Taylor being a strong lyricist i have seen hundreds of people talk about the words used in her songs, but seeing a sound enigneer talking about the little things and technicalities is so nice.
I love to hear professional artists / engineers to talk about music. Very interesting. Just FYI. There are 20 tracks. The full album has 7 more tracks on the 3am edition. As far as sound and production is concerned, I really love track 20 Dear Reader, Glitch is interesting production, Wouldve Couldve Shouldve is arguably one of her best songs she's written. Basically, these 7 tracks are worth listening to in order to complete the story.
I think that subtle noise that's going on top from side to side that creates movement you're talking about on the track Midnight Rain is like a very nice depiction of thoughts that we usually have during midnights, when everything's quiet but we're still wide awake swimming in our own thoughts
Thank you so much for acknowledging that You're One Your Own Kid *does* have a climax (and a few of those at that)!💜 Bc some people say it never gets big and like ??? I never got that In addition to that, there is a big lyrical climax to that song, and Taylor's songs are all about lyricism
Interesting hearing what a mix engineer thinks of this and hears. I was never a Taylor fan, but got into this album after hearing Anti-Hero and as someone whose been interested in music production for a long time I noticed how good the sound was. I think this would be one of my go to albums for detailed listening, A/Bing and and trying to reverse engineer the tricks of the masters. If someone made a reality show of this album being made and explained each piece of gear, why it was used, what each knob did, what made them turn the knobs they did and what they hoped to achieve with each turn...I'd watch.
I love how you explain all of the things I’ve heard and noticed, but never noticed music in layered sense(depth and width actually made sense to me!). Thank you! 💕 I also immediate understood what you meant by the doing going from grandma giving you a cookie and grandma giving a hug. Today would have been my gram’s 90th bday 🎉 13:19
Great video! Agree with others that I'd be interested in hearing your reaction to the 3AM edition. Also maybe her Folklore album? It's totally different, so could be a good comparison.
This this! 100x this! My daughter is a swiftie and was playing music in my car one night and we put this album on, and I fell hard for it. Largely for the production and sound. The comment about bass frequencies in the 20-40 Hz range is spot on! I love the dark pop/trip hop/synth and white noise style production here, and has pulled me into the swiftieverse as a casual observer but big fan of this album! My only dig is that at high volume (I have a ridiculous car stereo) her vocals start to lose some relative output. Probably because she sings more softly, which is actually part of the charm. Great review. I saw one other review from a UA-camr who is a composer that was also really great. Talking about her choice of space and silence and contrast. Very cool stuff!
I’ve been asking reactors with good stuff: what headphones are you using? I want new headphones, but I want something to hear the nuances. I want to keep it under $200, something I can Bluetooth or plug into iPhone/iPad. Any recommendations?
Music is subjective so why not enjoy it! ☺ kebakaori.com/
Taylor, Serban, Laura and Jack Antonoff, are practically a dream team. Theyve won two Album of the years in a 3 year span

Totally agree, most of my favorites are on the 3 am version
there's also 1 extra track - hits different
+ hits different, karma ft. ice spice, snow on the beach ft. more lana del rey, you're losing me
Finally! Someone that acknowledges how amazing Dear Reader is!
@@oriyanbarnes it’s underrated. It’s because it’s slow imo. The bridge is fire & the production is one of my faves on the album

Loved hearing your comments, I would love to also hear your criticism and suggested improvements!!
“This song sounds like Grandmamma’s cookies” about Sweet Nothings 🫶🏻🥺
It's such a good song! lol
I would love for you to listen to the 3am edition, especially the song Glitch
Loved the reaction and analysis 💜💜💜

Fantastic, loved how you explained everything. Please do more Taylor albums or individual songs of hers.
Love your description of Sweet Nothing ❤

Very cool stuff!
It catches you off guard! lol
Hope to see more Taylor ❤️
The contrast between verses and choruses comes down to songwriring imo. Its VERY intentional on Taylor's part
Great stuff man keep it up

You have a unique take. I love it! ❤
Check the description in my vids! Good luck
Hey what happened to your other videos? I remember a vid of you reacting to Charli's Crash but now I cant find it anywhere.
Bruce Springsteen
Isn't it a little disrespectful to react to a Taylor Swift album with only 14 minutes?
all of his reactions are like this, he probably does it because of copyright
Maybe this person wanted to say that favourite swift's number is 13 so making it 14 min is a bit funny 🙂
He only wants to give you a preview of the song and his reactions so you can get contest
