DIY FLANNEL LINING | how to add flannel accents to your jacket!

I was asked to add some bright red plaid flannel accents onto the collar and cuffs of a vintage Levi jacket - so I did the damn thing! The idea of adding the flannel onto the denim is relatively simple, but the process would have been a lot smoother if I had a heavy duty sewing machine that could handle multiple layers of denim. Don't let sewing by hand drive you crazy like it did for me :)
Materials:
~ thrifted denim jacket
~ 1/4 yd. flannel fabric

Nice video! Nothing wrong with hand sewing and it looks so cute. I sew 4-5 layers of denim on a Brother machine with a denim needle. Beyond 4-5 layers likely is better handled on an industrial machine. You hand sewing looks great though!!! TFS
