You can also print onto tissue paper. Attach it to a piece of printer paper, top and bottom with sticky tape. Shiny side down. Ensure what you want to print doesn’t come close to the tape. Used this method a lorry load of times.
You can seal this with one of Polyvine heavy duty varnishes. I use this varnish for tile coasters and is heat, uv and waterproof. Trust me, I have tried a lot stuff and learnt in hard way😅
Hi Gour! I have decoupaged with very thin paper as well. Just use the thinnest printing paper. It is a little more challenging to smooth it out but it does work!
You can find lots of napkin decoupage pieces on Amazon. I would think that a lot of others would carry them as well. Hobby Lobby, Overstock, Joannes, etc.. I would do a search on Duck, Duck.com
@@thegirlatthebeach3221 Corrected the pronunciation. If you are teaching someone how to do something you should use the correct word. She thanked me, you chose to make it political. 🙄.
It’s ‘scissors’, not ‘scissor’. Scissors is a plural noun. Scissor is a verb. Nice job though. Use a small wad of saran wrap to smooth out the napkin instead of the hard handle of a paintbrush, you will have more control and accuracy around the nooks and crannies and much less chance of tearing with your fingers tips.
So beautiful. Thank you for the precise directions.
Very nice! Love that duck!

May I use this for a soap dish or can you show one of your shell soap dish techniques

Instead of applying Gold leaf/gold paint, could gold spray paint not be used? It would seem easier. 🤗
i suppose you may, just be careful to cover the image. good suggestion, i might try the metallic gold or silver spray paint!
Thank you 🦋
I use metallic wax - you can use finger, small cloth etc. Looks beautiful also seals edges
I use gold pen
Looks beautiful 😻- but it is MOD Podge, not MODGE Podge 😊
yes, thanku!
🤭 but I got it...great straightforward instructions!
Beautiful shell dish, but please.....it is MOD Podge. Not “Modge ”Podge. No G in Mod. Great work though.
aaaah yes! thank you for the correction!
Seriously? You're correcting spelling? Lol! You and everyone knew what she meant. Gees! Typical liberal
