  • In this video I dye the bumpers and side rails black on my VW Caddy, After looking into the best option to change bumper colour I decided to use plastic dye and dye them black (originally anthracite and also a bit scuffed on the rear)
Even though the change is subtle the bumpers came up really well and just need to touch up a few areas on the front and the back bumper. I am also going to use the plastic dye for some parts of the cabin when i get onto that bit.
Hope you enjoyed the video, see you for the next one where it is getting lowered.

Had a lot of people asking for the links of the items i am using so in the interests of channel transparency I have decided to set up affiliate links which means I get a % of revenue earned from items purchased when the link is clicked and turns into a purchase. I have done this in the hope the few pounds I get will help me move the channel forward.
To stay legal I have had to say that my video includes paid advertisement even though I purchased the products myself. I only share them if they are worth it, as well as including a sentence confirming they are affiliate links. These do not negatively impact the viewer in any way.

Lovely van mate, just wondering after the dye dries does it still rub off on your hands? Thinking of doing the door handles too

Old video now I know. But wondered how it held up over the long term, gow often did you have to refresh the wirth stuff?
Were you're bumper black originally or the dark VW grey plastic?

Never refreshed it. The side strips need doing again but bumpers are fine. Mine were dark grey plastic
