I started watching your videos about 6 months ago and adjusted our investment strategy. In the last 6 months, we've generated enough to replace one of my paychecks! It's a small first step but it's very tangible and I feel like we can actually get to the point where our investments are replacing all of our paychecks. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Amon and Christina. Another great video as usual. I’m very glad that you explained how you can basically stagger your investments to earn monthly income because from the title of your video I was completely confused as to how one can generate $500 a month from capital gains, interest, and dividends when they only pay out quarterly. Once again you guys knocked it out the park!

    Hi, Christina and Amon.
Great content, thanks for putting these little gems together for us to enjoy! Being a Portuguese resident, I’m curious to know if your strategy has changed regarding dividend investing now that you’re Portuguese residents yourselves. As I understand it, dividend investing might not be the wisest portfolio based on our tax law, but I understand your target audience is majorly located in the US.
Congrats again on the great content.

Qyld 👍👍 drop 5k there and see what your monthly dividend is, then times that by 12. I'm in Love with monthly and have others to get growth but to get paid without selling anything is nothing but Joy.

@@davidgivens5121 I'm on the fence with investing in QYLD. My growth mutual funds are killing it. QYLD doesn't compare - even with dividends reinvested. My understanding is that the dividends are between .15 and .20 per share per month. You gotta have like 555 shares to make like $100 a month or about $13k invested. Hopefully I can drop like $500k in QYLD when I retire in ten years.

Is this in a taxable account?? Can you speak to the tax implications if it is? I thought REITS should only be in non taxable accounts.

I don’t work for the government, my job doesn’t have and don’t offer pension and health insurance when I retire. But I’m doing what I can to max out my 401 k and invest in my brokerage account using index funds to reach my fire goal

Thank you and Thank you so much for your UA-cam channel and your courses. I just completed your course. It was very easy to understand and well thought out. Too bad I am old for the FIRE movement. I will pass the knowledge to my young daughter and any young person willing to listen. The course really helped me realize I need to work on improving my emergency fund situation and then invest in something conservative. You are changing life and mindsets. Much appreciated and good luck with your continued success!
