      It was confusing to me when I first saw this in scripture. However, the mosaic law was given later, so Joseph hadn't broken any laws, nor did God forbid the marriage.
      Perhaps God used Ephraim and Manassah as a foreshadowing of Christ later being a light to the gentiles?

    This is all good except for one big mistake. You repeatedly say that under the old covenant it was only ethnic Israel who could be 'saved' but this is not true. God repeatedly includes believing Gentiles into the covenant family, I particularly like Caleb who, though representing Judah, was ethnically of the Kenites. Also in Isaiah God speaks to the foreigners and Eunuchs who keep His Sabbaths and says he will give them a name better than that of sons and daughters. (56:1-7). God's house was always meant to be a house of prayer for all nations. He didn't change His mind about that with Jesus. The Jews however, completely missed that truth which was there all along and Paul did need to correct them!

    Appreciate the study it is helpful and clarifying. One side I am sure that will be brought up is how in Old Testament times there where people like Ruth and Rahab who joined Israel. However, it seems clear that the framework Paul is using he is not trying to use those examples in his illustration. Instead he looks to be using the status in general.

    Very good teaching. I do have one small quibble towards the end (3rd section). You made the statement that all who came out of Egypt were the family (physical descendants). So, the quibble is the Exodus reads that it wasn't just family, but also included gentiles servants who also came out. This is also seen later on in the laws for those who were outsiders who joined Israel (nation). I would clarify and reword your statement on who all came out of Egypt and were members of the "nation" when it was formed at Mount Sinai. That was my quibble.

      Great clarification, Thomas. And although there may have been a "mixed multitude" (Ex 12:38) with Israel at Mount Sinai, the covenant God made was not with "all present," but rather with the "house of Jacob and the people of Israel" (Exodus 19:3). The phrase "house of..." is the ancient Hebrew way of referring to one's family across generations. So the "house of Jacob" specifically means the physical descendants of Jacob (who was renamed "Israel" in Gen 32:28), _aka_ "the people of Israel," what we know today as the Jewish people. It was an ethnic group that Yahweh set apart for Himself. This is why in the Torah, Gentiles are always called out separately from Israel and labelled sojourners, foreigners, and strangers.

If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. [19] Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” [20] That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. [21] For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. [22] Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off. [23] And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. [24] For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.
      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:12‭-‬13‬ ‭ESV‬
      [12] remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. [13] But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
      Ephesians‬ ‭2:18‭-‬19‬ ‭ESV‬
      [18] For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. [19] So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,

    Out of curiosity, I watched a couple of your videos. Respectfully… good job! However, I would ask you to elaborate on a couple key points.
    1. For me to buy in, you would have to answer Matt 5:17. I find it impossible to be believe that Paul, an elite scholar and theologian would contradict Messiah.
    2. Paul referred to several laws in Romans. The law of sin. The law of sin and death, the mosaic law… isn’t it possible Paul is speaking about either of the first two laws and not the mosaic law?
    After my own study - I cannot find any scripture outside of Paul where there is so much confusion.
    I’ve gone deep too. Exploring the different styles of Rabbinical thought that Paul implored to make his points. And I still come away believing Paul would not teach something that directly conflicts with what Yeshua taught.

      Great post Jason, I’ve been digging into the same issue for years on Matt 5:17 and Paul’s teachings… what I’ve found is Peter, Stephen, Paul, James, and Jude all teach salvation by faith that is then followed by obedience to the commands. Stephen’s matrydom was literally rooting on the fact that lies were told that he was teaching against the law… so if these are clearly stated as false testimonies then by deduction he was clearly teaching obedience, and Jude is Jesus’s brother…
      what I find is Jesus and his disciples time and time again teaching obedience to Gods commands, and at the same time teaching the removal of man’s traditions (Judaism)
      It’s become crystal to me and I cannot find anything in the Bible teaching ANYTHING different.

