Definately going to find the perfect blanket and take it and my thrifted jacket to my tailor! Thanks for this very nifty thrifry idea!

Nice! Thanks for the video, I've been looking for something like this and your video was without a doubt the closest to what I had in mind 👌
I'm a 25 year old guy, I've been sewing some 1900's military uniforms for hobbies in the past, but now I have this desert camouflage "jacket" (technically called a BDU) which is more or less just a thin shirt - I thought it could be nice to add some sort of lining like yours into it 🤔 At least I now know how, thanks to you!

Great video, looks awesome. When the pipe floated over the fireplace thing... I liked that it was trippy.

This video was exactly what I was looking for. I am in the process of thrift flipping an oversized long blazer into a dress, but the blazer was unlined. I want to add a lining to the finished dress, but I was stuck on how to do this. This helped me tremendously. Thank you for this fabulous tutorial!

I want to cover an ugly jacket with pretty fabric. So the jacket becomes the lining . Maybe even make interchangeable covers.

Can you please do this same DIY with a pair of denim jeans? Denim is so thin now days they're hardly any good in cold weather. Would love to do this myself

That's not a bad idea! I am planning a trip to Canada in the winter, so I might try this! Thank you for the suggestion!

@@fromRAGtoFASHIONJulieWillaert thank you. It would be nice to see an experts approach to adding denim jean liners without having to build/sew the jeans from scratch. I've got a few store bought jeans that could use some extra warmth.
