I like watching the preparation of different foods. Some dishes makes my mouth water because they look absolutely delicious. I would like to see the person who is actually doing the eating to watch the expression on his face to see if he is enjoying each bite
12:38 that's a sesame oil with salt in it. Koreans use it as a sause for any kind of barbecued stuff. It really adds a rich flavor to the dish. I'm so glad that at last there are things that I know a bit more.
I do feel kind of bad because that eel went with the handler super calm and gently but then I saw how awesome the finished product was and it made it all worthwhile
Are you An American?I'm Japanese.I hear that most american food is made in factories. It's very convenient but dreary. If you have a chance, please come to Korea or Japan.
It's nice to see every ounce of that eel was used. Even the head and bones for soup! Also great to see such good cleaning practices and sanitation. I would love to eat there. One last observation is the eel is being fried in a regular non stick skills vs the usual high heat flaming wok's? That's odd to me. Lol
I've pretty much stop going to restaurants, but if I could find a fried eel prep like that in the San Francisco Bay Area, I'd be there in a heart beat. You'll probably only find that prep in Korea and Japan.
Wow..great cleanliness and each step is done wit atmost care nd neatness..... Dhrs no wonder dey have great life span....such healthy clean nd fresh fud...

Whenever I tell people I love eel and raw fish they get so disgusted. It's actually very tasty. I'm sure they could get used to cooked eel on rice. That's absolutely delicious.
I wonder what's the texture is like. It curls up when heated like squid. It looks like fish but is not flaky. Also flavor-wise, how did it taste pan-fried without the gochujang?
@@hermawanriyanto2736 the bones are used in medical preparations, bones use to make of expensive porcelain and other dishes, and bones have a huge variety of ways to use =)
Well, me being a Korean for decades, never knew we ate that snakey fish(don't know the name in English) as a sashimi. I recommend you guys eat them by barbecue. And if you guys get to have a chance to try them... please let me in... I haven't ate those for years...
K TM hi they’re called eels in English and, cool! What’s barbecued eel like? I live in an area where there isn’t really much quality seafood/fish, so I don’t think I’ll ever be able to try it :’ ) It looks really good tho!
I usually use freshwater eels for eel sushi That eel is a conger eel that lives in the sea In Korea, grilled eel is usually used for salt or seasoned grilled eel

Asians are the real chef and knows how to cook
Stop saying it is cruel or something, the chef instant kill it at first cut, just keep its head for him to get rid off the bone quickly.
It's cruel anyway, if would be cruel to a dog, it would be cruel to any other animal

Eel slices have a creamy and concentrated taste, like a white flesh fish but very smooth in texture.
