You have not only given me a fish, but you have "taught me to fish" forever grateful to you! I wish you the best

    I needed help pinpointing why my bike was going to the side. Felt off. The front brake pad, the one on the inner side is hanging loose. Most luk3ly a bolt came off. I'll n3ed some loctite for next time that it doesn't shake off

  • @chriskraemer9786

    Hey there have a question my front brakes were feeling spongy so I followed the bleeding video with the 1 man bleeder and this was not fixing the problem I ended up taking the calipers off and noticed that they were very pushed forward. I pushed them back with a clamp and actually changed the pads(I had extra) what I noticed is that the pads only go down about 1/4 to 1/2 inch onto the caliper ( i can send you photo if helpful) no matter how i positioned the caliper i could not get more of the pads over the rotor. Any thoughts? My breaking is much better, but shouldn't the pad cover more of the rotor Could my rotors be too small in diameter? Could there be a different issue? How far down to your pads go into the rotor? Thank you Chris

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  3 роки тому +2

      Hello Chris the problem with the caliper that does not finish the brake pad is normal and is a bad design from the Chinese company like many other little little things in this type of scooters your rotor is fine is just the pistons that they are slightly short the best thing to do to correct the problem will be to make a spacer to place on the inside of the piston calipers and make that with an older brake pad and sand or grind that down to a 1.5mm thickness but with the price that I buy the new brake pads from 6 to 8 dollars for a pair of brake pad I'm not going to go crazy and spend my time of making a spacer . Thank you for watching my video and be safe my friend

    How to know that the break pads are worn out?

    • @VirberelloScooterTips
      @VirberelloScooterTips  2 роки тому

      Hello my friend in many times you need to change the beak pad when the friction material is less than 1/16 inch or sometimes if the break pad material is getting old and dry and they do not perform the right way , thank you for watching my video
