- For all you lovers of Jurassic era aeroplanes, check out these two beauties operating with Everts Air Cargo we caught during our live Member show at Anchorage 🎥
First-up, one of their DC6 Aircraft: this piston powered beauty is SIXTY FIVE years young. I reckon she’s around 100ft as she crosses the boundary 😮 check-out the pro-vortex from the No4!
And next-up, one of their DC9 Jurassic Jets (please @Flightradar24DotCom
change it from MD83 to DC9 😂) she was born a DAC ❤️
Like the DC6, all original, with Analogue instruments and probably an iPad for nav & weather? Fitted with her original low- bypass @prattandwhitney JT8D’s 💪🏻
Run this one through the TV and listen to those engines 📺 🔊🔊

Fantastic video ❤
The contrast between the two classics was amazing. But both equally beautiful!
The 2 days of coverage in Anchorage was just pure enjoyment, seeing planes you dont get to see over here in the UK, especially seeing classics that UK hasn't seen in a long long time, yet these beauties still roam the skys in Alaska. To Jerry & Gilly, a big big well done & thank you for what you pulled off over the 2 days, you're amazing. Big Jet TV rules! 👏🎉
Anchorage always delivers love those classic planes thanks Jerry Gilly
Everts air cargo's newest plane is the Wright Flyer
😆
Awesome edit, it was an absolute joy to watch this live😁
Thanks so much for sharing! Love those vintage planes.
There is just nothing as satisfying as the sound of 4 radial engines working in harmony.
Lov the way the Everts Air Cargo Prop plane just bearly gets off the ground before the undercarriage lift's up. Nice
Lovely sound of that 4 engined prop plane.
It's fun to see the DC-9 again. I think of all the times I flew from DCA to LGA in a DC-9 on the shuttle - before they were changed to MD-80s. That's nostalgia!
Bigjet TV, the best
Oh my gosh what superb planes wow 😮 will watch Thursday ❤x
Oh man, we're spoiled again by BJTV 😄👌
Love the classic planes , thanks Jerry and Gilly
The golden days of my spotting career dc9’ s at man On a Sumer afternoon love this aeroplane
Wow, wish we had them in the UK
From the days when you could actually tell one aircraft from another !
Classics rule! 🛩 💙 🛩
Great shots with all those 747s looming in the background!
Talk about get them wheels up .He was barely off the ground .Good shot of filming there Jerry.
Nyyyyce❤
Brilliant the Jurassic Jerry & planes are alive
That DC-6 looked like it was hardly climbing at all.
Is that a standard pitch angle on takeoff for the DC6?
Wow amazing, such beautiful planes still being used 😍
What a beautiful sound that DC6 makes on take off and not sure the 9 had a hush kit on how loud was that....beautiful
I thought 747 was rare nowadays, I counted eight of them?
Anchorage is 747 Heaven ✈️👍🏻
I hope in the next 30 years there will be a new 747 with 4 engines which is fuel efficent, good for the economy and good for us! ❤ Well the aviation is developing rapidly so I don't think that this is not possible. The end of the production can be a new beginning.
Maybe ancient planes but they seem well operated and maintained. That's all what's needed.
DC9 !!
love it
Special stuff
Jerry a Jurassic? 🤔No way!
Sure that one of the Everts featured in one of those Alaskan TV programs. Think it was the one with the woman that ran a fuel stop for aircraft
Good
What’s good Jerry!!
Good effort gilly n Jerry special stream
Cripes! Analogue instruments and an iPad? Most cars have better instrumentation.
If "jurassic" reliable sircraft weren't used the price of goods in remote, small communities would triple. They provide a service, not a show.