    • @TheBiblicalRoots
      @TheBiblicalRoots  8 місяців тому +1

      Thanks, Jason. These are great questions which I have had to wrestle with myself. In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them” (Matt. 5:17). And He added, “For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished” (v. 18). Some read this as an end-times or second coming statement. But the problem with that interpretation is that much more than and iota or dot of the law has _already passed away!_
      Here’s one example: The Law of Moses required continual, repeated animal sacrifices to atone for sin (Lev 16). But because of the sacrifice of Jesus, Hebrews 10:18 says, “there is no longer any offering for sin.” Why? Because Christ was our atoning sacrifice, literally “once for all” (Heb. 10:10). But here’s the thing: These and other Old Covenant laws didn't pass away because they were abolished or thrown out like an old pair of shoes! No, it's because they were fulfilled-they had served their God-ordained purpose and came to an end because of the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus (Gal. 3:23-25).
      Let me put it another way. I teach and believe that obedience is God’s “love language.” Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). And I'm sure you would agree that not every command that God has given applies to every person at all times. Some of His commands only apply to certain people (i.e., men, women, parents, Levitical priests) or for certain times (i.e., building an ark, gathering manna, while in exile). And I'm sure you would also agree that we are each only expected to keep the commands of God that apply to us. The NT expressly teaches that many of the commands given under the Old Covenant Law do not apply to Christians today. (ex. The repeated blood sacrifices for sin I mentioned above.) We still serve God and obey His commands, “But now we are released from the law, having died with Christ to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code” (Rom 7:6). So if we want to put a classification of "law" on it, Christians follow the Law of Christ.
      Blessings, Rob

      Hi Jose... Yes, all who are counted righteous by faith are citizens of heaven...
      Hebrews 11:10 "For he (Abraham) was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God."
      Hebrews 11:16 "But as it is, they (OT saints counted righteous by faith) desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city."
      Hebrews 13:14 “For here we (NT saints) have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.”
      Both OT & NT saints, made perfect together (Hebrews 11:40), constitute the bride of Christ and seek the city to come, the new Jerusalem (Revelation 21:2), which God has prepared for them.
      Revelation 3:12 "The one who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name."
      I believe Scripture reveals that the glorified saints, ransomed by the blood of the Lamb from every tribe and language and people and nation, and redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb, will serve as a kingdom of priests (Revelation 1:5-6; 5:9) in the Millennial (Messianic) Kingdom, judging the twelve tribes of Israel (Matthew 19:28), the world (1 Corinthians 6:2), and angels (1 Corinthians 6:3).

      Hi Dexter! How do Ezekiel's "two sticks" explain the mystery of the Gentiles? Those two sticks represent the reunification of the Israelites into one nation, under one king (David), and one covenant with God. This prophecy was seen as a promise of restoration and reconciliation for the people of Israel, who had experienced division, exile, and hardship. It also signifies God's faithfulness to His covenant promises and His ability to bring about restoration even in the face of apparent impossibility.

