ikr i read the us edition after the uk edition and trust me the plot twist hits you harder in uk edition than that in the us one because in the uk edition they(pip and Eliot) had such a good relationship which was more formal us edition

books usually don’t get an edit that’s as drastic as this though. it’s usually just changing certain words to make it clearer for audiences in different countries - this was something completely different
