I’m an Altra guy, but I have the More V4 for long runs. Love them. Almost bought a second pair because I know how sneaker companies make unnecessary modifications to a good version. Nonetheless, I’ll only use them during long runs so I can get as much out of them as possible. Very happy with these! 👍🏾

Really appreciate how rich your reviews are! I just picked up a pair of wide More v4s, thank you! (Running Warehouse link didn't have the wide ones, alas.)
I’ve run in the V4 a few times and have decided it’ll be my winter shoe. I’m all in on the SC trainer right now. The only thing I think the V4 does better is traction on slippery surfaces. It’ll definitely be at the top of the rotation on cold days/wet days.
@@jonathanmatthew5631 For walking, it’s the V4. You’re going to do more twisting and turning when walking and you don’t want such a high stack shoe for that.
Right now I'm using the More V3 (and invincible v2) for walking and weighted carry (30-50lbs), on long rucks (10+ miles) i've noticed More V3 starts losing its cushion around 7 miles but the next day it's back to normal. I've a pair of SC trainers on order to see how it compares for the same use ... but maybe I need the V4s ... we'll see. Personally I don't do a lot of twisting and turning on my walks (unidirectional for miles) so maybe the SC trainers will be better?
Based on my experience with the V3, everything they said about the shoe is spot on. It's very comfortable and fits my wide foot well. And it may be heavy, but doesn't ride like it. Very good energy return so I can pick up the pace and even take them out for a fartlek. The weight shouldn't be a dealbreaker when you consider what these shoes are designed for which are easy or recovery miles when you want to pamper the legs a bit. It's not really meant to be a daily trainer. And yes, NB definitely out-Hokaed Hoka on this one.
@@MrBotag mine are worn right in the center of the mid foot/forefoot section, but not entirely down to the foam. Heel still looks untouched and the foam hasn’t deadened all that noticeably. Upper hardly has any damage.
I tried the V4 and Bondi 8, Both are very confortable, in my case I have a wide toe box, both were very confortable. Just bought one, but planning on the other. Both great fit for wide toe box. By that I mean D fits well on one foot, and a little tight on the toe box for the other, thus I get a EE.
No regrets getting this shoe. Foam is noticeably softer than V3 and bouncy too. I will say though that there has been a couple instances where it feels kind of clunky at certain paces. When walking or very slow jogs it feels soft and plush, and when picking up the pace it is bouncy and protective. But some of the in between paces, especially when striking very flat mid foot, it doesn’t seem to like it and kind of just slaps the ground and loses the smooth ride. It’s a small nitpick in an otherwise fantastic shoe, and it may go away as I put more miles and break in the foam more and more.
@@alexanders4911 I prefer the V4, but that’s not to say the V3 is a bad shoe. If you can find V3 for a good price then you’re still getting a good shoe for a better deal. But if I could only have one, I’d choose V4.
For a max cushion similar to the Bondi 8 but more of a pillow feel (not as firm) V4. No knee pain or back pain from training. Also, these are the best for being on your feet at work all day. Go w/the More V4 over the 1080 V12, if they are just for what I use them for that is.....I was a devout 1080 V12/Adidas Ultraboost trainer until the V4. Hope I could help someone out.
I am on my 3rd pair of ultra boosts because they are just such durable and comfy workout/walking shoes. You’d reco more v4 over ultra boosts for those occasions?
@@williamyoung4891 I use my Ultra boosts for working out too. The durability I am honestly not sure of in comparison to the boosts. I can say that for walking/being on your feet all day, the cushion is enough to buy. I bought the Hoka Bondi 8 around the same time and they are basically those w/a more comfy fit and softer cushioning. I would suggest trying them on at a store first if possible of course. From my recent tests.... 1. More V4 2. Adidas 4wdfwd (cool but, way too tight around the ankle/Boosts are more reliable) 3. Bondi 8- firmer than Boosts/More V4.
Hey, buddy! You did help me a lot! Almost pulling the trigger on the V4, but if you don't mind, I'd like to get one additional insight from you: have you had any experience with the NB More V3 TRAIL version? I can't get that fully white big ultra-cushioned shoe off my head. I really like tall shoes, and I'm looking for something "comfortable" (not necessarily ultra cushy) for my first big trip, coming in a month from now. 21 days of walking the whole day. For reference, I'm a 107kg dude. Used to be very active in sports since forever, but now in the 6th month of recovering from a ACL tore and doing just gym and indoor bike, hence, looking for something comfortable for the trip walking. Had to take my eyes off the Adizero SL (which I loved) since folks are telling it feels like a brick.
I had to send these back. If you are a larger/heavier runner the lack of foam in the heel/centre of the shoe is a real issue. I'm not a major heel-striker, but I'm fairly flat footed. You really do sink down into it and have to push up and over the forefoot foam. Even with the rocker. If you are a forefoot striker I can imagine this a great option - but I'd definitely try them first if you're not.
I was underwhelmed with More V3, main issue was the upper was so warm! The midsole just felt a bit dull compared with the Invincible. I’ll hold fire on getting this version for now unless I see a cheeky discount!
@@gelade Ugh! I see Amazon has the V3 for ~$115, so I might just get those exclusively for long runs-which, for me, is just a 10K. At 62yo, my VO2 Max is in the low 40s, so a combo of alternating weekly Zone 2 10K runs (in the V3) and HIIT (e.g., 4x4 min. HI runs interlaced with 4 min. rest/slow jogs) (in my 1080v12s) could help me improve that a bit. Plus, that’ll naturally prep me for our local annual 5k (working to beat my pre-pandemic PB of 25:05).
Awesome review. Nb ff more v 3 is my fave show. But i didnt really get wide foot jarrett. The intro to this video seemed like it was cut and edited by kofuzi, literally everything from the music to the cuts and the background. I kept expecting to hear his voice. No lie, but that's okay because I'm a huge fan of both channels.
The invincible 3 are a combination for cushion jogging/ lifestyle and the nb are made for cushion and speed. By that I mean the invincible 3 feels unstable for fast running cuz of the lock down, it feels loose but for jogging, walking you won't feel the issue or the issue is negligible and the cushion on the invincible is too squishy and you feel the energy deminish rather than energy return but again, for jogging in moderate speed and distance it wont affect you that much. The nb has good lock down, energy return is better and it feels more stable in high speeds and the look isint that bed as well. So in the end, it's all about what type and or level of runner you are. If you're a beginner and also want a casual pair of shoes that you can rock I would go for the invincible. But if you plan on slspecifically doing long distance speed run with cushion, I would go for the nb.

