I feel so bad for Stanley but I have to confess I forgot who he was all throughout the second book even before we got his backstory like when Pip was mad at him earlier in the book. And when we were learning his backstory only after he DIED I remember who he was and he was in the original book.😅
Yeah if I read them as they came out I certainly wouldn’t make the same connections I did reading them back to back because there is so much going on in the first book that sets up the last two
This was exactly what i needed after i finished the series! Cant wait for the next part and for you to read all the amazing plot twists in the last book!
girl omg youre a lifesaver i got stuck and confused in the middle of the book and this was literally perfect because there weren't any spoilers and i could just stop wherever i stopped reading if that made sense lol. tysm
I do wonder where Jamie was going while pretending to go to work, and also Jamie is a very weak human to have fallen that deep and hard for Layla virtually... I am still pretty blown away about how Charlie responded "hello Pip" to Pip using Connor's art IG account, that was pretty crazy. How did he know it was her using that account? I also started suspecting Charlie & Flora the new neighbours pretty early on! They were too new and too nice and sus af lol! I couldn't believe Pip had the balls to blackmail her new history teacher. It's kind of crazy how people still speak to Pip after all her tactics haha. UGH Lauren and Ant and then Ant's dad at the end were INFURIATING. Also I'm super confused about why Lauren's ex Tom gave Pip that fake story about seeing Jamie. What was the point of that? I couldn't believe Max Hastings got off. I was hoping there'd be more details about the conclusion of the court case and why the jury made that decision.
RT to all of your points!!! I want these loose ends tied up!!! It’s too convenient. I still love the writing and story, but I wish that someone who proofread would have posed these to the author.
this was a much needed summary, i watched the first books summary and i’m basically trying to refresh my memory on how this book went cuz i totally forgot 😭 also how excited are you for the new agggtm show coming up?!
I can’t consume any story (tv, book, movie) where a character is trying to save another character without his voice in my head chanting chest compressions hahah
omg girl thank you so muchhh, i am about to start the last book but totally forgot the first two books and oh my you have helped me remember it all😫! u told the story so well good job x
Ive read this series last year and totally forgot most of the plot and now that the tv show team have been announcing the cast i found that i forgot everyone except for pip , ravi , sal , andie and becca sp thank you for this vid
I love these videos because mysteries and books like these that are so fast paced I find that I miss a LOT of things that were important like A LOT. So these videos really help me out clarify things. Like I deadass completely missed the entire ending of the first hunger games book
Thank you so much for this summary!! I read this book a long time ago and I'm gonna start the third one now, but I didn't remember anything about this one. You were an angel! ✨Thanks to you my experience with the next book will be better 🤍
I love how the whole mystery of the book is Jamie being missing but in fandom I never hear anyone talk about him like I really like him he seems sweet ❤
@@meghangaddisreads Was doing the whole disappearing a bit unnecessary but hey we love a dramatic king plus he was a real one in the last book near the end helping Pip out without even knowing why
Finally getting to book 3 now after reading book 2 over 2 years ago and the speed of your voice was like music to my adhd ears 😅 this was so needed as a refresher 😅😅😅
Idk why but i have low key difrend ending. In my book Charlie was not a twin, but a younger brother od this girl. Child Brunswick ask this 17 years old girl to help find his mom. Besides that i love how you explain the whole plot, and i love this book! ❤ I am do sory for Stanley. He deserves better.
When i was readind i thought that Holly put Charlie in this book to help Pip when she got mad, but sundelly he killed Stanley and i was like: wtf is happening, is Charlie Layla??? I'm kinda dumb, i never had thought about how Charlie were suspect
Could you help me remember who Leslie from stop and shop is and what happened with her and Ravi 😅 I don't remember why Pip considered her an enemy in AGAD [which is what I'm reading rn]
I really didnt like this one. The more i think about it and how much I enjoyed the first and last, it makes me more and more angry. I just felt this one was an unfair mystery. By that, i felt like the ending popped out of nowhere and there wasnt really a way for you to figure it out more than a chapter or so before Pip did. I got played in the first one, so I was determined not to get played again. I took notes, highlighted bits, sumarized every interview, looked for clues in every picture, put sticky tabs of various colors to mark different things, came up with theories, etc. I got so into it. Then at the last minute, none of those clues even mattered and i wasted my time trying to figure it out. I just felt betrayed by the author since in the first one, I saw part of it coming from early on. I knew it was the teacher from about halfway. But how was my question. Then the sister was a surprise, but I feel like i could have figured it out. In the 3rd, i actually did figure it out before Pip. This one, i just felt betrayed. Also, this is Pip's worst book. She's annoying in the first and last but has some redeeming qualities. But in this one, i hated her. She's got her stupid podcast where she spills people's dirty laundry, then acts suspicious when people dont want to tell her stuff. I remember the one kid who seemed to want to help find Jamie, but he didnt want his parents to find out he threw a party. So he asked her not to put it on her podcast. Even while talking to him, she has the full intention of making it public. She also does as much lying as anyone else, probably more. He jumps to too many conclusions. If two stories dont perfectly match up, that doesnt mean someone is automatically lying. They may just be working with different info. Jamie might very well have went to Nat's place and she didnt know. Or whatever guy could have thought it was Jamie but it was actually someone else, like the drug dealer guy. Also, she never has real consequences. The very end is the only consequence, but Stanley paid the price. In the first, her dog died as a consequence. In the last, it was just crazy. But she had consequences. In this one, the only consequence is people not liking her because she's horrible to almost everyone. Like when she pours the drink on that guy. #1, like i said, she had no proof he was actually lying. He could have truly believed what he said. #2. You pour a drink on some guy in the school cafeteria and have no consequences? Not sent to the principal? Not yelled at by the guy or his friends? No nasty rumors going around the school? Nothing? She was insufferable. In the last book, she was a lot better
I finally finished it, was very exciting but the final plot did not convince me, it disappointed me, everything was taken at the last minute, taken out of nowhere, and again, putting characters that appear once or twice for something important, I don't know, I feel like it wasn't there well planned.
29:10 I mean she kinda had a lot of clues bc I guessed it too when reading the book, how he doesn’t answer to Stanley at one point and I knew if he came back for book 2 it was for a reason, maybe it is bc I’ve read so many Agatha Christie books but it made sense to me 🤷♀️ also I recommend reading the uk version if u ever plan to reread the series, they are better

i think the uk and us versions of all 3 books are slightly diff, like i’ve heard of the locations being called diff things etc
The UK and US version just has random details be different for literally no reason lol
