have you managed to start uploading podcast episodes to the youtube channel yet willem? i've been listening but would love to see the video versions. thanks
These videos are the highlight of my week. Literally every Sunday I rush to UA-cam to watch your latest vid first thing. It’s inspiring, and you’re killing the game!
It’s like when I watch a skate video and I need to skate so badly afterwards and then I go outside afterwards and remember I skate so badly... But with photography.
So psyched you're bringing the podcast back. I found your channel like 2 days ago and I've been watching all your videos and I listened to all the podcasts you had going and I was bummed to see you hadn't posted a new one in forever when I finish the 4th episode. I'm really looking forward to the next episode.
@@WillemVerb your stuff and the people you've highlighted through your podcast and photo talks are really blowing my mind man. I've never thought of my photography as self expression, not until I listened to your Lauren Tepfer podcast. Thank you for what you're putting out there. You're making an impact greater than the sum of your work.
Stoked for the return of the podcast, Willem. Always stoked to get notified of a new upload on your channel - thanks for the inspiration for my foray into film :)
Gotta say, I'm a fan of the glow from the Fuji portraits. It may be the way the harsh light reflects off/interacts with reflective items. Also, your interview was primo. How good.
This one was strate fire man. Love the glow on those images, must be some exclusive pre-pushed Portra. Also can't wait for those fresh podcast episodes.
Great camera! I have the GA645Zi and it's great to carry just for a day in the city! Does have some Autofocus issues here and there but still great overall! Great Video!
Right. Either the lens is very dirty, or she has scratched the hell out the lens coating cleaning it with tissue paper or shirt tails, or there is a fungus among us.
Great channel.Mike Slack is an awesome photographer. Love his book. I have a Fuji GA645 but haven’t shot on it for a while. Just Loaded some Porta in it and ready to shoot.
Hey Willem, I've been searching back trying to find an old video where you recommend a photo book by an American photographer which includes a photo of a couple kids watching a car burn on a highway. Trouble is I can't find it again! Do you have any idea what one this is? Love love love your videos, been a huge inspiration to how I've approached film photography. Thanks! xx
The photos and prints look so cool, good decision to create a print portolio. The Fuji GA645 is a great camera, I have it too and I always have fun shooting with it, the lens is amazing sharp.
how do you commit in shooting film and not getting bothered by other peoples opinion about your shots. I want to be sure about starting film before buying my own film camera
Excellent video... One question... what kind of paper do you use to print? I print my photos in a local photography store, but i dont like the paper, and yours looks smooth, i dont know how
Because you overexposed the film the white highlights have become even brighter than normal. Very bright highlights glow when shot on film. If you had exposed normally the highlights probably wouldn't have glowed as much or at all. ~Interesting effect.
i find that rubbing some vaseline on my lenses also make my pics look really cool. Not medium format cool but i get the credit. totally couldnt pull these off on my iphone 4s.

Makes me want to go shoot immediately without fail. Every time.
So glad to hear!
It’s like when I watch a skate video and I need to skate so badly afterwards and then I go outside afterwards and remember I skate so badly...
But with photography.
I've been following Aint-Bad for a while and they're incredible and really wonderful people.
Yes they are!
Negative Feedback is the man to follow on youtube & IG
Feeling the pang for a GA645. Nice to come back and watch this video in 2022

Always happy when there’s a video from Willem that I haven’t watched! Keep up the hard work 🙏🏻
This one was strate fire man. Love the glow on those images, must be some exclusive pre-pushed Portra. Also can't wait for those fresh podcast episodes.
Whats some exclusive pre-pushed Portra? Im not cool enough to understand you
Those pictures that glows actually looks like pro mist and I love it
Great camera! I have the GA645Zi and it's great to carry just for a day in the city! Does have some Autofocus issues here and there but still great overall! Great Video!
Can’t wait for that Phototalk with Gabe and Vicky
Vicky was a big inspiration to me early on too. Can't wait for episode of Photo Talks.
dude i love the night shots
Thank you!
Lovely shots
Vicky's voice tho❤️
I like that Polaroid of the Boeing 747 aircraft that your friend took in the photo zine.
I can't wait until you come out with your project!!
I think that glow is from the harsh light bouncing off her white t-shirt
Right. Either the lens is very dirty, or she has scratched the hell out the lens coating cleaning it with tissue paper or shirt tails, or there is a fungus among us.
Dino's book looks really awesome! Great pick up and supporting a friend.
most underrated photography channel on yt
Looking forward to more podcast episodes! It's great to hear about others bodies of work and processes
Definitely! Im stoked :))
excited for the podcast to come back!
Very nice, interesting video!,I was searching for something about the Fuji Camera, but this is even better!
Isn't that glow caused by the big difference in contrast between her and the background? Never mind, it looks cool! Nice vid again Willem!!
@Bobby Brady ok. How then?
What happened to the Mexico blog?:c it made me really happy the fact that you were here♥️ i really love your work and videos ✨
emmanuel93736 same
Its a disposable video, I will probably wait to upload it because I just posted a disposable video. It will come :)
Willem Verbeeck where is it will
The glow: Dirty scanner optics.
4:20 it looks so like a pro mist filter! incredible! :D
That glow is just her light shirt being over exposed. Had this happen with some portraits on Ektar but it turned out really cool.
Great channel.Mike Slack is an awesome photographer. Love his book. I have a Fuji GA645 but haven’t shot on it for a while. Just Loaded some Porta in it and ready to shoot.
I really enjoy your channel. Thanks for the inspiration!
cool as usual! and almost 100.000 sub! go man!
Thank you so much!
Hype for c-41 podcast coming back!
always great shots :)
My wife had one of those flip ultras 9 years ago when we went to Hong Kong. 720p baby.