I memorized many scriptures out of it over the years and I absolutely **_know_** that the word **_demons_** used to be all through it. But today that word is not anywhere in there! It was replaced with **_devils._** And the only place I've ever read the word **_wineskins_** was in my bible, but it's not in it any more either. It was replaced with **_bottles._** And now **_unicorns, easter, matrix, castles, damsels, stuff, corn, colleges, banks, employment, schools, missles, tires, mufflers, manifolds, engines, highways, suburbs, pavement, presidents, doctors, pilots, sheriffs, beer, dumb ass, India, Spain, Italy, ferryboats, couches_** and lots of other words are in my bible that I never saw in it my whole life! Many of these words are anachronisms (they didn't even exist in 1611!) It never talked about men with milk in their breasts or fathers nursing babies either, but now it does! Isaiah 11:6 used to say the **_lion_** shall lie down with the lamb, not the **_wolf_** shall also dwell with the lamb! Lion represents Jesus and wolf is associated with Satan! There are 15 films in my playlist will show you plenty of undeniable "residue" showing that ''wolf'' has replaced "Lion". (Residue is what they call all the things Satan missed as he was changing our world.) Luke 17:34 used to say "two shall be in one bed, one shall be taken and the other one left", but now it says "two **_men_** shall be in one bed.......! And the following verse said "two women shall be grinding at the mill together......" and now it just says "two women shall be **_grinding together_** ......! So now the bible makes it sound like some homosexuals are going to be ''raptured"! BTW **_nobody's going to be "raptured" until after the tribulation. The Wrath of God follows._*
      But *this is the BIGGIE,* in Luke 19:27 it has Jesus saying "And those mine enemies that would not that I should reign over them, bring hither and *SLAY THEM BEFORE ME!"* It did say _eshew_ them away! This change makes Christians sound like radical extremists!! *Millions of Christians will be killed because of this verse!!!* And I know that this is a parable, but the king Jesus was talking about was Himself, the King of Kings! The film titled *Satan's Agents and Doctrines of Demons* which is in my playlist is just about this verse, and is the most important video most of you have ever seen. (It has Chuck Missler and Chuck Lawson in it!)
      *I memorized the Lord's prayer as a boy because Jesus told us to say it, and I have said it tens of thousands of times, and it absolutely did not say **_which_** art in heaven, it said **_who_** art in heaven, it didn't say **_in earth,_** it was **_on earth._** And it now says forgive us our **_debts_** instead of our **_trespasses!!!_*
      *God has sent His strong delusion to all of the people that never received the love of the truth! What's scary is, so far that appears to be almost all believers! This incredible phenomenon they're calling the Mandela effect is absolutely real, but it should actually be called the Daniel 7:25 effect because that's where God said He would give the Antichrist power to do this, (''change times and laws''). I first became aware of some of the bible changes in 2014 before I ever had a computer or had heard of the Mandela effect. But since 2016 I've watched many hundreds of videos on the subject, and saved some of the best and most important ones for proving your bible has been changed and pointing out all the places this was talked about in end time prophecies that we had previously misinterpreted in my playlist which you can see by 👉 typing into UA-cam (PROOF OF BIBLE CHANGE RESIDUE JUNKIE)* 👈
      *By the time you have seen all these films which point out all the misinterpreted prophecies being fulfilled **_supernaturally_** you will have grown MUCH closer to Jesus the never changing Word of God and your faith will be 1,000% stronger ... GUARANTEED!!!!!!!*
      *Even though I will no longer read any bible, (unless Jesus changes them back), I continue to study what God's word said by seeing what scriptures have been changed with proof of what was originally written. I urge you all to do the same, while you still can, because when the lights go out, all we'll have then is hard copies of the bible Satan wants us reading! At that point Amos **8:12** will be fulfilled where it says we will no longer be able to find His words anywhere again.*
      *This is without question the biggest and most important event since the day of Pentecost! When you see absolute proof that the miraculous fulfillment of end time prophecies are happening with your own eyes, and how close we are to our Savior's return, it's the most faith strengthening and exciting thing that you've ever experienced!*
      *God bless you all!!!* ❤✝️💪🏻

Both Jew, and gentile believers in Christ - the Israel of God. Grafting in also ties in with Ez 47:22,23, and Rev21:12, 22:14. First, I would like to say that the word translated as Law in English is the word Torah in Hebrew and the word Torah should be translated as "teaching, showing, instruction." God did not do away with His teachings, showings, and instructions that He gave to Moses...
      Hebrews 8:10 "For this is the New Covenant I will make with the House of Israel after those days, says Yehovah: I will put My Laws (My teachings, showings, instructions) into there minds, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
      Hebrews 8:7-13 comes from the promise in Jeremiah 31: 31-34 "Behold , days are coming ," declares Yehovah, "when I will make a New Covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,"declares Yehovah. "But this is the covenant which I will make with the House of Israel after those days," declares Yehovah, " I will put My Law (My teaching, showing, instructions) within them and ON THEIR HEARTS I WILL WRITE IT; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, 'Know Yehovah,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,"declares Yehovah, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.
      That's why Yeshua (Jesus) said, in John 16:7 ,"But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
      John 16:13 "But when He , the Spirit of Truth' comes, He will guide you into all Truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
      It is the Holy Spirit who writes the Law of God upon our hearts. This is the NEW COVENANT.
      Romans 7:9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, If indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But If anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, He does not belong to Him.
      The whole point of Yeshua dying and being raised again was that when He died He Released His Spirit to come and lead and guide us by His Spirit. The shedding of His own blood cleansed us so that His Spirit could come and dwell in us. This is the New Covenant.@@salpezzino7803

