Strangely I love that long period before the action starts. Sometimes I find it a anticlimax when it does. I just like the quiet whilst holding my rifle. I'm obviously getting old. 😀
This could be called retro ripley the old reliable NXS and Remington 700 and even the old ford ranger....👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏼I hope your healing well mark and ill be looking forward to seeing you out in action again. All the best from Ireland mate 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Wondering what happened to Mark, you able to share why he needed healing a all? Ive been a subscriber for a long time now and wondering where he was. All best from Australia
Thanks guys - mostly been busy with other projects for other channels like the shooting show and shooting and country tv, but did my shoulder in at the start of the year so couldn’t shoot for awhile! Back in action now 😉👍
At last some daytime foxing!!🦊 Rare videos these days.🙏 Excellent shooting as usual and nice to see the old Remington 700 again.😊 Lovely South Downs.❤️ Thanks Mark.
Your a very patient man and I suppose that’s how you get results, well done that was excellent watching another of your fox shooting videos keep them coming I always look forward to seeing your adventures.
Most enjoyable session on foxes today, thank you Mark, I do appreciate your time in putting this one together. Especially in counting down the hours at the start,..this is what I would call "sticktoitivness "
This video of marks just reminds me of the smell of being out on the fresh cut silage and wheat fields in the summer evenings and nights stood up on the back of the land cruiser watching the sun setting…..bliss 😩😄
Sick vids mate I'm currently banned from firearms the Queen said so herself haha but sometime in the future my lads are up and coming and i hope to WATCH them shoot and luk forward to the days sitting out waiting for our moment gud luck with channel pal keep up da gud work 👍 😀 😉
It’s pretty funny to me that an old woman in a shiny hat has somehow been given enough power in the court of public opinion to dictate a people’s rights to bear arms.
Nice shooting Mark as always good content too, if you were going to go for a cartridge for fallow, sika and reds would it be 270 or 30-06 just wanted your thoughts
Hi Rob! Yes I did pinch the image for that video, and yes that is the beretta although I don’t have it anymore! Sadly I only had it for a couple of weeks!
Ah yes Mr Ripley, that looks like one of my shoots....waiting,waiting,waiting then all of a sudden out they come, mostly when there's only 1 hour of light left. Nice vid anyway, I always love seeing the English countryside so different to SA. Are you stil on your first barrel?, I heard you say you put about 2000 rounds through it. atb, Sean.
Why don't you move the front ring as far forward on the picrail/Nightforce as you can? If you do you will have a more robust setup and reduce vibration in the scope during fireing.
It was set up like this to allow for the lamp I used to use which clipped onto the tube of the scope, if it went behind the front ring, it was too close to the elevation turret when I had two piece mounts on there, later I’m using a one piece mount so governed by eye relief to a degree but I don’t use the lamp anymore so it’s set up better now 👍

@@Eirehunter22 i know...the roe rut will be well worth the wait also going for highland stags in sept..i cant wait

That man has more patience than a stroke Dr after a new run of vaccinations!
nice shooting
Spot on mate 👌 👍
Hi Mark, great video as usual. Can I ask what call were you using on the Foxpro clip ?
That would be either ‘screaming rabbit’ or ‘baby rabbit distress’ 👍
Eviction notices served 😁👍
260 does Rip! 👌🏻
What bag is it you have? And if you remember, where could you buy it in UK? Thanks for good videos, keep it up!
Just sub to your channel. Great video 👍🦊🦊🦊🇬🇧
Thank you! Plenty more videos to enjoy 😉👍
Been waiting for this, glad you are back, I guess that scope is working out just fine?
Yes using the element scope and it’s been great although these are old clips with the old Nightforce on there!
@260rips i was wondering where is the element, i just got my Titan.
Good to see the 260 and NXS again, do you still have it and are you going to use it in the future on the foxes. Good stuff
I’ve sold the nxs now, good scope but I prefer the nexus 👍
nice shooting. the camera you use on your scope would it fit the atn lt thermal if so were to buy from thanks
Possibly 🤔 they are available from highland outdoors, it’s a triggercam.
Bang on 👍💥👍💥
Nice shooting! Whats the stock on that rifle? Did not quite catch it.
It’s an accuracy international folding stock, one of the early ones!
Nice shooting Mark as always good content too, if you were going to go for a cartridge for fallow, sika and reds would it be 270 or 30-06 just wanted your thoughts
To be honest I’ve not used either of those calibres that much so personally I’d go with a good old 308 if I were regularly shooting larger deer
Anothrt phenomenal video, Mark! I notice the video image it looks like the new beretta rifle, do you have some field time with it now?
Hi Rob!
Yes I did pinch the image for that video, and yes that is the beretta although I don’t have it anymore! Sadly I only had it for a couple of weeks!

Hi Sean 😉👍 on the 2nd barrel now, the last one did about 5000 before it was done for! 😉
@@260rips 5000!, you got good wear out of that 👍
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What are those long-eared hoppy things? Is it the mythical 'rabbit' I've heard about?
Haven't see any real ones in Buckinghamshire for years 😳
Hare
Man this guy can shoot.
Why don't you move the front ring as far forward on the picrail/Nightforce as you can?

Новое видео) спасибо!
Great shooting as always. What call did you use on the fox caller ?
I think that one is baby rabbit distress 👍
@@260rips Thanks for the reply.
MM77👍🏼👍🏼 Approved
01:40 Was that field once a river in a previous life?
Quite possibly! As it happens further round the valley there is a small river yes!
Nice shooting! Were you trained in the military?
