you need to do Rebel bumper installs ?
I appreciate the two-part design with the winch plate and recovery hooks being the heavy-duty base of the set. It will certainly make assembly a lot easier.
I dig those M1A2 bumpers by Smittybilt. It's sucks that Smittybilt is out of stock at this time.

What about the debri cover in front of the tire? How did you reinstall that with the new bumper?
Noticed an immediate flaw. How is someone supposed to get their fingers and the shackle pin behind the bumper sheet metal to mount the shackle? Looks a bit tight in regards to access.
The light bracket bolt also needs a large washer so the lock washer and nut don't slide crooked in the mounting slot.
This looks like the best of the aftermarket bumpers for the 4th Gen Ram. However I can't seem to find it on the website. Looks like it isn't being built anymore. Shame really. This is the best alternative for those who wish they had the same approach angle as the 2017 Rebel. Others don't look as good from the side profile.

How come some bumpers only fit 2013-2018 and others fit 2009-2018 on the 1500
The bottom of the grill changes in 2013, this bumper wouldn’t fit the 09-12 unless you change the grill

When towing with a 1500 it’s all about the payload,how does this bumper effect that?
I'm thinking of getting one but I don't like how the inner fender hangs down. Can anything be done about that
You could always trim it to match the angle of the bumper
We recommend trimming the inner fenders to match the bumper length for permanent installation! We just left ours hang since we re-installed factory hardware after this was shot. -Zach
My favorite part was pretending to remove and/or install different bolts. It was hilarious.

I was looking at one of these online. After watching this video I'm no longer interested. I thought this was a heavy duty bumper but the way he's moving it around without any help and has it resting on his lap tells me different.
Yeah... I'm kinda thinking the same..the winch plate and brackets super solid setup. But wtf? What are you looking at instead?