    • @BrotherInChrist
      @BrotherInChrist 8 місяців тому

      Hi tbishop... Yes, the Old Testament ekklesia was comprised of the twelve tribes of Israel, sojourners, and then proselytes. If sojourners or proselytes were counted righteous by faith, their names are written in the Lamb's book of life, and are sons of Abraham. The nation of Israel believed that all who were natural descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob belonged to God (See John 8), but Jesus confronted them because they didn't believe (the ones who did believe becames disciples).
      The "grafting in" concept only applies to those counted righteous by faith (all the saints in salvation history)--the "cultivated olive tree" in Romans 11. In the New Testament ekklesia, only born-again believers, counted righteous by faith (repentant overcomers who endure to the end) are sons of Abraham, and grafted in to the cultivated olive tree, or "Israel of God."
      Hebrews 10:35 "Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward."
      Hebrews 10:36 "For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised."
      Hebrews 10:37 "For, 'Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay;'"
      Hebrews 10:38 "But my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”
      Hebrews 10:39 "But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls."

    He cut off the good olive branches (scribes, priests, and unbelieving in Israel), and graft in the wild olive branches (blind, publicans, harlots, fishermen, sinners) that made up the faithful little flock. Eventually, even faithful Gentiles would get into the kingdom before faithless and fruitless rulers and priests in Israel (Acts 10:34-35).
    The wild olive graft of Romans 11 is the faithful nation that bears fruit in Matthew 21. It was the people of that wild nation that continued in God’s goodness by faith to receive Israel’s kingdom.

    If Gentiles were not welcome into the first covenant, then what are your thoughts on Isaiah 56 and a mixed multitude, meaning Israelites and Egyptians, at Mt. Sinai when they entered into that covenant (Exodus 12:38). Exodus 12:49: "There shall be one Torah for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”

    • @TheBiblicalRoots
      @TheBiblicalRoots  8 місяців тому +1

      Hi, Sarah! Although there may have been a "mixed multitude" (Ex 12:38) with Israel at Mount Sinai, the covenant God made was not with "all present," but rather with the "house of Jacob and the people of Israel" (Exodus 19:3).
      As for the "one law" verses, here's a teaching we made on that exact topic which clears up some of those misconceptions: *Was the Law of Moses given to the Gentiles, too?* ua-cam.com/video/lM3tlzp9HnE/v-deo.html

It says all of the people agreed to enter into covenant with the Most High. This is what Isaiah 56 tells us, that Gentiles/foreigners were always welcome into the covenant. They just had to forsake the ways of the nation and keep the Father's commands just as the Prophets, Messiah and Acts 15 tells us.

    In the old covenant, Membership into YHWH’s family was NOT based on ethnicity. YHWH gave the mixed multitude the opportunity to join Israel as long as they accepted His Torah and went into covenant with Him. Jews and Gentiles that accept Christ are no longer Jew or Gentile. We are Israel!
    Research Jew. Judaism did not exist at Sinai. And the word Gentile means of the nations.

    I gave some thought to this. People seem to be so wrapped up on what Jesus looked like. My question is, will this affect you? When you finally see him do you really think it's going to matter what color he is? If you are a different color than what you imagined him to be is that going to change how you feel? I think many should think on this because if it matters that much then it says much about who we are. When our Lord returns he will put new robes on us. So we need to really get past all this. I see many times throughout Bible history that different kings had many wives from different people groups all over so I'm sure their were many different vibrant colors. We are all one blood though. I do understand his point on the picture though. Another thought, Jesus is , I would think the cross between his mother ( her gene history) and God's own seed so think about that and let that sink in.

