    Thanks for your review
Pretty nice model. Eaglemoss done a great job, adding a lot of details on the rear pylon, shuttle bay especially.

I love your comparison with the Ent D! Very helpful, thanks!

Thanks! The size comparison section of the videos is always something I've been debating the value of but never committed to fully cutting. Makes a lot of sense for this particular model, but feedback like this is always great to hear :)

Thanks! I thought I may have been focusing a bit to much on that comparison but I'm glad to hear you liked it :)

I think thats a weapons pod on this nebula variant. The Phoenix had the sensor pod variant.

I don’t know why they didn’t name it Sutherland. That was the one Data commanded. Also, I think the Honshu was the one that got destroyed in DS9 when Dukat and Sisko get marooned.

People seem to like the newer models much better then the older ones, so thanks for the excuse to purchase this great model :)

Melbourne was an immense improvement from Honshu. I never could straighten that thing out and keep it together. Personally, I'd still like to own the Slackjaw Nebula variant, maybe a corrected Phoenix or even the Farragut... Doubtful, since the standard line has been concluded.
XL Bonchune got the nacelles right, even though they clearly have wonkyness. Probably, as the plastic cures, the parts sag and contort. Look at it from the bow and you'll see the engines aren't square. The painting and sculpt are quite good. This is probably as good as we're going to get without some revolution in manufacturing.
Perhaps the hull could be pitched upward with thin clear plastic shims between the hull and pylons? It might keep the hull from permanently pitching down in relation to the star drive section - when using the OEM stand.

I watched some unboxing videos of brand new exemplare and compared to my used one, too. And the banding is always there, even when the model is fabric new. I guess it's the heavy weight banding it permanently forward. I dont thing it get worth after time... it's always there... The preowner had it on display for a long time and it looks the same like an min 7:40 on the stand.

No one really remembers the Bonchune. Lol 🤣 I have no idea what episode that was in. Maybe the Wolf 359 battle?

Thought I mentioned it in the video, but it's one the the ships that chased down the Prometheus and welcomed Voyager home in Endgame.
But to be fair, I only know that off the top of my head because of this model/video :)

Please help! I want to purchase the XL of the Nebula class another person has reviewed this on UA-cam and hestates that over time the ship is deforming on the stand, he shows this in his video but within the 10 minutes he draws some lines on the screen and shows everything in line then puts on the stand and shows it being not in line with the sensor vs the star drive and the saucer section. I think he is seeing parallax can you help?

This stand is a problem. The cameras don't show if off great, but bending is a problem.
The model comes perfectly strait for everybody, but it's supported by the plastic nacelles meaning the weight of the metal saucer will bend down, and over time permanently deform the model. And there isn't a simple way to bend it back once the damage is done.
Their are pretty simple workarounds that vary depending on your skills/tools. But the simplest fix I talk about in this video where you could just create two small posts to support the saucer on either end. If you have money to throw around apparently some of the Stargate/BSG stands for the circular ships also work (can't remember which), and you could probably find fitting stands for random stull online.
It's a shame because this is a fantastic model, the stand just doesn't work. And if it had been just a bit bigger things would have been fine. My Nebula Class is currently in it's packaging with the intent of creating a custom stand for it when I graduate.

I have had the XL Nebula for a while now and it does indeed sag quite substantially, the bow tips down as the saucer is quite heavy and the stand grips on by the very flimsy nacelle strut which has begun to bend out of shape. I have had to prop the saucer up with a piece of plastic to relieve pressure on the strut, which would have eventually snapped.
This has been a long winded way of saying that reviewer was telling the truth.

I found a solution. At the very top of the deflector dish where the body meets the saucer section there’s a small gap. That’s where the weight of the metal saucer comes down on when you put it on the stand. This creates that misalignment. All you have to do is cut a small piece of cardboard and stick it between the saucer and then deflector dish. Then when you put it on the stand, there’s nowhere for the saucer section to go. It’s weight is now supported by the cardboard which rests on the deflector dish. Hope this helps. It worked on mine and it looks great.

@jdagreek How did your dime solution work out for you? I'm just purchasing an XL Nebula through Master Replicas and I don't want my model to suffer any damage at all when I receive it
