Speaking as a young fan of The Human League who’s discovered their music in recent years and developed a geeky obsession with analog sounding synth-pop, they’re still unsurpassed masters of it.
That synth bass is TOO good to ignore.
Credo is a must have album. Fact.
This song has become very addictive. I wasn't sure about it when I first heard it. I am impelled to correct anyone who sees The Human League as an '80's band,They've been around since 1977 & still going strong now. Thank goodness.

one of the best songs they've ever made together with don't you want me, being boiled and all i ever wanted. Human League is great. I saw them also live different ttmes. One of the best live acts from the last 10 years.
The league are just dazzling! Phil has such great presence of mind when putting a new l.p. together, he always employs producers, engineers etc, ahead of the curve, and still has that singular vision he rarely deviates from............

I've been lucky enough 2 have met the 2 Human League sweet ❤️s ie Queens Joanne Catherall ❤️ and Susan Sulley ❤️ and King Philip Oakey 2 ather a Ace Human League gig that I've seen. 18 times in total now and hopefully it'll be 19 times next year. i love the human league and have done for years, i certainly agree that this song should have been a big chart hit. it should definetly have had more radio airplay on some of the more mainstream radio stations than it actually got. cracking song!! long live the human league!!
to all the haters the human league are one of the most accomplished electronic groups of all time sure this song is no " sound of the crowd' or "Empier state human" but i think at this point they are aloud to do ANY thing they want to and get away with it im sooooo HAPPY they are back!!!!

And I have seen the Human League play live 16 times now and I have been lucky Enough to have met my favourite band member of the Human League i.e. Joanne Catherall 5times now and Susan Sulley 4times now. And I have got a nickname for the Human League sweethearts ie Joanne Catherall and Susan Sulley and Phillip Oakey 2.I nickname Joanne and Susan Queen and Phillip Oakey King ather Chess peaces and the fact that I simply adore the Human League sweethearts and Phillip Oakey ofcorse. 4ever. And I even think that Joanne Catherall has got some magic powers inside her 2wards me . 4 4years ago m8 and in Brighton ather I've had met Joanne and gave Joanne loads of hand written love letters and all nice 1s ofcorse. And All starting with the words 2Queen Joanne sweetheart on them ather Chess peaces and the fact that l love Joanne Catherall epy. I somehow managed to get a free taxi from Brighton bound to Portsmouth where I live ather I missed the last train home. And I 4got 2bring my epilepsy med with me and it cost southern railway company over £100 4the taxi back home 2my flat in Portsmouth where I live. And Queen Joanne Catherall sweetheart l will glady be yr 1man in my heart. And m8 that story about the 3 taxi back home is so Romantic and it's true. And m8 I even got something significant in common with the Human League sweethearts ie Joanne Catherall and Susan Sulley and that's our tanlet is self tault. 4the 2Human League sweethearts r very very very good self tault signers and I am a self tault sound affect impressionist. Funny 'Sound of the crowd' was mentioned as that tune popped into my head when i heard this! I always thought they should have got the likes of Stuart Price a.k.a Les Rythmes Digitales etc to have worked with them! Would have been awesome. The big problem they had: I'm a fan of the group and i had no idea this was out until literally 5 mins ago. I saw the advert for the album here on youtube. They needed more advertising!!! Otherwise they're never gonna sell records!

Well I also like that early DM sound, but they'd never go back. Not only is that style of music sadly no longer popular, but in a way DM have painted themselves in a corner as a "dark brooding" band and it's what many of their fans now expect.
They even have drums in their concerts, something that shocked me.
They sound the same after 30 years of music career.Amazing!

Not a fan of the album (matter of preference, really), but I often find myself singing this song. One thing they always did well is write hella catchy songs

Fantastic album with great songs on it. Like blake909909 says, l too am glad they are back. So refreshing to have something that isn't so repetitively mainstream and a copy of another act.