      Hi, Aaron. When I say "replacement theology" I am speaking of the position that the church has replaced Israel in God's sovereign plan, and that the Jews are no longer God’s chosen people, and God does not have specific future plans for the nation of Israel. In light of passages like Romans 11 and Revelation 7, I don't think the Bible supports that position.

      Curious also, what does it take to be a member of God's chosen (ethnic?) people Israel? Do you need to have a certain percentage of Jewish blood? What if you have no blood but you become a citizen of Israel? Do you still think there are proselytes today? What if someone decides to convert to Judaism by following the Old testament requirements. Do they become a member of God's chosen people? It worked that way in the Old testament. Does it still work that way?

Ethnic distinctions are God's idea and only He can decide who gets to be a member of his ethnic people Israel. (Whether or not there's a man-made way in through intermarriage or religious conversion, I have no idea.) But ethnicity, just like gender or social status, has nothing to do with our salvation (Gal. 3:28-29). It's only about faith in Jesus.

    What did GOD mean by the mixed multitude. Why did he say there is one law for you and the foreigners in your land. What exactly did Jesus teach the people. What about him teaching in the synagogue. What did he teach. Why is any reference or verse in the old testament used today if Jesus fulfilled everything. Why did he not just say that the laws have been abolished. Why did he have to fulfill something that is obsolete since the nation no longer existed and the OT laws had been corrupted and added to by the leaders. That appears to be what Jesus was speaking against not GOD laws. GOD'S laws are not a burden if you read them. Not for righteousness or salvation but to know and want to obey GOD. I guess the question is what does it mean to be Christian. I believe Christ came and died for my sins. Ok! What are sins and why do I need him. That is never completely explained I'm the church

    Gentiles, in the Old Testament, could become a part of the kingdom and nation of Israel.
    If a gentile soujourned in Israel wanted to stay and accept the God of Israel, then they would become a part of the tribe they had been sojourning in. For example, if it was the tribe of Joseph, then they became a part of the tribe of Joseph and their children then born were conidereal natural born isralites. Ruth for example.
    How do you factor this concept in your study?
    Matt 5. The law and prophets will not be done away until heaven and earth pass. This law is talking about God's law given to Moses.
    And anyone who teaches it has shall be called least in the kingdom of God.
    Look outside. Has this heaven and earth passed? No.
    That law is now written on our hearts, if not what law is written on our hearts in new covenant.
    Also, Ezekiel says sacrifices and priests will start back up in the New Temple. This agrees with God's words through prophets that the Priesthood would not ever pass away as long as the stars and creation existed. This is because of what Jesus said in Matthew 5, that until those stars and heaven pass away the law and prophets are still in affect.
    Isaiah and other prophets speak of the future temple and how gentiles will come from the nations to worship there. Also how Jesus will come and build the temple....and it's good.

      Paul was given the revelation of the mystery (Ephesians 3). This was not made known in other ages (Ephesians 3:5). Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are about Jesus coming to fulfill what was promised to the Jewish people Romans 15:8 "Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers". Once the jewish people rejected Jesus, at the stoning of Stephen full of the Holy Spirit, the nation of Israel fell (Romans 11:11-12) and were blinded. God then called Paul with a new ministry to the Gentiles, offering them free salvation by believing in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
      The message to Israel was to receive Jesus as their promised Messiah, so they could receive the earthly kingdom of Israel (Acts 1:6). Today, Israel is fallen (Romans 11:11-12), so that ministry of the 12 to that nation did not succeed in the first century. God called Paul with a new ministry, that will continue until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in (Romans 11:25), then God will save Israel as the prophets foretold (Romans 11:26). The 4 gospels, and Hebrews to Revelation, deal with the ministry of Jesus to the nation of Israel and Israel's earthly Kingdom. Paul's letters deal with the Body of Christ during Israel's fall, the mystery revealed to him (Ephesians 3).

