They made the gas passer useful! I think it's a good idea to keep the gas passer like it is now, all it needed is a bit of a buff for people to use it! I am totally going to use it more often, i still wish Valve added new weapons for the class
One good way to make the Gas passer better in PVP games, reduce the 60 second and 750 damage for recharge into 45 seconds and 450 damage for recharge. this is much more reasonable and gives you more chances to go Gas Passer.

WHAT THE FRAK VALVE?! that is why I am of the opinion if the Cooldown and recharge was lowered to a manageable amount, it would make the GAs passer better.
for sniper, jarate is a really good tool for criting, but it's the sniper. That only happens sometimes. But with pyro. That thing will be broken especially considering airblast

The gas passer was always meant to count as having wetted players, and thus critical hit players with the Neon Anhilator. It's just that Valve didn't fully implement it until now. But, those were some good clips with the gas passer. Lastly, the Phlogistinator, Gas Passer and Neon Anhilator is literally my go-to loadout right now because of wet player crits.

Its a cool combo but it runs into problem of running at people with your melee. This build is better suited for defense / flank pyro. The best use I got out of the gas passer and neon combo is getting high priority targets by sneaking up on them.
I like how just before this I was playing with the gas passer and sharpened volcano fragment as a joke and now only one of those weapons is completely outclassed by just pressing m1 with your main weapon.
@@VeryHighPriest I mainly come from a minecraft pvp background so I love the degreaser but mainly for its use to combo with other weapons however without a secondary I find its still pretty challenging which is why I prefer the TT for better midrange use when using the gas paser. Also I forgot to say but nice video!
It's funny how hyped people are over this even though the gas passer is still unusably bad. It's not even labeled as a buff it's treated like an oversight fix.
