Did you use a concrete that has a fiber in it? They say it last longer and don’t need a bunch of rebar, but you put a bunch in and that’s ok you won’t have to worry about it cracking. Good job Rusty, take the bull by the horns
The fact that this contractor couldn't think to go to the same concrete factory that you were able to and then all of a sudden he can show up in an hour? Yeah, that's a problem.
Back-in-the-day, I had my heart set on having a flagstone patio. Called a contractor, he gave me the price. My husband (ex-now & R.I.P.) said no way! The contractor then constructed an exposed aggregate patio with a border that was stained in a contrasting color. It was very nice. But I never got my flagstone patio!
The construction work challenge (ie the concrete job) sounds pretty typical for New Mexico. I personally don't get it, having lived in other western states. 😮
We have rattlesnakes and copperheads in West Virginia and you don’t mess with either one. I don’t like snakes at all. I know some are good but I still don’t like them lol
