The problem was that that brakes got stuck all the way open, I think. Perhaps due to dried fluid or debris behind it. Once you broke it so they could move again, they could automatically adjust again. Another symptom is probably that the brakes would always be on when hot before this happened. A faster way to fix would be to just move the pads with a screwdriver while they caliper is still on, if my theory is correct. Thanks for sharing.
After i removed the front eheel to have a bew tire on and i also did new brake pads, the pads made a bit of noise which i was told was a bit normal for new pads. The caliper seemed ok and pumped back onto wheel when i installed it. But i think i need to redo thise completly as now when i put the bike down and went to move it, its totally not going anywhere! Im workibg on a 2009 ysmaha majesty 400 scooter. Any ideas for ne epukd bd great. Maybe a caliper rebuild kit, ir can i take the pustobs out and gently refurbish? Please reply, would love the help. GOD dammit! I did mistake. After cleaning it I still can't feel pressure on my brake? I needed to clean it out by having the pistons out and not closed because of that I think its stick to the point I am unable to bleed the brakes? What to do with a closed pistons? I took it off the brake fluid line so its by itself. Now how do I open the pistons up so I can clean it properly? Or do I need a new one? Arrhhh!!!!

No. But it’s super easy. Similar to cars, have a plastic bottle with your Brake fluid. Open valve, and pump the brakes. Don’t let reservoir run dry.
