    I like watching the preparation of different foods. Some dishes makes my mouth water because they look absolutely delicious. I would like to see the person who is actually doing the eating to watch the expression on his face to see if he is enjoying each bite

    12:38 that's a sesame oil with salt in it. Koreans use it as a sause for any kind of barbecued stuff. It really adds a rich flavor to the dish. I'm so glad that at last there are things that I know a bit more.

    I do feel kind of bad because that eel went with the handler super calm and gently but then I saw how awesome the finished product was and it made it all worthwhile

    It's nice to see every ounce of that eel was used. Even the head and bones for soup! Also great to see such good cleaning practices and sanitation. I would love to eat there. One last observation is the eel is being fried in a regular non stick skills vs the usual high heat flaming wok's? That's odd to me. Lol

    I've pretty much stop going to restaurants, but if I could find a fried eel prep like that in the San Francisco Bay Area, I'd be there in a heart beat. You'll probably only find that prep in Korea and Japan.

      Whenever I tell people I love eel and raw fish they get so disgusted. It's actually very tasty. I'm sure they could get used to cooked eel on rice. That's absolutely delicious.

    I wonder what's the texture is like. It curls up when heated like squid. It looks like fish but is not flaky.
    Also flavor-wise, how did it taste pan-fried without the gochujang?

    Well, me being a Korean for decades, never knew we ate that snakey fish(don't know the name in English) as a sashimi. I recommend you guys eat them by barbecue. And if you guys get to have a chance to try them... please let me in... I haven't ate those for years...

      K TM hi they’re called eels in English and, cool! What’s barbecued eel like? I live in an area where there isn’t really much quality seafood/fish, so I don’t think I’ll ever be able to try it :’ ) It looks really good tho!

      I usually use freshwater eels for eel sushi That eel is a conger eel that lives in the sea In Korea, grilled eel is usually used for salt or seasoned grilled eel

    При использовании тефлоновых покрытий, нежелательно использовать металлические предметы, вредно для здоровья. И похлопывание лопаткой по рыбе, не значит её переворачивать. А так - аппетитно!
