It would have been nice if it included the Narcissus underneath the ship.
It lacks a lot of details. Not worth it.
You can't see where the landing legs would come out. They have made the retracted legs version to save on detail and cost but still want top dollar.
That NOSTROMO is superb. The DISCOVERY from 2001 would be nice, but sticking with the ALIEN franchise, I'm hoping the next one is the SULACO from ALIENS. Bigger, badder, and nastier...
I'd love to see an Omega class destroyer from Babyon 5 (complete with rotating section).
Received this awesome ship a few weeks ago and totally agree with your excellent review.
very glad to finally have a model of this ship...however, very disappointed that all the antennas that are on the bottom of the hull were not included, and that there's no Narcissus in place on the hull as well....for this price point, this is unacceptable...
I agree with your view on the antenna. They added to the insectoid nature of the ship.
I wish eaglemoss would stop advertising these ships as being Diecast metal when most of them contain much more plastic than metal. This ship looks very plastic
Just came from a Nostromo restoration video, the overall body paint scheme continues into the engine blocks for a singular color. As much as i want this, that 60euro price tag is keeping me at bay. Neca seem to be closer with detailing and paint application with their Nostromo. But they are tight lipped with any mention of calendar release, this is still a fine addition though.
Need Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Barbarella, and of course, the Battlestar line.

Nice review thanks. Would have been good to have clip-in/removeable Landing Pads/Struts
I bought mine and it came with the antennae all bent.The beige on the engine section doesn't look anything like the original model. And the neck of the ship where the windows are seem remarkably lacking in detail. Looks unfinished. I wish my antennae weren't all bent to shit though. This is one I think which should have included the legs rather than the standard Eaglemoss stand. But it will look fantastic with the Oversize Enterprises and with the Discovery line. But if they can't get the antennae issue sorted out, I don't know how they are going to handle that Klingon bird of prey.
Just ordered this, really looking forward to it! There's not enough Alien spaceships out there. Hoping they will do the Sulaco and Prometheus as well!
Very nice, but this is only landing modul, where is the rest of "Nostromo"? I mean the cargo ship! And why I don't see space shuttle "Narcissus" underneath???
Aivar Andressoo - this IS the Nostromo in its entirety. The Nostromo is a cargo ship and towing spacecraft.
What you’re referring to is the refinery, that the Nostromo was towing.
I wish they’d do a model for the refinery as well!

This is a very well done model and it is massive! I would love to see Eaglemoss do a Star Wars and a Babylon 5 series of ships. Not too sure how popular or how well a Babylon 5 run would go since there is probably less than 50 ships. Star Wars on the other hand has the popularity and a large number of space craft to run with.
Id say its worth 25 £ maximum. They all need to stop askin silly prices. And people need to stop paying.

Totally agree. I paid 80€ and I felt ripped off. Didn't like the lack of details. :-(
It's very nice! The price scared me away and the heavy commitment to the ST collection kept me away. But, it is sweet!
One thing that bugs me about this (and similar ships, etc.) is the very thin and weak feeling antenna or other pieces that stick out and tend to bend by themselves. I can't stand seeing that (especially because it messes with the realism). I very carefully try to bend things like that back in place but have broken off my share... or they just bend right back after a while.
I have a figure that holds something and it was always bending too, so I took a thin wire and glued it in the back so you can't see it. It keeps it straight and in place, but I don't think I can pull that off with this Noatromo's antennas. I don't know why they don't just make those types of things as a solid plastic piece. Why bendy?

Yes I agree with the poster below - something Stargate would be nice. The Babylon 5 station would be nice too have too. Perhaps they could do something a bit like the shuttle packs but for other franchises. Perhaps Franchises that don't already have many nice models would be the best ones to pick (Like Babylon 5). Battlestar Galactica already has some decent stuff for example. I suppose if they wanted too there is a few Transformers Space Craft too that someone might like to buy. As well as a decent model of Unicron or Cybertron. a V Mothership or an Independence Day Saucer might be nice too.
A Babylon 5 "Fighter Pack" would be pretty awesome to have too. Heck considering how the Starfury's have their own individual patch painted on them - they can make multiples of the same mould. There is easily enough for 2 or 3 or more 4 packs with just fighters. Since every race has an extensive fleet of ships.
But yes B5 stands out as one of the most under merchandised franchises in recent times.
Not for $150 it isn't.

There coming out with new starships even uss shenzou from discovery they say die cast metal but it more shit plastic and some metal it's kind of disappointing if there going to make a good ship make it strong I own dark horse comics set and it is strong and heavy can someone tell me why there designed breakable

Im really upset that the Nostromo is not very eco friendly,Dammit cant they develop a Solar powered Nostromo or an electric powered one.Its massive engines are contributing to global warming.
