and others.
Man....whether I'm reading Stephen's defense and execution or even watching your video makes a knot in my throat and brings tears to my eyes.
