    You should maybe let ppl know the struts will have to be reinstalled 180 degrees. Maybe provide proper torque specs and not just impact everything back together... as well as you should loosen the upper and lower control arm bolts to let the control arms move more freely during install then put the wheels and tires back on, put the truck in the ground and torque the upper and lower CA bolts. This leaves less stress on the bushings in the CAs and will make them last longer after doing the level.

    The Supreme Suspension 2.5" is the same exact kit but the install calls for a torque wrench (recommended whenever working on ball joints and tie rod ends as well) for the lower strut bolt, doesn't call for removal of the caliper, and GOSH--no tightening of the axle nut (which was never loosened)! This video is a slam (note the numerous phony positive comments).

    When installing my one cv axle came out of the "socket" causing it to be locked into place I could not get it back into the socket 2 hours later i said screw it and bought a new cv axle. When swinging out control arm it must of came undone this was very stressful instal because of this. It was such a easy install but quickly became very frustrating. I guess loosening the cv axle and axle nut would of prevented this 🤔

      Why are u yelling?.. and there is so much wrong with your entire sentence. It does not matter which way you put the " strut" back in. My kid could turn the top to realign the bolts.. no spring compressor needed. Nothing rubs either way. Yet I still dont recommend this without aftermarket uca's. • @AmericanTrucksRam
      @AmericanTrucksRam  4 роки тому +1

      Leveling kits like this will always put a little extra stress on your truck's upper control arms because of how they change your factory suspension geometry. Leveling kits from 1-2 inches won't put too much stress on your factory arms, but anything larger might be worth installing with a new set of upper control arms. -Zach

    • @MsTryggvi

      Depends on the lifting pads. If they are taller than 2” i would recommend getting longer ball joints. If you do suspension lift, ball joins and balance ends will wear more frequently. you should also take the car to an wheel alignment shop every time you install some lift! it is very important!

    • @AmericanTrucksRam
      @AmericanTrucksRam  5 років тому +1

      I don't have the specific measurement for these spacers here, but generally spacers for independent front suspensions like your RAM are generally shorter than the height they lift the truck. This is because of how the spacer interacts with the rest of the suspension. I would reach out to MotoFab directly with their part number if you are concerned or are looking for the exact height.