Hey guys, LOVE your videos. Question....how is the sizing on the More V4? True to size? Took your advice on the 1080 V12 and ordered one size down and it fit perfect. I have run in the SC Trainer 3-4 times and I feel it is 1/4-1/2 size too small? Agree? I also felt my More V3 was in that 1/4-1/2 size too small.
NB needs to make gud looking cushy spikeless golf shoe! Nobody other than Adidas seems to has a golf shoe that looks modern and plush under $100 and NB could make a killing! They're doing great with tennis shoes too.
I am not sporty or runner, I need one for casual, life style, walking in a mall, traveling, light, soft, super cushion, as walking on cloud, pillowy feeling so what do you suggest for me FRESH FOAM X 1080 V12 or MORE V4 or FuelCell Rebel V3?????
They are very cushioned, giving the likes of the Hoka Clifton a run, but realize with the very wide heel, it may play havoc with your knee alignment/act as a stability shoe, which is fine for some, but may not give you the neutral landing your foot wants. Regret I had to return mine as I am a neutral runner and found them too correcting . How about a narrower heel version, New Balance? The cushion levels are right on, though, and More is better there!
I tried this on in the store and I didn't like the upper compared to the v3. Overall, shoe felt stiffer and would need time to break in whereas the v3 was good to go out of the box. The toe box is a little bigger which is good since it's tight on the v3. But both version have low volume which on the v3, hurt my toes. Wonder if anyone else felt these same differences?
How does it compare with the Fuelcell Supercomputer trainer? Yes, plate will create different ride; but stack height and amount of total foam would seem to say you could get beset of both worlds for only a few dollars more with Fuelcell TraIner. Thoughts please
How is this compared to the Nike Invincible Zoomx in terms of pure comfort and softness? I'm only doing walking/brisk walking and no jogging/running so i'm searching for the most comfortable shoes (need it to relieve my knees). Is the NB More v4 the best or is the Zoomx better for me? Thanks.
Definitely comfy BUT....I'm getting a hot spot on the middle of my inner arch on my right foot right around the 8km mark every run...super disappointed based on the money I spent on them.

More v4. I’ve both the More v4 and 1080v12 and the more v4 is far more comfortable. Don’t have the SC trainer though
Come on guys. Is is so hard to take studio shots of your shoes before running in them for your shoe review videos? lol
David Blaine?
So should I get this or the Novablast 3? Tell me 😆
How is this compared to the Nike Invincible Zoomx in terms of pure comfort and softness? I'm only doing walking/brisk walking and no jogging/running so i'm searching for the most comfortable shoes (need it to relieve my knees). Is the NB More v4 the best or is the Zoomx better for me? Thanks.
Definitely comfy BUT....I'm getting a hot spot on the middle of my inner arch on my right foot right around the 8km mark every run...super disappointed based on the money I spent on them.
How much softer are these than other fresh foam-x shoes? The new 1080 is kinda stiff for me in the heel.
Very soft. You can squeeze the heel where they cut out that bit in the bottom.
@@azlizzie Agreed, I actually went ahead and bought them but will be returning since it's actually too soft for me lol
How is this compare to v1080?
Is the More V4 true to size or does it run a half-size too big like the 1080v12?
Half size big, in my experience so far.
@@azlizzie Thanks!
Will we see a between 2 shoes? Bondi 8 vs More V 4? Also, Bondi 8 or More V4 as the choice from all of you guys at BITR.
A couple on the way
These are nice but I found them heavy. Very stable but oddly it was rubbing my ankle a lil. Loves the men’s better then the women’s
