Nicholas Schultz it's supposed to go to your belt line, so if it's high it looks off.

Oh my, people usually find tying the simple knot hard, Now you are even challenging the original knot tie with a sophisticated knot. Good luck everyone!

Thank you, Youtique Bridal, for making well-produced instructional videos that are easy to follow and free of superfluous words and directions--and thus short and to the point. In under three and a half minutes each, I can be tutored on how to tie the Trinity, the Eldredge and the Pratt knots. (I now know them by heart.) My decades of only Half Windsors are over! Great accompaniment track, too. And, accentuating the word "heart" in the song just after the word "heart" is spoken in the Trinity knot video was very clever. Kudos to your producer. My only request: more knots--please make some more tutorials!

scooterinjapan you such a kind commenter and carefully caught all the details in the tutorial...I'm quite impressed:) I do plan on making more videos but it takes time and I do have projects behind the scenes as well. Hopefully I can dedicate more time in the future. Thank you so much for visiting and watching the tutorials!

I used this video to tie the Eldredge knot for a wedding I attended. I watched it once without even trying to do the knot. Then I practiced 3 times standing in front of the mirror, pausing and backing up the video several times. By the time I tied the knot for the 4th and final time while I was putting on my suit, I was able to keep up with the video and it looked great. I got several compliments.
I used an extra long tie (65"). I'm 6'4", so an extra long tie is pretty standard for me.

GD Feng Origami is hard. That origami train probably looked better than the knot:) Thanks for watching and visiting the channel!

Thank you so much for this video! I really loved it! I was looking for some thing different to do with my collection of ties.. and I found here, in your channel! Your skills to teach, your sweet and lovely voice, the nice song in background makes your tutorial videos amazing!

Measure your tie. I'm 5'8 and was originally trying this with a 56" tie. Ran out of tie, like everyone else on here. Tried it with a 59 1/2" tie, and managed to get it to work. At first I was going for a "fuller" look by keeping it a little loose and that wasn't working. I finally started by making the thick side slightly higher than the top of my belt (maybe 2" higher) and as long as I kept the tie very taught after every sequence, I managed to make it work. This may not help if you're taller, but measure your tie. There's hope. Very little, but hope exists.