      Paul when preaching to his gentile audience, tells them that the revelation of the mystery, which Peter never made any mention of, nor did Jesus in his earthly ministry, was kept secret since the world began, "but now" is made manifest. The phrase "but now" appears many times in Paul's letters (Romans 3:21, Romans 6:22, Romans 7:6, Romans 11:30, Romans 16:26) referring specifically to the time after the resurrection of Jesus and the subsequent fall of Israel (Romans 11). It follows then that the "revelation of the mystery" that was kept secret, was not known in previous ages or by the prophets of Israel. This is important, which is why Paul re-itterates it elsewhere;
      Colossians 1:26-27 "Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory"
      1 Corinthians 2:7 "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory"
      Ephesians 3:3-6 "How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel"
      The mystery, which was revealed to Paul, was clearly not known in previous generations. The previous generations who were given the prophets of Israel, were given prophecies concerning the rise of Israel as the nation above the nations (Isaiah 2, Isaiah 66), but had no knowledge that God would do something as a result of their fall. The fall of Israel means that Israel's covenants and laws are no longer applicable, requiring a new ministry and a new minister (Paul) to deliver the commandments of God to us;
      1 Corinthians 14:37 "If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord."

      Hi, Sonia! The passage in 1 John says, “Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness” (1 John 3:4). The word behind “lawlessness” is ἀνομία (anomia), which speaks of rebellion and disobedience in general. Its not limited to breaking the law of Moses in particular.
      The Bible defines sin most simply as rebellion against God. It is willfully disobeying His will and His ways. For those under the law of Moses, breaking that law was sinful, of course. But sin is much bigger than that! In fact, “sin was in the world _before_ the law was given” (Rom. 5:13, see Gen 4:7; 13:13; 18:20; 39:9). So if we merely define sin as a transgression of the Law of Moses, then Adam and Eve never sinned, because they did not break any of the Mosaic commands.
      Blessings, Rob

    This sort of thing was my first big complaint against Messianic Judaism over 20 years ago. The irony too was at the time, I was set to become a minister in a church coming from the Assyrian Church of the East, one of the ancient Syriac Churches descended from the Jews of the Diaspora along the Silk Road. In terms of having an organic link to the faith, I would have had one more than my Messianic rabbi friend who was raised in a family with no religion. Besides this, I researched the history of Messianic Judaism and pointed out how Jews for Jesus and other groups are a modern phenomenon. I actually said that the Olive Tree verse is flipped, Messianic Judaism is coming out of Christianity. It has been Christianity that preserved the Faith, etc. and that saint Paul if he were writing today, would likely point out how such people should be grateful for the Gospel they have received from Christianity.

    Yes, your presentation seems impressive, but unfortunately, teacher, all your efforts are useless. nowhere in the writings of the Jews is anything prophesied about the hero jesus from the new testament, which together are an invention and a lie from the first letter to the last. starting with paul, whom christianity has the shamelessness to call the holy apostle, for real? a liar and a cheat in everything he wrote in his letters and continuing with the 4 gospels that often contradict each other and sometimes copy each other. with all your efforts to your disappointment, G-d never concluded a covenant with other nations regardless of religion but concluded a covenant only with the People of ISRAEL. these teachings of yours catch the flock of the gullible who do not want to use their brains and open their eyes so that they can see the lie that is called the new testament and of which you are a follower. but you have to understand one thing that Mashiah's role is not to save someone, his title is not that of a savior

      Ruth was a Moabite
      The mixed multitude went out of Egypt with the children of Israel. God made a covenant with Noah who was before Abraham.
      Isaiah 53 speaks of Jesus as the suffering servant, rejected and despised. He came to his own and his own knew him not. Joseph foreshadows a lot of this.
      Jesus is the righteous branch, the root of Jesse, son of David, lion of the tribe of Judah. The Lord has laid upon Him (singular) the iniquity of us all (all Israel) For God says none is righteous, not one, and all our works are as filthy rags.
      Jesus was prophecied to be a light to the gentiles. The Lord says "I will call a foolish nation (gentiles) my people. I will be found by them who were not looking for me (gentiles) All fulfilled in Jesus/Yeshua.