Maybe bit late, but i think it was Joshua Dudley Greer 'Somewhere along the line'
I’m wanting to get into medium format. Can’t decide on my first cam. Mamiya 645, Pentax 645n or this one, Fuji Ga645
The photos and prints look so cool, good decision to create a print portolio.
The Fuji GA645 is a great camera, I have it too and I always have fun shooting with it, the lens is amazing sharp.
love you willem!
The vintage Man ❤️🙏
how do you commit in shooting film and not getting bothered by other peoples opinion about your shots. I want to be sure about starting film before buying my own film camera
Great video, Willem. Just a small bit of info: the GA645 shoot 15 frames per roll, the updated "i" variants, GA645i, GA645Wi, get 16 frames.
You still scanning your negatives?? Super good my dude
YO YOU MADE A VIDEO WITH THE FLIP!!! BLESS YOUR SOUL WILLEM VERBEECK.
The king of Flip cameras wow thank you
That glow could be from some lens fog, maybe even on the back element of the lens, ive had it happen a few times
Ayyy Vicky Grout!
Heading to NYC in a few months, would love to hang out!
that car shot is FIRE
is amazing how I can came to these videos and listen to cool people talking in same language as me

I very much enjoyed the video. Can you share what portfolio box you are using.
Excellent video... One question... what kind of paper do you use to print? I print my photos in a local photography store, but i dont like the paper, and yours looks smooth, i dont know how
Luster :)
Thanks man!
Hey Willem!
Thanks for your time and passion! Appreciate your work and effort :)
What would you suggest as a medium format camera ?
Sorry is there a link to the podcasts?
Dude. That's funny what you said about forgetting a light meter. You could have downloaded a metering app no? They work pretty good in a pinch.
Hi Willem, will you do someday a video about how to get the most of a flashmeter? That'd be awesome! x
lightmeter/flashmeter I mean
Love it will. Keep it up!
Hi Willem,
What camera and film did you use for the photographs taken in Jersey?
Btw, thanks for another great video! :)
lovely video to get inspiration from
What kind of scanner do you use for your film?
Are you working on any new episodes of the C41 podcast? btw great video

I was going to purchase it a while back but I heard about the flash problems, what would u say about it
yesssss Gabe!
I was already a fan of Sundays, but your consistent uploads make it that much better.
so so wish i could've gone to the art book fair! looked wild
Because you overexposed the film the white highlights have become even brighter than normal. Very bright highlights glow when shot on film. If you had exposed normally the highlights probably wouldn't have glowed as much or at all.
~Interesting effect.
What’s the brand of your inkjet printer
being the 100.000th viewer of this video is kinda cool ;-)
"I post every sunday". Well, fvck mondays even more.
Love the variaty in content that you want to bring out.
Just bought this Camera from KM on broadway!

The Fuji!!
YAssss
In reference to the Gabe bit at the end: New York City is the toughest place to shoot that I've ever been to lol
Have the Fuji ga645zi but have trouble focusing at night 🤷♂️

What happened to the podcast on Spotify?
Its still on spotify
i find that rubbing some vaseline on my lenses also make my pics look really cool. Not medium format cool but i get the credit. totally couldnt pull these off on my iphone 4s.
What was your reason for not picking up the Fuji yourself?
when the podcast coming back willem?
Can anyone tell me what a roll of Kodak portra 400 costs in the USA?
you can buy a 5 pack for $35 on amazon. 120 film that is.
$45 for 5 rolls on 35mm and $35 for 5 rolls on 120
The glow is from not cleaning your lens!
She’s so cute & she takes dope pics
now thats a variosoft look
Wow I wonder who’s flip cam that is
