    For any vehicle, especially an EV, having a cruise control on the vehicle is paramount, as the efficiency can be really optimised! crawling up speed on the cruise control is an ideal way to maximise efficiency, especially on the highway, though this requires really high self control and calm demeanour! difficult for me to achieve this as well, though I try to do this more and more! (I own an ICE TC car w/auto box and cruise control)

      Reached Zeon Mysuru with around 35% SOC remaining. Charged Full upto 100%
      Reached Zeon Bengaluru with around 17% remaining. At Mysuru, we did take a detour to KRS dam. Would have been more comfortable if you go direct.
      Thank you.

    Sir what was your experience during going uphill to ooty from mysore. How many times you needed to charge up vehicle

    • @pluginIndia
      @pluginIndia  2 роки тому +2

      Going up-hill drains the battery.
      We actually went from Coimbatore. From Coimbatore, Ooty is at a distance of only 85 km but then we had 40 km Ghat constant uphill drive.
      So its very important to top up for 30 min to 100% at the Mettupalayam DC Fast charger which is installed by another CPO - VEEV. They have installed it in a very strategic location.
      Then you reach Ooty with around 40% state of charge remaining.
      The Tigor performs very well while climbing. Excellent grip on the road. The only bug we found was that the efficiency display is stuck at 250 wH/km. We were sure the number was around 350 wH/km when we were climbing the steepest sections of the ghat.

    why you have to drive uphill to drain battery ? whats wrong if regen is 99% or battery is fully charged by downhill driving ?

    • @NYK115
      @NYK115 3 місяці тому +1

      Regen will stop when battery is 99% , regen is like automatic engine braking or like the cycle dynamo, car will automatically slow down if you stop pressing the accelerator,so we don’t need to keep pressing the brakes while driving downhill when regen is on, taking the foot off the accelerator is enough to slow down the car, It is Good for the life of brake shoe, easier and safer to drive .So while going downhill it is better not to have battery charged more than 70 percent. 65% will be even better.

    • @burzum8312
      @burzum8312 2 роки тому

      Its the best choice if your budget is as per the car price. I have a daily 100km run and I use 25% of the battery for 50km, then charge at work and then come back. Sometimes I don't charge at work, still doesn't matter. I was going by Hexa earlier but now NexonEV. My daily commute cost went from 850 to 150.

    Masanagudi road is most dangerous road even for geared vehicles because of the steepness breaks will overheat and it will fail which has resulted in many gruesome deaths every year so only locals are allowed to drive through that road. I don’t know how to got to drive through that road without gears, even regen is not nearly enough to slow the 1.25 ton vehicle.you should try to love you live man…

    If we have cruise control there is no need of going back like you did. Am i right

    • @pluginIndia
      @pluginIndia  2 роки тому +1

      No Cruise control is only useful if you are going in a straight line on a highway at constant speeds.
      Here Regen Braking kicks in only if Tigor has SOC < 98%. The ghat adds charge very rapidly to the battery as you are descending.
