You can't count $100 delivery fee as a profit - that's the price for Lyft/Uber to get home. Considering that you have to spend an extra hour each time delivering the car - it's a hassle.
New to your channel. I've watched a dozen of your videos by now. I have to say this is the first one that disappointed me. That 2015 Audi R8 Spyder is a 2015 Audi R8 Spyder. It's the 1st-gen model. The 2nd-gen model is what you should have tried. Try one and all of the complaints you had about the one you drove, will be gone. Well, all but the complaint about the soft top looking cheap (FYI: All but 2 of the most expensive convertibles on the market, are soft tops. That include the most expensive, is a Rolls Royce). One of the best things about the 2nd-gen R8 is how luxurious the interior feels and smells. As for tech, check out the nav-center. Comparing a 2015 model year to a 2020/2021 model year, it all came across a bit shady as if this was actually promoted content. Just being honest.
Dude I have to say you are becoming one of my biggest roll models, Iv been flipping furniture since February and Iv made over 6k now I’m starting Turo because of you. You’ve literally helped me and my family survive. I’d love to talk someday brother! Keep it up you are awesome.
What this guy is forgetting is the cost to maintain these cars. You're not really paying them off that fast just because there are maintenance costs, as well as depreciation.

I think the corvette is the car you get your the best bang for your buck. The performance is insane, exterior is aggressive(looks like a super car, interior is a huge upgrade from the C6 and C7 generation. You can get the targa top which has the clear engine bay or get the mechanical rooftop as well. Prices right now are around $70-$90k because of markups but that’s still a good price for what you’re getting. But you can’t go wrong with any of the cars in the video except I would get a coupe R8 and not the spyder (;

C8 vette was my favorite bro how can you go wrong with a 60k investment on a supercar that pays its self off in 1 year! Average person will drive 400-1k miles x 3-5 renters! That’s literally unbelievable I’m contemplating starting a small turo bizz to go along with my Airbnb bizz and home Security bizz! Genius thanks for the content bro
Yep. Recently there has been a major slow down on rentals in Atlanta. Some of mine are only getting rented once or twice a month. Also, I find the sports cars being more irresponsible drivers.
1) you don't get 100% of your listing fee from Turo. 2) 15 days per month is very rare for supercars. Please don't mislead viewers with obviously inflated numbers.
Great video content. Do however have one issue with the calculations of paying off the vehicles and that is because you’re not factoring in someone taking any money for themselves paying themselves for the work that they’re doing throughout that time frame. So while yes if they took no money they could pay the vehicle off in two years who’s really going to sacrifice doing free work for 24 months? That’s a pretty steep expectation what are your thoughts?
😁Wouldn't it be better to just buy them used? That way the fast depreciation already took place. You could buy a 3-4 yr old car for 35% off the new price and still charge the same as a new car. In my opinion I think generally the average person isn't going to care about how many miles the cars have. They just want to experience driving one around. What do you think?
Depending on your budget, I think you should try some more expensive cars. Personally I love the 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S, it's so fast! I would say it's almost comparable to the Lamborghini but, definitely more comfortable to drive and very usable as a daily driver. It's not a 4 door though.... so that might be a deal breaker for you. The Taycan Turbo S is also a fun one, not as fast as the 911 but, faster than the Taycan model that you drove. I'm excited to see what you end up getting. This series was done very well! I really appreciate the breakdown of the numbers for each of the cars you drove and rented out. I have been considering creating a Turo fleet for a while but, I've been hesitant to start. These videos answered a lot of questions that I have had.
When the demand bubble eases. that extra $10 over msrp will be pure loss, that portion won't depreciate like the base cost does. And 50% utilization is pretty optimistic. If you average ervrey weekend plus one weekday that's 38% utilization
There are definite geographic differences. Las Vegas is a vacation hot bed. People arrive, ready to drop some money and wanting to really enjoy themselves. Try that in the Midwest, and the numbers will likely look different. On that note, I’m contemplating a used Tesla Model S 100D and see how Turo does in Minnesota. Boneheaded move? We’ll see (probably, yes).
I WISH mine rented out for 15 out of the month. I rent supercars on turo and it's a mess. 4-5 days max. we actually lose money from damage claims to maintenance on these. my most profitable car is actually a Model 3!
@@rodneyramos9101 it was Great video by the way and shows the ability to leverage Turo! But i would suggest anyone trying to PROFIT to be wary. TURO breaks me even on a 911 and a i8 every month but far from making an economic “profit”

Dude almost every credit card covers full rental car insurance. You got got. Thats illegal of them
On Turo's website it states that when renting out the car your cut will be 60-90%. It seems that your calculations are assuming 90%. Where you able to find out the criteria for the different % cuts?
This is not a bad business. There are a lot of other equipment rental businesses to get into as well. However, I think the goal should be to start your own business and not work with Turo long-term as they take a big cut and their prices are low.
Amazing content Ryan, a fan of yours from the Bay Area. Gotta love the porche, lease it 3 years, they cover maintenance and electric car tax deduction. Can't go wrong with that. Are all these people leasing new model cars or buying?
I would never rent out my supercar to anyone, that's nuts. Why would you let somebody else put so many miles on it? it would lead to wear and tear and those aren't cheap fixes on a supercar + your car would depreciate the more miles it has on it. I don't think people understand the full cost of ownership of a supercar, it's more than the just the sticker price.
The R8 is an audi. Maintenance is cheap. $300 for maintenance. Tires are the biggest expense at $1500 (maybe every 2 years). You can get good aftermarket brakes (non ceramic) for $1200 and this will last a long time. You can easily get a warranty for the Audi R8 too.
Yeah man or just finance an used Mercedes e class or tesla those cars r consistance and people buy those if u finance an Mercedes c class for 3 year u would pay 1.5k per month and earn 4k plus and after maintenance 2k plus profit
Lowkey if you don't make as much as the car is worth or close your gonna have a ruff time since these cars cost probably 10 to 35% of repairs of the cars Wirth
