I know that you as a creator have a vision for how you would like your videos to look aesthetically but I gotta say I'm just happy to see you here and to see the photos you're taking. The aesthetics of the footage of your walks isn't really important to me since I'm always excited and waiting to see the photos you show on the screen as you take them. I don't know about other viewers' preferences but just wanted to say how I feel personally since you made the comment about the footage not being as aesthetically pleasing as you'd like it
Miss your videos but I get the idea of not wanting to be a UA-cam/social media photographer. Your shits too good to have it be limited to that. Much love!

I had this camera for a brief spell before deciding I needed more control but i really loved how fast this thing let me shoot. Also great for moved images and motion blur.
I picked one up in December and I've been loving it! The inflated price is a bit ridiculous but I do love the ergonomics and its a big step up from 35mm. I've found that the autofocus misses pretty regularly, especially in lower light or when there's not much natural contrast in the scene. But it's just so darn nice to shoot with!
If you're missing focus, its coz ur not using the manual focus button to the left of the lens for critical focus as you push the shutter button down half way. It locks in your focus to where the spot meter is. Keep the button MF pressed & recompose...
Man, I'm so jealous of the good sound you get out of your cell phone microphone. It’s frustrating. I have a really hard time to make my Rode NT1 sound that good. 😭😭😭 You’re a microphone wizard. 🧙🏻

Very curious is you ever regret giving up the Mamiya 7. i’ve been debating selling mine for years, I don’t produce work with it but the only thing keeping me to it is that I might some day, and if i ever sell it i wouldn’t be able to afford it again.
A contax T3 might be more compact, but the GA645 is averaging $1500AUD and a contax T3 is insanely priced at $3000-4000 AUD. And you are getting a bigger negative / IQ.
Would you not prefer the video is shorter and not waste your time, rather than me padding it out my video for the advertising section to be comparatively shorter?

I'm just sick of Squarespace bashing in all content creator's videos that i love. I didn't waste my time by watching this video, but every time i heard "Thank you Squarespace" is hurting me bad.
No amount of squarespace sponsorship can make up for the fact that each and every photo featured in this video is the most boring photo I've ever seen. I really don't understand why this kind of content needs to be shared with the public. Edit. Edit. Edit.

I like using mine for like short - medium distance stuff, it means you can see the depth a bit more. Lens is super sharp and flash is great.
Thanks for pushing up the demand & the price on GA645. Think I'll sell my mint one in the next few mumfs. A great camera with a super sharp lens.
Isn't the Zi the zoom version? Love my GA645, use it all the time. Even the built-in flash is surprisingly good for portraits.
Avoid the zoom versions of this camera. They brick it much sooner.

There’s no tricks or effects on it, it’s just having the microphone close to your mouth that cuts out all the other noises

nt1a is condenser mic. you’d want a dynamic mic like a sm58 if you do not have a properly deadened space.
