I purchased your pattern Carefree Cardigan. I am having difficulty understanding the dec in the sleeves. TSS till there are 2 loops, repeat???? Do you have a video for this ? Thank you!
I purchased the green to from you more than a year ago, i was a total beginner and I didn’t know Tunisian crochet was different from regular crochet. And here i am finally deciding to learn it haha. May i know why we’re supposed to push the loops together? Thank you!
@@CricutWithHanin Better late than never! (Truly. I'm proud of you! Learning something new can be daunting.) As for your question, you want to push the loops together on the Return Pass bc if you left them spaced, it would be quite difficult to yarn over and pull through 2. And thank you so very much for supporting my family and me by purchasing a pattern. I truly hope you enjoy making and wearing it!
Great question! I actually just posted a video on my Tiktok about this 5 days ago! (The photo has the caption "prevent curling".) Let me know if you can find it. If not, I'll be happy to explain here 😄
I start my starting chain a hook size down. So if you’re going to use a 6MM hook for your project, start your starting chain with a 5MM and keep the tension loose for the first couple of rounds. Hope this works 🫶🏼
Press it gently when you've finished your project. Then the rolling disappears. Tunisian crochet allways rolls, some stitches more than others. But if you just press it when you're done, it becomes noce and flat. I allways press using wet towels - place a wet towel on the floor (like a tiled bathroom floor) place your project on the towel and pin it down so that it becomes flat and all measures are the way you want them to be. Place another wet towel on top. Then walk around on top of the whole thing (place the pins so that you're not hurt while doing this). Then let it dry, at least over night. It it's not dry after say 12 hours, I remove the top towel.
That all depends on what weight yarn you use! I personally like to go up 2 hook sizes for this stitch. (For example, if your yarn label recommends a 3.5 mm hook, I would use a 5.5 mm)
I love how you explained and showed the stitch, simple and easy to follow. ❤ Thank you

I have a pattern that requires 63 chains. I don't understand what that attachment is. And where you get it from.

I’m no expert but I’d imagine it makes it easier to pull the next loops through them where as having them spaced out would make it difficult and
Probably make a loser stitch

It's like both Knitting and Crocheting.
@@bettyottman1718 Yes! Isn't it so fun?!
It's rolling up so bad. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I don't really want to put a border

I'm a total beginner, to do this stitch for a baby blanket what would be the best hook to use?
