Yeah I gotta agree with the others in saying $220 is hard to justify when shoes like the Supercomp Trainer and Invincible are $180 and the Invincibles dp go on sale occasionally so you can get them for $150 or less. Sounds like a solid training shoe or race shoe for someone that’s not looking for a true race day shoe, but not worth full retail price.

Very different shoe from the other two. This is significantly lighter and more of a do-it-all shoe compared to the SC trainer and invincible 3 is just a brick…wouldn’t even compare the two. I’d happily pay extra to run in this over the invincible

This would be a faster shoe than your nimbus and if you don’t want a carbon plated shoe then this is a good companion shoe. However it is technically illegal to race in the SB but unless a World Athletics Race it doesn’t really matter. An alternative choice for you I’d suggest is getting the ASICS Magic Speed 3 instead if you don’t mind running in a carbon plate. It’s less cushioned and faster than your nimbus which is what you want so you’re not always running in super cushioned shoes all the time. But not recommended to run more an a HM in them.

Nope and no, I don’t mean the movie… $220 for a daily trainer without a carbon plate…. And it’s illegal…. That’s a big no for me dawg… sorry Asics. I’ll stick to the Novablast. Asics will not be blasting my wallet for this shoe. $220 for this shoe?… I’d rather get the Shift 3 or NB MFV4… or SC Trainer if you want a carbon plate.

@@longshlongsilver293 you’re right, but from the cost of a high end running shoe, it is jaw dropping. I’d say the most expensive part of the material is FF turbo foam. I’d not be surprised ASICS is following suit of the current trend of super shoes these days from major shoe companies. There’s competition going on in the marketing.

@@wonkydonkey7899the materials only cost a few $. You don't set the price of the cost of materials. There are by the way many costs besides the plastic and rubber. You set the price of at a point where you make the most profit.
