20:35 they are called cable glands. Or since the store is german they call it Kabel Verschraubung. they are usually in Metric (M) sizes referring to the outer diameter. I love them.
Nice setup, showing the unboxing very good. I got my Polyrhachis dives for like 18 months, no way they would be able to fit in there... Keep in mind the colony grows fast. Mine are building on their 6th woven ball as we speak, incl. the pathways between them they completely overcapped. Single queen colony here, and to my guess close to a 1.000 large. 5 full grown cockroaches, 3 crickets, 1 large grasshopper and mealworms every 3 days. Plus sugerwaters and fruitcups. Temperature sits between 24 and 33C
I like your authentic videos much better on this channel. You can turn the feeding platform over so that the magnets are at the bottom. Then you can see the ants better.
Rip hope no more colonies of your die I had a lasius flavus colony die a few weeks ago and a Camponotus modoc colony that the queen looks paralyzed I’m hoping she’s not paralyzed and that she’ll recover but I don’t think she will
