There are actually builds where you want your rads to be really high. It's kind of glass cannon, but you do a TON of damage if your rads are that high. You can one-shot or two-shot pretty much anything.
doesn't it help for the ricochet perk? The lower the health, the better the chances to ricochet, so high rad allows you to max your chances I guess.
Once you've been playing for a while, you stop caring about the radiation level most of the time. You can buy decontamination arches.

Came back after doing this to say you don't even need to change items, if you press right in the DPAD it counts as crafting. So you can literally just spam the right arrow and it'll still "craft" while all you're doing is switching the menus!
Combine right in the dpad with the attach button and it's even quicker (I think), it's what I've been doing.
To make it even easier, select something that is stacked like ammo. Press A/X which will bring up much you want to give and then press right on the d-pad. The robot workbench allows you to create items just my pressing right so the glitch will work like usual but nothing will be transferred to your companion's inventory meaning no more worrying about their carry limit or fucking up your inventory.
My man even updated to 2020 what a bloody legend! You just gained a sub for putting time into your videos!

Thanks for showing us all the glitch JimMcnugget and the reason why you have to put all your stuff from your workshop in a container in case anyone sees my comment and is wondering about that, the reason is it takes the materials out of your workshop because your not putting the torso on when you already have one, your basically making a new one every time and JimMcnugget doesn’t want you to waste your materials so that’s why he said to put everything from your workshop in a container because JimMcnugget actually cares about the viewers.
This is one of those small channels that you randomly find and you know that they deserve WAY more subs.

Helpful hint, you have to actually have the protectron mod built and in your inventory then follow his steps, it wasn’t working for me until I did that. Then that’s when it started the noise. Thanks for the vid bro 👍🏻

One downside. If you do this as early you can do it, you will make the game harder. You will have way stronger enemys but not strong enough weapons to fight them. So there might be a difficult time before you find these weapons.

Challenge I see
On console, just click right on the D-pad instead of A when spamming protrecton torso, so you don’t have to transfer back and forth
on pc. "~ player.setlevel 100" isn't that hard to do

Dude, thank you...I’ve made like hundreds of characters, get them all to level 50 or above just for something to mess it up and have them all unplayable. This helped a lot
Question. How early in the game can I do this glitch? Obviously I need the dlc but just curious 🤔 I wanna do this in the beginning of the game if possible
Mr. Zoom, in order to activate the dlc you have to be atleast level 15 or above, your best bet is to put your intelligence at 10 and your luck to 5 or 6 (for idiot savant perk) and try to get to level 15 as fast as possible...it’ll be kind of annoying but it’s the best i can offer you

Amazing Bro. a little tip, fill your inventory with as much ammo and miscellaneous crap as you can. zero weight. if you're not on survival obviously. 32-64 in 10 minutes BTW.

And It also works if you just continuously press x even if your companion is over-encumbered :D so even quicker and then no need to go through all of your gear for the light items just keep pressing 'x', as long as it's making the sound it's working :D And share the video with your friends or tell them about it, please :D It really helps me get out there, having people share and like my videos :D Also if you lied this then be sure to watch my other fo4 videos (With mods out it's insane XD)

Waited a week to try this one out and it worked!! I'm on PC and didn't want to use cheats and went from level 45 to 68 in a few minutes and got all the perks I wanted 🙂 might get high later so I can do it for an hour and get the other few ones i could use. Thank you for your help!!!
Ahh, neat glitch. The game doesn't recognize you having the items you need to craft the Protectron torso, but because the inventory transfer uses the same buttons, it bypasses the "Are you sure you want to craft" dialogue letting the craft go through but not using the torso in your inventory (unless getting rid of it is part of the glitch as well.) Good find.

26 December 2016: This glitch does still currently work. If anyone is having trouble about the torso not being an option, just put one of the torso mods in your inventory and you'll be good to go!

you don't need to switch between inventories when your companion maxes out just keep pressing X. I would set it up turn the volume all the way down and go watch some videos while im spanning X and in like a half houe you have 50 50 levels depending on your current level

Still works. Just back out every now and then cause it will lag hard after. Also make sure you already have a protectron torso or it will eat up your materials building them.

Thank you! Btw for the glitch I found out that when it comes to the ast step when you press 'x' and keep switching inventories, all you actually have to do here is just press 'x', no need to switch inventories, as long as you hear the sound its working! :D Also I hope you enjoy my other videos too!

it is February 3rd 2019 and the glitch still works. it took me a few tries but I ended up leveling up with the Robotram torso and I also used idiot sevont. I don't think it helps that much as well as the stupid laughing that wont stop now. I went from level 58 to 93 in about 30 min. God I really hope this laughing stops soon....
To make the laughing and xp go away you can just save the game then load the save. Then the xp thing at the side of the screen will go and soon will the laughing :)
