I flew into Anchorage on my way to South Korea. We had a 3 hour lay over. The city is surrounded by mountains and the sun was out at 2am. That was amazing.
4:44 goosebumps when seeing two queens in one shot. Personally, I love UPS and FedEx liveries on cargo planes (except on MD-11s). I wish UPS still kept the "Synchronizing the world of commerce" text on their livery to rival with FedEx's "The World On Time".
The first plane a 747-8Fi is the last production model of the 747-8 ever it has a special emblem below the pilots window showing "Joe Sutter" and "The Incredibles" for the engineers who produced the Boeing 747 jet series a I craft.
JUST AWESOME WORK . Enjoying this amazing footage here in Connecticut with a beer in my hand and 16 degrees outside... and subscribed too as of now. Thank you
I know the pilot(Captain) who fly the A330F MAS Air Cargo. (He has a channel) Since MAS only operate two A330s. and he just flew in and out of of Anchorage to Zhengzhou very recently. So that was probably him. That's cool.
November 18 & 19 2023 temps where high of approx 16 f and low of 3°f. Currently in Anchorage we have had a multiple day stretch of high temperature remaining below zero, so these temps sound like a heater wave right now
You guys are from where! Holy Balls! If I had known you were out in that cold weather! I would have brought you down my motorhome! Great shots! Those LA pussies run from the cold! Tons of respect, great coverage! We are just a gas station!!! keep them coming!
Because it is a good halfway point between Asia and the lower 48. If you flew direct from Asia to the lower 48, you'll need more fuel and sacrifice cargo.
bobbybob, even though Joe Rand-McNally doesn't show it on his maps, Red Dog is in the state of Alaska about 30 miles north of Noatak and about 45 miles northeast of Kivalina in the far northwest part of the state.
Marvelous DC-6
Unbelievable!! I can’t believe there’s still some flying
1:39 this was the last 747 ever produced
Awesome video! I loved that up close MD-11 at 34:30 taxiing past you!
Love the sound of that DC6 😍
The DC-6 was the absolute highlight, great video!
beautiful snowy airport and nice plane spotting
I spent a lot of time on the hill alongside runway 33 across from the cargo terminals plane spotting in ‘08 and ‘09. Lots of good pics and memories.
I was stationed in Alaska when I was in the US Air Force and flew into both Anchorage Airport and Elmendorf AFB. Both busy places.

Wow I have the model of the final 747 ever built-N863GT she is the queen!I gotta visit Anchorage someday to see 747s before it’s too late.
747 everywhere!!! love it

Klasse Video ✈️✈️✈️✈️👍👍👍👍
Well this was about as close to being the perfect spotting video as you'll get. What a place. How cold was it 😂
Went to ANC in Sept 23 already want to go back - maybe not in winter. Thanks for sharing Mark
WOW I Love this one and it looks like the busiest Airport for Cargo that I have ever see?
I think it’s 3rd largest.
DC6 Old Rocker never dies. 🤘😎🤘
Espetacular!!❤
As a pilot it would have to be Everts I`d want to fly for! They have the cool craft! Great footage.
Wonderfull View and Moment
Great Video. Was last in ANC was 2005
This is terrific - thank you!
Very nice capture😀 Greetings from Japan 😀
Beautiful excellent footage❤
Well done, my friend 😎👍 one of my very favorite airports and you captured it beautifully.
Excellent video Mark, wont go short on 747s here. The polar 777 was like a rocket, hope you had a heated jacket on you sounded ever so cold mate.
Very impressive video
Awesome video Mark 👍

Aloha Air Cargo (at 27:15) goes through Anchorage when it's too hot in Honolulu.
Oops, I should have said that Desert Air (at 36:56) goes through Anchorage when it's too hot in the Mojave Desert.
What a fantastic video man! Epic catches! Liked!

nice video bud.
abs fantastic footage, watching from London England & loving it,def 747 heaven
You need to advertise the clothing brands that your wearing to film this i am sure you could get some sponsorship👍
Isn't Aloha air cargo a long way away from home?
I assume one reason Anchorage is so busy it is mainly just a refueling stop ?
Yep
There's one thing missing from this video............ can anyone guess what it is???🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Edit: its here once but that's Not ENOUGH!!!!!!
The door from a 737max?
Just stop
@@Maurin67😆😂
I could be wrong but my answer is that these were mostly cargo aircraft..there weren't a lot of passenger jets.
MD-11 I guess…
What was the temperature like out there when you were filming there? I bet you almost freezed to death. But its for the content though.

Alaskan would have to be one of the very few operators still ordering new planes with wig-wags.
The hell are those
@@hehepro4832
10:29, 11:49, 25:55, 28:53, 45:00
The alternating runway & landing lights. They're called wigwags.
@@mitchul👏👏👌
There are almost no passenger planes😮
I have a question,
Why does Anchorage have most Cargo jets flying aroun 🤔

@TB-um1xz oh thanks, btw like my comment please!
The audio quality is too good.
Where is Red Dog?

No Airbus 😂
A takeoff only airport. No planes ever land here...
