You will love Grand Case. Just read today on their local news that there was a robbery attack on a tourist couple at midnight leaving a restaurant so just be mindful anywhere really, not just this place.
Looks like an incredible trip to Anguilla and St. Martin/Sint Maarten! Watching the wind direction to choose the perfect beach sounds like a unique way to experience the islands. I’ll definitely be checking out the airport renovations and beach updates. Thanks for sharing this fresh perspective on such a beautiful destination! Sub and Like 36
Glad you liked it, the wind was definitely a factor for about the entire time on Anguilla and it calmed down a tad when we got to SXM, never seen it that windy before and for so long! Enjoy your trip and thanks for the support! 🙏 ❤️
We have been twice years ago before the hurricane and we remember Baie Rouge as our favorite beach. Did you get to stop by there? Wanted to see how it is now? Also, we always stay in Simpson Bay but maybe with traffic issue we shouldn’t? Just makes it easy to get to both sides usually.
We didn’t visit Les Terres Basses on this visit but we did them in 2022 - our older video has good footage of 3 beaches there including BR if you want to check it out. They were great for walking but strong waves when we were there and rocky at the shoreline. As for traffic, it was bad by the causeway bridge and the main pass north of philipsburg. Marigot had slow sections but not standstill like north of Simpson Bay (Union rd?) Check the traffic on google maps and work around it. Enjoy!
No, it’s more of an invisible border, there are markers to snap a photo but that’s about it. Most times, you don’t even know when you crossed the border other than the shop signs or street names (english vs french)
great video, thanks
Wow, looks awesome.
Great information! Thank you! We'll be staying in Grand Case in May

Do you need to carry passport travelling from dutch to french side?
