FROM ALAMOGORDO NM TO CLOUDCROFT NM...a climb of approx. 4200'!!! Easy, Peasy! No problem...just a long 16 mile uphill drive. AMAZON LINK: amzn.to/3YJnGLU thank you!!!
Rattle Tips: Check the microwave mounting & frame to be sure everything is tight. If that’s good, remove the turn table to see if that helps. The other you already know is the cover to the stove. I fold a cup towel in fourths & put it at the front of the stove between the lid & burners. Also, the glass over the stove has bug round fasteners with set screws. Check them often as they come lose while driving, fall off & hit the glass stove top. CRACK!! Ask me how I know.
Realistically how much sooner do the "speed racers" get there before you? 5-20 minutes? Maybe!!!! Often times further down the road I will see them on the side of the road with flashing "Berries and Cherries" behind them!!!
Love New Mexico's Blue skies, thanks for sharing

Rusty, I had a rack inside my convection/microwave that would rattle when I went over a bump. Maybe that's the rattle you are hearing?
thanks...I've been putting a towel under the rack
Remember the gov. wants you to only drink 2 beers, isn't a week.

Rusty, what percent grade was the hill you were driving up? Did I understand you correctly, you were going max speed up the hill at 42 mph? Thank you
