1. American Requiem - lays the cards out on the table about the history of the country, bad ideas, good ideas, judgments. The racist judgment against her that no matter how skilled and qualified she is they will never accept her.

3. 16 Carriages - tells the story of her childhood sacrifice
4. Protector - dedicated to her daughter

I love actual technicians, professionals and experts giving their takes, mixing and mastering is not understood enough. Can you review classic albums like Madonna´s American Life, Michaels HIStory or TLC´s Fanmail?
Oh yeah, Fanmail is a good one. I used to only play that CD in my car because that album deserved to be played on GOOD speakers.
@@SP-fw1xe pulled out the CD recently for the first time in years and it goes so hard, truly one of the best albums of 99.

What do you mean by transient heavy (if I'm hearing that right)?
The transients usually refer to the initial peak of the sound. With guitar it can be the attack of picking the strings or the initial impact when being used to describe drum sounds.
I feel like her vocal is way too sibilant and there is too much hi-end representation in her vocals on a few tracks. The de-essing isn't consistent for me. You can really hear this a lot in 03. "16 Carriages" and when you compare her "S", "T", "K" and other sibilant consonants with 05. "My Rose".
I hear what you mean. I think she records mostly on a 251 so it can get pretty sibilant if you aren't careful, especially with stacking. I've heard WAY worse though lol.
